I am elderly and not very comfortable in using call chat. I spoke with Hayley and found her to be very polite, professional, concise and helpful which made the "call chat" and lot easier to deal will.

Telephoned CHEC to clarify a number of queries I had in respect of SMSs received. Requested a callback instead of having to stay on the line listening to (awful) "music" on hold. Tayyibah Patel - Patient Booking Coordinator - rang back in fairly short order. I didn't get a chance to put my queries as Tayyibah anticipated every single one of them, arranged the appointments to my satisfaction and sent further SMSs immediately by way of confirmation. Her manner was most pleasant and professional and I am most impressed by the service provided.

I was offered private treatment by the NHS in Worthing for gastroenterology. They advised that this would cover all tests consultations and necessary surgery. CHEC instructed their Worthing clinic to carry out one test only which proved clear.

The follow up was appalling and consisted of a phone call where I could barely understand the consultant and kept getting cut off.

CHEC then advised me that they did not have any gastroenterologists contracted where I lived and that I should be reffered back to the referer.

Had CHEC have been upfront in the first place that they were unable to provide the service, then no doubt the NHS would not have offered this to me.

I have just visited A and E where a doctor very swiftly diagnosed a blocked gallbladder. He was dumbstruck when I recited that in nearly two years no one has carried out the simple check of looking into my eyes to see that they were yellow.

I will raise a formal complaint about this; both with CHEC and the NHS.

Because CHEC erroneously discharged me following their lower GI investigation, the referring NHS trust has now removed me from their waiting list completely even though I have not yet seen a specialist for my upper GI, which was the request from my GP.

Great customer service! The lady I spoke to on the phone was an absolute gem. She was so helpful and managed to get back to me quickly after a mishap with the clinic. I really appreciated her kindness, efficiency and willingness to help. Thank you

I can’t rate CHEC highly enough, I’ve had problems in my ears for many years and finally feel since being referred to Mr El-Tabal and the team and Helen Holmes from patient care then I can have the care I’ve been seeking for many years.
