Very late delivery. Even worse customer service. Refused to cancel order before it was sent out. Then told me I had to send it back and pay a fee to restock the item. Should have read reviews first. Save yourself the pain, do not use this company.

DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY. If I could leave a 0 star review I would. It has been almost 3 months and I have still not received my order (worth almost £400). I was told that bespoke orders usually take 14 days, but almost 3 months later still not a glimmer of hope that it will be delivered. Awful customer service, I am continuously having to chase up where my order is, with delivery being pushed back constantly with no explanation and barely a sincere apology. Customer service is rude and unhelpful. They refuse to give refunds for bespoke orders, despite The consumer rights act 2015 stating that I have a right to a refund if my order isn't delivered within a reasonable timeframe, regardless as to whether it is a bespoke order. Please save yourself the time and hassle, do not order from this company. I should have looked at the reviews before using this company! I have reported to trading standards.
UPDATE: 19/11/2024. Only received less than half of my order (220/500 boxes). And yes it gets worse... They were incorrect and much worse quality than the sample that was sent! I contact the company and say they are wrong and not the same as the sample i signed off. Of course they blamed me, and LIED, saying that the sample they have at their warehouse matches what was sent. I would not sign off a sample that was incorrect and not what i had asked for. This is still not resolved. Eventually after many arguments with rude customer service lady, i was told they would change the remaining boxes to the style that i requested. However of course they had another machine break (one excuse after another). Finally they agreed that as they havent been made yet, i can get a refund for the remaining boxes. And no surprise here... i am still waiting on the refund..... I have no hope that i will ever receive it!!

Received an unassembled box of very thin layers which supposedly houses a TV up to 65 inches. My 55 inch TV caused the bottom of the box to buckle under its weight. Didn't even make it to the car before the whole thing fell apart. The boxes are absolutely crap. I had plenty of bubble wrap luckily but they sent barely a few sheets which would have done jack. For £30 I expected a lot more

Don't even deserve a 1 star. Visited the store about a month ago and had to wait around 10 minutes to even be seen. Okay, i thought i would let them off as they were probably busy. Decided to visit today to get some boxes and bring in a glass, as on the previous visit the colleague we spoke with advised to do this so they can get an accurate dimension of the glass so that the boxes would suit. Went in and rang the bell, 5 mins went by, 10 minutes, 15 minutes got to 20 mins and left. Disgusting as you can literally hear people on the other side of the shelving. No courtesy to say they are busy or could you please wait. Absolutley no one come around for a 20 whole minutes so stood there like a knob for no reason. Rang the bell 4 times and no answer. Don't ever use this company. They are a joke and judging by all the bad reviews, everyone else thinks so too. Timewaste of a business.

Do not use this company, I never received my order, tracking information was false. Tried emailing the company but have had no replies, tried calling them just says person not available constantly. This company is a rip off!

Avoid this disaster of a company. Eliot and Alison Rushton are the owners and directors of this e-commerce nightmare. They will take your money, give you a delivery date that’s made up them provide you with false delivery and tracking info. They won’t even refund the order and tell you they can’t until it’s been delivered then you can request a refund when they know fine rightly they don’t have the order in stock and it hasn’t even been dispatched. They need to hang there heads in shame. No surprise they have had numerous other company issues previously. I hope this info helps someone else thinking of making a purchase. I will be informing all platforms including Facebook and Linkedin of the dirty deeds.

Absolutely shocking. I have ordered previously and had to change but I thought that after a year they may have changed but how wrong was i.

Placed an order 11 days ago messaged, emailed and tried calling but no response whatsoever. I have customers waiting for orders that I cants send until I have the boxes. As a small business I can't afford to order more until I receive a refund which I'm not holding much hope on. Absolutely useless company.

Please save your money and look elsewhere. This company is one of the worst I have ever dealt with, from extremely poor-quality boxes to even worse customer service. I have been trying for nearly 3 weeks to return the boxes they sent me, but they ignore your emails. The boxes I ordered were single walled, which I had ordered from them before, but they have changed their product since my last order. These boxes were so flimsy, very badly cut and most had their sides glued together, which is common but when you try to separate the sides the cardboard just rips. I have sent them photos and a YouTube video (which they say they can not open !!!) to show the poor quality of the boxes, I have supplied all the information they require but it would very much seem that they do not care one bit about their customers and the poor quality of goods they send out.
I have also read some of their replies within Trust Pilot, if they do reply to this one, please be assured that they are 100% aware of this case, and have just decided to ignore it so they do not have to refund my money.

