​On October 13th, I made the mistake of using this company for an urgent, last-minute testing requirement at my hotel. What followed was predatory pricing and manipulative tactics at its absolute worst.
​They charged an outrageous 5,000+ AED for a simple swab and urine test (2,500 AED each). To put this extortion into perspective: a standard clinic test in Dubai costs around 400 AED, and reliable competing on-call doctor services charge roughly 650 AED. They are intentionally weaponizing customer urgency to fleece people for nearly ten times the market rate.
​When I realized the trap and attempted to cancel just 5 minutes after booking, they used aggressive, dishonest tactics to force the appointment on me—lying that the doctor was "only 10 minutes away." In reality, it took them 90 minutes to arrive.
​Dubai is full of incredible, high-quality, on-demand medical providers who do not resort to deceitful pricing and high-pressure traps. Avoid this predatory company at all costs.

A doctor came to me at 5 AM for a small stomach pain, charged AED 250 for the visit + AED 100 just for a prescription, and prepared an IV treatment invoice of around AED 7,000–8,000 — without even properly examining or touching my stomach.

In the end, I only needed oral medicine and a painkiller. When people are sick and vulnerable, they deserve proper medical care, not unnecessary expensive treatments.

Based on my experience, I would never trust this service again. Go to a proper hospital or clinic where you can be examined and treated correctly.

I am filing an urgent financial dispute against Care24 Healthcare (Office M3, Al Khayyal Building, Al Karama) [3.1] for point-of-sale deception, active document concealment, and predatory price gouging amounting to 14,797 AED. On August 30th, their home-care team arrived for an advertised 249 AED doctor consultation. The merchant presented the payment terminal by pushing the back of the machine toward my hand, intentionally concealing the screen, and did not verbally or visually disclose the total price before I tapped my UAE Visa card.
The exact second the receipt printed and revealed an unauthorized charge of nearly 15,000 AED, I immediately revoked the transaction and canceled the service on-site. The itemized invoice revealed absurd price gouging designed to exploit consumers, including a staggering 3,199 AED for a basic rapid strep test (which costs 300 AED at Saudi German Hospital) and an astronomical 4,500 AED for a Respiratory Panel by PCR (25) (market rate of 700–1,200 AED at local labs).
The merchant targeted my daughter, xxx xxx, an unemployed dependent tourist from the UK who was severely unwell and incapacitated by acute illness, isolating her in a separate room to get her signature while she lacked the physical and financial capacity to understand the transaction. The merchant actively concealed this document from me. When I demanded all paperwork on-site to execute the cancellation, they gave me the invoice copies but completely hid the existence of the separate 'consent form' and smuggled it off the premises. They only admitted a consent form existed and sent a copy on WhatsApp on August 31st at 5:55 PM, after I threatened legal action.
Furthermore, on August 31st at 3:05 PM, following my written demand for a refund copy, Care24 confirmed in writing on WhatsApp: 'Upon checking, it is already on process.' They then deceptively reversed their position at 4:01 PM to deny the refund. I request the DET to intervene immediately, audit these deceptive, predatory merchant practices, and compel Care24 to return my 14,797 AED for services that were canceled on the spot.

I read the other reviews after using Care24, and I see my experience was very similar to what others have had. I asked about the cost of a test that is advertised on their website, which is AED199. Knowing how things happen in the region, I specifically asked if that was the total cost.
I was not expecting a doctor and a nurse to arrive on my doorstep to conduct the test, which was absolutely not necessary. I soon realised that the whole object of the exercise was to sell me up into a batch of other tests.
The doctor also told me that the test I had asked for would not actually give me a good understanding of what was wrong with me and that only by having another test added, another AED499, could she give me a diagnosis. She also drew up another list of tests that she felt I should have that totalled close to AED5000.
I must say that at this stage I wanted to ask them to leave, as this is not my first rodeo with people who operate like this. I have, however, not been well for a while, so I agreed to the additional AED499 in addition to the AED199.
I got my first batch of results on Tuesday - just a laboratory report sent to me on WhatsApp - no explanation at all. On the report, there are figures in red which obviously indicate something is not within the normal range. I received the 2nd report in the same way, this time with a line - there are some variations in the results, and let us know if you would like to book a follow-up consultation with the doctor. Sure, what will that cost, and how is a short explanation, either in writing or by phone from the doctor, not included?
I have never had any tests done where I have just received the laboratory report with no explanation at all.
When I went back to the WhatsApp conversation with Care24, I realised that my earlier communication with them had been deleted.
I do not recommend Care24 at all; my experience was terrible.

Utterly disgusting - 100% SCAM - These people should be ashamed of themselves and more so the Dubai Health Association should close this company with immediate affect - its terrible that this exists in such a safe country.

The experience was smooth, clear, and easy to complete.

I found this company on Google while looking for a home visit doctor for ear pain. Before booking, I explicitly asked via WhatsApp: “Does the 250 AED fee include the ear cleaning?” Their answer: “Yes, absolutely included.” So I booked.

First visit.

The doctor arrives, prepares everything for the cleaning — medication in my ear, tools ready — and only at that exact moment informs me that the ear cleaning costs an extra 799 AED on top of the 250 AED we had agreed on in writing via WhatsApp. I refused. She proceeded with the cleaning anyway, then prescribed me CiproBay HC Otic ear drops. My condition worsened significantly over the following 24 hours.

Second visit.

I contacted them again the next day as my pain had increased. They insisted on another in-person visit. I confirmed the price beforehand — 250 AED consultation. A different ENT doctor arrived. She examined both ears, described my situation as extremely serious and urgent, and stated the infection would spread from my ears to my throat and then to my lungs. She then presented the following quote:

• Antibiotic: 750 AED
• Pain relief: 750 AED
• Antihistamine: 750 AED
• Anti-inflammatory: 750 AED
• Ear cleaning: 799 AED
• Bacterial culture from ear sample: 950 AED
• Respiratory panel: 2,999 AED

Total: approximately 7,750 AED. For an ear infection.

The respiratory panel alone — 2,999 AED — was presented as urgent and necessary for what was an ear canal inflammation. When I declined every item on the list, the doctor stopped the examination and issued no prescription whatsoever. The visit ended immediately upon my refusal to purchase any services.

The outcome.

I contacted my physician remotely, who prescribed Augmentin — a standard oral antibiotic available at any pharmacy. Within 12 hours of the first dose my symptoms improved significantly. Within 48 hours I had fully recovered.

My observation.

I work professionally in marketing and sales. The pricing structure, the timing of undisclosed costs, the urgency framing, and the immediate disengagement upon refusal are recognizable patterns. I will let readers draw their own conclusions.

I paid 500 AED across two visits and received no effective treatment from either. Check the other reviews on this page — the experiences described are remarkably consistent with mine.

Really bad experience. 199 for the doctor to come, first calculation when she was there was 4500. When I had to pay was 5500. I didn’t even really understand her.

Blood test results came in very fast next morning, getting the appropriate prescription from them literally took 10 hours! Received it 8pm the next evening.

Horrible, can’t recommend at all.

Twice Care 24 failed to arrive at the scheduled time. I cancelled the last appointment after waiting one and a quarter hours, which gave me no confidence in their cabability.
They need to get serious about their business.

Unreliable company. They want to overcharge with all kinds of tests and injections. They come 1.5 hours late and keep telling me they are on their way.

The company is a scammer overcharging over double and then try to make you do more exams and then injections that you don’t need just to make the bill bigger
