I moved U.K to AUSTRALIA 🇦🇺 and the U.K. side were thorough, helpful, professional, 100% respectful and caring with my things. It was a partial shipment, so a shared container. I was told it landed on Oz shores in early February but didn’t receive it until late April and had to pay an extra $400+ to have customs release granted. Communication were poor after Trina left and I had to chase updates on multiple occasions! Delivery guys were friendly but didn’t help their bodies re health & safety and didn’t use the hydraulic lift at all. Dropped a container of antique glassware marked FRAGILE 🥺🫠… happy to FINALLY have my stuff, 5 months after sending it.

We used Conroys for our Gold Coast move and my parents Gold Coast move. My parents had their things taken in 2 trucks and put in storage for a few weeks at Conroys depot in Ipswich. When the items were delivered many things were missing. When questioned, the staff member advised that there was nothing more in the storage unit. All their personal belongings, photo albums, historical family tree information, clothes, crockery, kitchen utensils and some electronic devices gone. Conroy employees are thieves, they took advantage of 2 old people on day of uplift and stole from them plain and simple. I lodged a complaint that went nowhere. My parents called Conroy many times only to be told very abruptly there was nothing they could do and to call the police. My mother is heartbroken that her memories are probably in landfill somewhere once the Removalist’s realized there was nothing of real value. The removal for my own goods was no better, many items damaged, mirror broken, fridge dented, cupboards with chips out of them. They didn’t store things in trucks carefully with blankets as buffers to prevent damage. They put a hole in the wall at new property and scratched timber floors dragging furniture around. It took over three months and countless phone calls to have them send their repair man to fix wall. I was even told by one of their own staff that they are nothing but “lying bastards”. Would never recommend Conroy removals or use them again. If I could give no stars I would.

I have had a wonderful experience with Conroy Removals Australia. Their Communication, Information about the process and final delivery was outstanding.
Will definitely use Conroy again.

Only 1 person sent to pack house, 2nd day everyone rude and frustrated.
Absolutely no communication about where our container is at, delays and delivery date. All it takes is a phone call but I had to chase for all updates.
Picked up November, still not delivered in at end of February! Advised 2 months and its been close to 4 months, wirh no confirmation of day and time of unpacking.
The only great service was sales and after you've signed the dotted line no one wants to own communication or answers that you have.
We went over to Australia with crown, cant fault them but we've discovered you get what you pay for -which is lower cost for delayed goods, no communication and no one cares because you pay on the day of uplift!

Excellent efficient service

This was our second time using Conroys to move. Nici was my first contact and helped us with a very complicated situation concerning our move keeping in constant contact throughout. The removalists were prompt, quick and friendly and Conroys would definitely be the first people I contact if I need to move again.

I contacted Conroy by online searching. I received helpful, courteous and timely service. I needed to juggled pick up from me and delivery to my daughter in Brisbane. All was achieved without any issues. The people I dealt with were helpful and friendly. It was all done in a timely manner.

I had a good experience in using Conroy Removals - they provided constant updates and were helpful with filling in custom forms, etc. I only had one box moving back from the UK and they made it an easy process!

Very happy with all aspects on Conroy Removals, from the original quotes to pick up, storage and delivery.
Office staff and removalists were all friendly and attentive.

My personal effects left UK courtesy of 1st Move International who engaged Conroy Removals Brisbane for the final part of the journey. Conroy Removals kept me updated throughout the ship's arrival, customs clearance and delivery arrangements.  I was very impressed with the speed with which my personal effects were delivered to me after they were released by Customs. The delivery team were both friendly and efficient.  Thank you for making this part of my move a stress free experience. 

"Your delivery is prepaid to normal access only. Normal access is to ground or first floor above via 1 set of stairs only (elevators are excluded).

Based on the information provided for your delivery residence, it is outside the normal access terms and is what we class as difficult access.

This incurs a additional fee which is based on the size of your shipment. The additional fee for your size shipment is $150.00."

The above three paragraphs are taken from an email I received prior to my goods being delivered. I live on the top floor of a seven storey unit block. Access is really simple & the two lovely delivery guys had no trouble whatsoever in bringing the six boxes up to my unit via the elevator. When I told them I had to pay an extra $150.00 for the privilege, they were quite frankly astonished. As a result I have only given a three star review as I do not like being ripped off to the tune of $150.00! And that's in addition to the $442.00 I had to pay for the quarantine & customs clearance fees! The rest of the service was quite adequate.

Thanks Abbin Abraham for easing the process of moving our things from Auckland to Perth. Your patience and awesome customer service made our move (12 boxes in total) easy and stress-free. I would also like to mention Rachel Wallace in the Auckland shop, great communicator on the phone and in person. The boxes have arrived on time and in great condition.

Everything arrived in good condition. I picked up from their office in Melbourne. There was a delay probably due to new year holidays, but not much.
