The initial PoC made all the difference
The interactions with my initial PoC (Shayan) were flawless, prompt, and knowledgeable. Some initial hiccups wit the installation team though they did a good job in the end. Charger has been well installed and cable is hidden under the interlock tiles. As with every service there is something to improve, the internal communication l, if streamlined, would greatly improve the customer experience. The manual of the charger should be updated to reflect the correct app (CITA EV vs CITA connect). Overall a recommendable and certified installer for EV chargers in the UAE

Just to clarify, the user manual you received was part of the previous year’s hardware batch, which still mentioned the older application.
That app is no longer in use, and the updated version is the CITA EV App (available on both iOS and Android). All new chargers produced this year already come with the revised manual pointing to the correct app.

They have put a lot of work into getting the scheduled charge sorted ,and it now has .Maybe the App migration should not have taken place without the scheduled charge aspect being looked ar first .

RECOMMENDED! Previously I had my EV charger on plug and play. I was contacted by the CITA team who informed me about the app features, and who then came and helped me set up my charger and app. Using the charger online completely changed the experience. Being able to connect the RFID cards, and track and schedule my usage is great, and the CITA team made sure to explain all possible features.

Amazing service by the sales and support team. Mr Haider went through the complete specs of the charger with me and provided support in identifying the right charger for me. He even followed up after the installation to make sure there were no issues. Very happy with the service and installation.

Well where do we start - Cita EV
Well where do we start
The product would probably work fine if you didn't have to use their poor quality app, the app is very cheaply put together and that's why it constantly fails if you can get the charger to work 2/3 days in a row you are doing well, they have no UK support or engineers so any issues and that's it, it cannot be fixed, currently still not charging and we are on to day 7, charger is now being ripped out and replaced by a more quality reliable product

The hardware itself was not the root cause - the problems came from the app migration and backend updates we recently carried out. These changes were designed to make the platform more reliable long term, but for some customers like yourself, the transition was far from smooth, and I fully understand how frustrating that must have been.
We’ve been working on strengthening the app, servers, and overall connectivity so that reliability improves across all models. On top of that, we’re also expanding our UK technical support team to ensure issues can be resolved locally and quickly.