Horrible experience do not use this company, took the payment but didn’t receive a confirmation of order on email. Had to email 3 working days later to even confirm they had received my order, rang two days after that to see if there was any update or tracking. Asked could I possibly get it emailed and rang again today for an update as I am getting anxious and needed an idea to work out if the products are going to be here or not so I can try and sort something else. Told it takes 24/48 hours for DPD to update them as they are slow to get back which I now believe is untrue as they haven’t obviously booked the order onto the system. Any other time a company sends DPD an email comes through from them with a two day notification date ONCE THEY HAVE RECEIVED THE PRODUCT FOR SHIPMENT. All they had to say yesterday was it wasn’t even ready instead of having me guess was it going to be today or as I was told on the phone maybe it could be Monday. Now after the call they have emailed Tuesday or Wednesday….
Just writing this as the lady on the phone was obviously sick of listening to me as it call was slammed off

Finally got a refund through PayPal today, I hope everyone gets their money back from the company for product’s not received. Shameful on the owners happy to take peoples money and put the blame on the delivery company for issue when they haven’t even shipped the product. Put people under stress, cause disruption to other people’s businesses and make them feel they are in the wrong when you call looking for information. But the director happy to show all over LinkedIn them sponsoring local football clubs with new kits etc which customers pocket did that come from ????

We ordered Boxes on 02.09.24 and meant to be delivered with 3-5 working days. Despite several calls and emails and promises that the courier will contact us to deliver - nothing has happened and no box received 24days later and this has negatively impacted our business as we relied on this order. As a business we hoped what they have on their website is honoured or even the emails and calls made but I think its much better for us to share the experience.
I wish we had a spot for 0-Star or just -1. So disappointed. We have had to raise a dispute with out Credit card issuer.

Still waiting for my order almost a month for a 5 day delivery. I’ve Lost a customer because if this . All I get is ‘you should get tracking order tomorrow’ found director on LinkedIn though! Was going for cashback but now doing small claims due to losing customers- you can give good answer because there isn’t one is there! UPDATE after emailing director today my order is now with DPD UPDATE- 01/10/24 ANOTHER order raised for delivery to DPD thus is something they obviously do to make you think it’s coming!! Small claims tomorrow

Initially they forgot my order for about 10days and sent it out the next day.
However my order was missing one item. After chasing them a few times via email they have just said we will check. No updates it's been more than a month.
Poor communication, poor customer service.

Not even worth a 1 star! I used Cardboard Boxes recently and had a terrible service. After a couple of weeks I contacted them for an update on my order, I was told they would contact their Ops department to chase it up. This happened a few times being given different delivery dates which never arrived. I requested tracking numbers but was never given any, in the end I said I wanted to cancel the order and wanted a refund. Their reply was that it was a bespoke order and they couldn't provide a refund, it would be better to wait for delivery of the order. I informed them that in my opinion a small claims court might have a different view. The boxes arrived about three days after that.
Delivery took over Six weeks after payment to arrive so I would not use this company again

It is ILLEGAL to charge a fee for a refund on an order which has not been shipped in the UK and I will be reporting this business to trading standards. Avoid.

Do not use Cardboardboxes if you need something quickly. Or at least in a reasonable time.
5 weeks to deliver 2 boxes and some bubble wrap. Absolute joke!!!

Ordered a TV box with protective foam corners and bubble wrap. Foam corners did not even constrain TV inside the box, and bubble wrap disent even cover a TV once. Despite buying extra protection, TV still damaged. Useless customer support flagrantly unconcerned by their selling of a bad product. Don’t waste your time or money.

[update 04/09] The company claim in their reply to have no record of me raising my concerns. This is not true. I contacted them via the same email account used here several times (I will happily evidence this). The natural conclusion is that they are either dishonest, or totally incompetent. Either way, don't waste your time.

I've used this company before and received my items without any issues. I've recently used again and they provided a good service.
I don't know what all these bad reviews are about.

I have read the negative reviews but I can honestly say that this company did their best to help me with an urgent supply of boxes for a removal. 48 hour delivery. Five Stars well-earned in my book and great customer service.
