This workshop has completely transformed by standard math 3 class. I am now having students actively engaged in the learning process.

There are some great ideas in Math Wars and have really helped to get students more engaged! We do not do it everyday but the kids have enjoyed it and I have noticed more engagement from students who aren't normally engaged.

Your strategies were simple but useful. Your session was interactive and allowed participants to digest the information while relating to it.

The Math Wars workshop helped me finally feel optimistic about getting students to engage more with the math content and help students that are struggling. I'm so excited to put what I learned into action and hoping to see improved learning results.

I love the Courage to Risk conference! So much good stuff! The only 'complaint' I have is some sessions are more for teachers who are just getting into trauma-informed schools, and don't get into real applications. This session was ALL about concrete tools and applications we can immediately use in the classroom! Thank you so much for the great ideas to make math more accessible for all, and getting ALL students involved in every class! Great job! Best session of the weekend!

Great resource and it came at just the right time when I was on the search for something new for my classroom.

I recently switched schools and roles and have started the year feeling lost and confused on how to get those that struggle EXCITED about math. I have never been more excited and confident in implementing something in my classroom as I am about math wars!

My co-teacher and I have seen such a significant decrease in those helpless handraisers! Our test scores are already higher. We are planning to go back and re-teach the previous material using Math Wars. Our students are responding so well. They seem much more positive in class and there is less and less push back to complete work.

Love this strategy! Participation is way up in all of my classes. I plan on rewatching the training videos in order to glean even more tips now that I have been using it for a rew weeks.

Julianna is very responsive to questions. She makes life easier for teachers and helps them get workshops paid for by their schools.

I recently attended a session with Juliana at the Make Math Moments Summit and, as always, it was incredible! Juliana has great experiences to back up her work and every time I attend a session with her I learn something new. Also, she is great about keeping her sessions within the time allotted (we even had time for bonus info!) which is huge when attending a conference with so many other sessions. Overall, I highly recommend attending a session or webinar with Juliana to hear what she has to share!!

Juliana Tapper cares about every student in her classroom! In her recent math session for teachers that I attended, she provided the road map to a successful intervention math classroom in which math students below grade level are engaged in math. C.A.R.E.S. explains everything that she does so well: (1) Classroom culture, (2) active participation, (3) readily accessible content, (4) engaging activities, and (5) simple & equitable assessment. Peer/teacher support is available which makes this PD very amazing! I highly recommend Juliana Tapper's CollaboratEd Consulting and any of her math PD workshops!

Recorded presentations are great for watching on your own time. I implemented the Math Wars strategies this year as I have an intervention class for the first time ever. I appreciated all the specific examples given, invitation to the Facebook group, and warm up samples. So far, so good, and I know I can ask Juliana if I need support.

I signed up for the Math Wars workshop right before school started. The videos were easy to understand and made implementation effortless. I've been using it for a few weeks now and my students LOVE it. I have seen improvement in their basic skills as well.

Honestly worth every penny! Juliana is so thoughtful and well-researched in her recommendations. Everything is super applicable and ALL about what is best for the students. This workshop changed how I approach assessment and building class culture. She holds nothing back and is so supportive and encouraging.
