I found clan.com had a Gillis tartan, the name of my mother's family. I knew it would be a wait which Hamish get me aware of. I have ordered items from them and knew the quality was worth waiting for. When it arrived, I put the kilt on, and my wife commented on how well it fit. The fabric is beautiful. When people ask for a recommendation in buying a kilt, I always suggest clan.com.

The plaque is beautiful exactly what I was looking for.

We ordered a hard to come by festive family tartan for our wedding and we were so impressed by the quality of the fabric and the communication from the team.

Do not use this company. Appalling service. Order placed 27/11/22. Still not arrived 8/2/23. Refusing to refund my card. Continually stall when enquiries made. Originally told items could be classed as missing after 30 working days and now told I am unable to claim

They’re always so helpful and good quality products especially for what you pay for. They’re also always so easy to talk to and the products always come quickly too.

I wrote a seething review ( at a bad time for me) that wasn't really fair to clan.com. I didn't get my package because of the shipper, not the sender. They recovered my package and I AM pleased with my order. I did have to wait a couple months, though. I wanted to order fabric for my granddaughter's wedding and now it's too late. But the swatch is so beautiful! Great quality too.

Hamish was extremely helpful to work with and arranged to get my order halfway round the world to me with a very quick turnaround. Product quality was excellent, and I was very happy the end results. Would happily choose to use them again.

It was only a small present for Christmas but I was disappointed to learn that due to manufacturing issues, I would not receive it in time. I was offered a full refund which I accepted and was going to reorder in the New Year.
Imagine my surprise and delight when a courier delivered the parcel on Christmas Eve!

Really efficient & rapid service. Great choice of even rare tartans.
Overseas postage & customs were very high but as I needed the item in a hurry, I accepted that.

I bought a Clan Tube Scarf as a present. Probably the worst online purchase I have ever made.
The ends look like they've been cut with garden shears
The pattern seam is way out
the ends are frayed
The weight of the material is so light you can fold it into a large postage stamp size
This was meant to be a present, frankly I would be too embarassed to give it.
The company refused to give a refund.
Maybe some of their products are ok, but any company that stocks such inferior products is in my opinion to be avoided.
You have been warned.
£20+ in the bin - disgraceful

The company's reply really sums them up. They're basically saying their own product is junk. Incidentally, the reason why the product curls at the edges is because it's paper thin polyester. Read the other reviews of this product and you'll see they all say the same.
I repeat you have been warned - avoid this company.

I ordered 3 scarves that eventually arrived in the US after being held up by problems with the Royal Mail. My email inquiries about delivery were responded to in a friendly and prompt manner. It was easy and pleasant to work with the staff at this company and I would recommend their products and service. Just allow for possible extended delivery times for non-Scotland addresses.

Customer service was very engaged and responsive as we worked to find inventory that would fit my needs. Once i received the product in the US, the tartans were of fantastic quality and exactly what i had hoped for.

I ordered a scarf tube and accepted the description of the item on the product page, but did not expect the the appaling standard of both ends of the scarf tube, neither had been cut straight or even close to being straight, in fact my 5yr old daughter could have cut both ends straighter, asked for a refund due to the terrible standard of workmanship but was refused, will not be buying or recommending this firm to anyone, wish I could upload photo's so you can see the appaling standard of these tube scarfs

This company did their best to get my order out quickly despite the challenges of the holiday's and an impending strike - I will order from them again!

Brilliant! My clan plaque arrived today and I am so over the moon with the final result. Hand made and finished with an elegant touch, it will be a fantastic Christmas present for my father.

Ordered a tartan sash for a Burns supper, they had my family tartan and I was able to order it very quickly and easily. Good quality product.

Ordered a tarten cashmere scarf as a gift for my partner mother in Poland. It was a bit of a late idea but Hamish and team scrambled to make sure it arrived in time for our flight out. Gorgeous quality item. Perfect gift handmade in Scotland by traditional craftsmen!

Paid £132 for x6 'tube scarves'
- hems mismatch; cheap material
- colours not as advertised
- and cut in a ragged uneven line

Would be utterly embarrassed to give as a gift.

Total junk.
