It has been a week and no response from…

It has been a week and no response from movee or movee buddy. We are still waiting for all our furniture to be assembled. They damages our furniture stolen items and left without completing the job. Inspections are happening at the old place without items being moved. We still have no bed to sleep on as the bed was dismantled and the drivers did a runner after demanding money paid upfront . By 6.30 pm we transferred the money and the drivers with the help of management namely Andrew and Urvasi ran off without completing the job. We have escalated the complaint to consumers Victoria and awaiting response. Its been a week since I left the first review and their response was that the job was completed. We had to sleep in a hotel rather than our new home as we had no bed to sleep on. Disgusting and this company should not be used by anyone. Please be aware. How do u treat another human this way?We are not boxes you move around. We have feelings. Hang on. I wouldn't even trust u to move a box cos you would damage them and they have feelings too. Shame on movee and everyone involved in your company

Fraudulent Cowboys

Never use these cowboys they are frauds. They quoted me $72.50 every half an hour with a minimum of 2 hours. For a washing machine to be picked up from Taren Point to Penshurst. I gave them a deposit which was meant to be $50 they withdrew $51.
On the day I obtain an invoice which totalled $469.99..
they further charged my credit card another $169.99 without my authorisation. They kept my credit card on file which is illegal.
I’m now having to chase them through my bank to try and get a refund as it’s fraud. I have had to further cancel my card.
These arss holes are fraudulent NEVER USE them save yourself a head ache.

Scammers

Scammers – Scammers! Unprofessional and irresponsible. Absolutely shocking experience. The entire service felt unprofessional, irresponsible, and deeply concerning from start to finish.

Work was outsourced to individuals with absolutely zero experience, raising serious concerns about competence, quality, and accountability. It was alarming to see what seemed like a complete lack of proper standards, oversight, or verification of who was actually carrying out the work.

At multiple points, it felt as though basic professional and ethical expectations were ignored. The overall approach came across as careless and unacceptable, especially given the level of trust customers are expected to place in this service.
The experience was extremely frustrating and disappointing.
I would strongly caution others before engaging.

Finally have a court date to deal with…

Finally have a court date to deal with these cowboys
We have had no correspondence for over a month as they were hoping we would go away. Well, guess what Movee we are still here and cannot wait to have our day in court and it is going to be expensive for you.
Should have looked after us when we first raised the issue of damaged goods and very poor customer service and by the way TV reporters will be there to as they are doing a story on your company

1) As per the terms and conditions provided in your booking confirmation, any damages must be reported within 7 days of the move. Since your move took place on January 9, 2026, your first contact on January 23 was already well outside this timeframe.
2) We did revert to your email on February 24 to clarify these terms; however, we received no further response from your end following that communication
We maintain that our actions have remained consistent with the agreed-upon terms of service.

NEVER NEVER use this company

NEVER NEVER use this company . They are liars and fraudsters . the first lot of subcontractors they sent had the wrong info . No tools to remove my tv from a wall bracket and they had been told it was a a very small move which it wasn't so they were booked by the company for 3pm - far too late . ( I had booked for the morning and they changed me to the afternoon at the last minute .)
S o there I was stuck without a bed and all my belongings in a mess and NOT MOVED > next day they sent another lot and the exact same thing happened . They were not briefed and told it was a small job so they also did not want to do the job . SO LEFT AGAIN NO MOVE NO BED NO PLACE _ Seriously disrupted . WAs there any apology ? NO way ! In fact they abused me and then TOOK AN UNAUTHORISED WITHDRAWAL FROM MY CREDIT CARD - THE DETAILS OF WHICH THEY HAD ILLEGALLY KEPT - $ 280 they took from me as some sort of ridiculous cancellation fee . then the next day a withdrawal. was made from a company I have never heard of and have no dealings with and as NO ONE has my credit card details it has got to be them
They took exactly 170 that time so a total of $450 the exact amount they threatened to charge me the first time I tried to cancel ...coincidence ?
I dont think so !!!! MOVEE - they are scammers
and the WORST company I have ever dealt with by far "
AND TERRIBLE movers - left me for 2 nights homeless
and have stolen $450 from me as well

STAY AWAY PLZ - FAKE BUSINESS IN INDIA

I had an extremely distressing experience with this removalist company and strongly advise others to avoid them.

They cancelled my booking without any prior notice, leaving my pregnant wife and me completely stranded on moving day with no time to arrange an alternative.

After repeatedly calling to chase them up, a removalist finally arrived at 3:15pm—despite being scheduled for 10:30am.

The situation only got worse from there. They held my furniture hostage until payment was made, which felt like outright blackmail. To make matters worse, funds were deducted from my account without my knowledge or consent.
I later discovered that this is not a legitimate local business. Despite claiming to be based in Melbourne, it appears to be operated offshore with telemarketers misrepresenting their location. I was also informed that the removalist who showed up had not even been paid by them.

I have reported this company to the NSW Ombudsman and strongly believe they are not a legitimate business and are taking advantage of everyday customers.

Getting spammed everyday since requesting a quote

I submitted one quote request online and have since received 5 emails, 4 texts, and 8 phone calls from different people at the company (mind you - with no voicemails). This is spamming my inbox and phone and absolutely not the sort of company I would trust to handle my move if they can’t even get their quote system sorted.

Beware the hidden fees and charges...this mob are shonks

The contracted removalist was quite good...the Movee account people were quite possibly the biggest shonks I have dealt with in years...beware their hidden fees and charges and then constant phone bombardment.
Go direct to the removalists.

Hidden fees, overcharges and inexperienced movers

Quoted price doesn’t compare to actual price, lots of hidden fees. After move, was sent 1 invoice, charged at a higher price then that invoice, then sent another invoice at the higher price that included an extra hour that didn’t occur. After submitting my proof, was promised a small refund for the extra hour charged, which with over a month of waiting, I still haven’t gotten. In addition to this overcharge, it was like the movers were deliberately trying to make the clock tick over, they were also clearly inexperienced, unsure how to pack things into the truck and climbing all over my belongings.
$750 total for a two hour move from storage unit to garage, 12kms, with no packing or unpacking. Deposit is an additional cost.
Wouldn’t recommend.

Wouldn't recommend to anyone

Very disappointing experience. We got a message on the moving day that they would get to our house around 8:00am. Time went by and we heard nothing. We tried to get hold of customer support and eventually got through to someone who said the movers were in an accident. We were understanding but asked for some information as we needed to move that day, the person on the line said that they would be in touch soon. Once again, we received no news and kept calling and emailing and trying to get in touch. Eventually they arrived at 16:30.
The next day, we emailed the company and sent a time stamped record of all of our attempts at communication and how things were handled- all we got was a polite "We're sorry that was your experience" response. Definitely won't be recommending this company to anyone because communication was severely lacking and management made little to no attempt to rectify the situation.
We understand that things can happen, but having no communication with anyone in the company for hours on end is not acceptable. The company's handling of the move made an already stressful day even worse.
Also, VERY CONCERNING, they keep your banking details after you pay the deposit, so they are able to debit whatever amount they choose.

Original booking wasn’t on time so had to reschedule to following day which thankfully was ok for all & easily done.

Guys that turned up the next day were great & all went smoothly.

Movee removalist.

The guys, Sam & Karl, were amazing. They were fast efficient and polite and friendly. They went out of their way to help me with my move. The back of house team were also very helpful and polite. I will definitely be using them in the future. I can't speak highly enough of them.
