Very very bad
Advertised as the “most friendly waste disposal company” - couldn’t be further from the truth.
I organised and booked a grab lorry, advertised on their site as having availability for the following day. Although they were £150 more expensive than others, I was keen to get the waste removed ASAP. I called to verify the availability, which they did - so I proceeded to pay and book (23/05). It was early afternoon I decided to call Circle for an ETA on 23rd, I was categorically told the driver was on route and to expect him within the hour, I was told this multiple times. Toward the end of the day I called back and spoke to a different sales agent who advised I had been improperly informed and in fact, the waste booking was rescheduled for the following day. The exact same thing happened again. It wasn’t until 4 days after the expected collection date did someone turn up and remove the waste. I am self employed and this meant I had to be available all week, losing valuable earnings.
It was proposed by circle that they would investigate and organise compensation, however despite numerous attempts since this time, no solution has materialised. Mariya Bhana who was the main point of contact was especially unhelpful and rude.
AVOID - this company will cost you time, money and sanity.

Order wasn’t processed properly online. It took 2 days for them to confirm my order to then turn around and say it will be 2-3 days before skip delivery. I cancelled the order and phoned another firm who delivered the next day.

Ordered a skip canceled within 5mins full payment taken . No refund issued 5days later. Rang them after 30mins of on hold was told skip wasn't canceled funny how it never showed tho. Middle man company avoid
Utter shambles of a company
John Ellis says not as bad as some reviews make them out to be! Depends on your experience John.
We ordered a skip to arrive on a Monday and it never turned up due to driver going beyond their hours - fair enough. We phoned and were told we would be priority for Tuesday - again it never turned up. Circle had booked it in for Thursday in error. Despite this, we eventually received a skip on the Wednesday delivered by Murr Skip Hire. On the Thursday a man from Pocklington skip hire knocked at the door to deliver another skip. We advised him that there must have been a mistake as we'd received a skip the previous day. We phoned and asked what was going on and Circle apologised - fair enough. Fast forward to today and just a few hours after our skip had been collected, yet another man from this time Phillips Skip hire turns up to deliver another skip!! How difficult can it be to arrange the delivery of one skip on a prearranged date? Clearly when it comes to Circle Waste - very. Absolute embarrassment of a company.

I didn’t realise they were a 3rd party company either.. They farm the skip hire out to a local company. Driver informed me I would have saved £50 going direct..(sadly I wasn’t familiar with the area and local companies)

Despite promising a morning delivery on booking turned up at 2:30pm only to be told by another staff member we don’t give times out!

Worst customer service I have ever experienced.I tried to contact them about skip collection numerous times over a 2 week period and if i actually got threw they promised to arrange collection apparently a company came out but my car was slightly blocking my drive and didn’t contact me either on the day or the next day this was never mentioned to me.
I rang 4 times yesterday cut off twice finally got threw spoke to a guy who put me on hold then cut me off
Finally today I actually arranged pick up but had to pay £85 for wasted journey about pick up when driver didn’t bother contacting me

Circle waste are a third party company who deals with skip hire companies. I cannot get circle to answer the phone and neither can our garage doors contractor. Skip hire will not pick up until circle asks.
I am stuck with a skip which is a hazard to my children. Don't touch them 😤

wrote a review yesterday ,ordered a skip for about three weeks ahead ,and things beyond my control i had to cancel , did not realise that the full price was £300 she did not point this out to me ,thought i was ordering one that cosy £250 ,she did not point out that it was £50 for the vat on top ,cancelation cost was £60 . Looked on my statement and thought they had only charged me ten pound , i went back for another look and realised they had charged me £300 so i had been charged £60. I rang them and to be far they said they would refund the £60
,i pointed out that it could not have caused them that much trouble as it was so far ahead . when i printed the paper work i realised how very little could be put in the skip ,there was a long list

This company has incompetent staff I book twice from the skip but to call for collection they take forever you have to call everyday and staff who answer the phone are incompetent and are not helpful at all .

Not as bad as some reviews make them out to be. Friendly customer service, and after initial glitch ( I cancelled on a Saturday ) they sorted refund out promptly with no problems.

Was informed after booking that skip not available for following days, Wed, but only Friday. So that was disappointing but it is what it is.

Awful!! I booked the skip two days prior. Although you advert says next day skips?? Then I called on the morning of the due day and was told it was on for the drivers afternoon slot. When I called again at 2pm to get an ETA I was told it wasn’t going to be today it was going to be tomorrow. I asked to speak to a manager and was told that there was no one available. Will never use you again and will be tell everyone I know to steer well clear.

Nice staff, lousy company
Do not use this company if you're working to any kind of deadline.
We hired a skip for two weeks to be delivered to and left on our drive (behind locked gates). We were told that it would arrive between 8.00 and 12.00. It arrived at 7.25. OK, just a minor inconvenience and one that afforded the driver the less than glamorous sight of me still in my dressing gown.
The real problem was when it came to collection. The person I'd spoken to on the phone when I made the booking said that it would be collected on Thursday 15 August. This was perfect as we would be permanently vacating the property the following Tuesday and returning to Spain where we've lived for a number of years.
When it got to 15.00 and no one had called advising us of the collection time that Thursday, I phoned the company. The person I spoke to then said they had no vehicles in the area but it would be collected the next day or Monday morning at the latest. It wasn't.
On Monday afternoon I tried to phone the company again but evidently Monday is their busiest day and three separate attempts resulted in around 40 minutes of musak -- but no human operator.
I emailed the company explaining that we needed to have the skip gone by Tuesday lunchtime. No response.
On Tuesday morning, I phoned to company and, after only about 10 minutes on hold, got to speak to a person. She told me the skip was booked in for collection on Wednesday. She said I should have been advised at the time of booking that there could be up to five working days' delay in collection after the date quoted. I wasn't -- otherwise I would have clarified my situation at the time. Our travel dates were known to us months before we hired the skip.
Having lived abroad for many years, we have no friends in the area or neighbours whom we could trust to open the gates and admit the skip driver to the property, besides which, as the house has been sold, I'm not even sure that would be legal.
So we have had to hang around for an extra three days (no ferries from the UK to northern Spain available until then), miss the ferry we were supposed to be catching, and stay in a hotel as the house is no longer ours.
This skip that was supposed to cost us a little over £200? Well, what with the ferry we were unable to catch, the extra cost of rebooking (prices have gone up as it's now holiday time), and three nights in a hotel... we're around £1400 out of pocket -- plus the cost of the skip.
I would add that the drivers and people in the call centre are all very nice and helpful but that does not compensate for the overall incompetence of Circle Waste.
Possible interception of a legitimate business resulting i sales of service which was not wanted in the first place
Rang a local skip supplier and the call went straight through to circle waste , after some confusion about siting and ordering , I paid , only to discover after being sent an email that these were not the original company I had contacted, skip never showed up when it was supposed to and when I rang the original company who knew nothing , I learned i had been redirected and missold a more expensive and unnecessary skip.
on cancellation before the skip had even been delivered I was told that a £50 cancellation was unavoidable no matter what. terrible attitude and a complete con as I never contacted these people in the first place, based in England, they diverted me to a local number giving me the impression that I was calling the local firm, I had to cancel the order and the transaction , Shocking , especially as they knew an error was made and the least they could have done was give customer the benefit of the doubt, especially as no explanation could be given as to why I was diverted to them in the first place.
Can only put fresh air in the skip
Rang up for a skip a 2 yard one . They said they had one available . When it came to paying they only had a 4 yard one available. So when with that as I was desperate had to empty my house and garage as I had sold it . Told them I was putting garage rubbish in the skip and general household stuff . The skip cost me 222 pound . After this conversation they sent an email telling me what I could and couldn't put in the skip . It turned out that I could only put fresh air in the skip. Keep well away from these con artists.
Bet they they don't reply to this review because of the one star rating . Had to give them one star because there wasn't any minus ones
