Haven't got the shed yet but had amazing support by phone and email, I was able to share information ( disciptons, messurments and photos) received good advice and guidance and was able to order exactly the shed I need with no heavy sales reps extras. Very happy

Thank you to Crane Garden buildings for being so communicative and keeping to their schedule as my father in law is 89 years young and I live 300 miles away but I didn’t need to worry as they had everything under control. I spoke to a really lovely lady in your office (I’ve forgotten her name) because my father in law was on holiday when the first deposit was due but she told me not to disturb him on holiday and he could pay a few days late, this is excellent customer service.From start to finish the team always had his best interests at heart and the summerhouse looks perfect in the garden, everyone he dealt with has been courteous and helpful and very professional as well as cleaning up afterwards so you would never know the installation team had been! I will gladly recommend Cranes to my all friends.

From the very start when I discussed having a garden office/summer house I was impressed with the help that Tim gave me at the Lewes branch of Crane in the Goldcliff Garden Centre. I did change my mind a few times and Crane were very patient and understanding and went over things several times to reassure me. Jess in the office has been extremely helpful and understanding and Tim came twice to visit the garden to check sizes.
The base was laid very efficiently by Roger and Charlotte - a huge task to have completed so thoroughly all in one day, and then the summer house was erected by Craig and his colleague. They were also extremely helpful and the finished result is the most stunning building – it has exceeded my expectations, and I have nothing but praise for Crane – the service, the product and the efficient way that everything has been handled. It’s a really beautiful building – thank you so much.

Saw Crane sheds at a Hilliers garden centre - they looked great. There are onsite advisors. All sheds are custom made in Norfolk. We designed the shed via the website - easy to use. We could choose door position, window style & colour plus a workbench, even for the "basic" shed.
Crane customer service team and the designers at Isleworth have all been great. Installation of concrete base and delivery of the shed are faster than expected.
It's more expensive than other suppliers but a stylish and classy product - and a long term investment for our garden.

I was looking at a beautiful ex display greenhouse at the Brampton Garden Centre. Whilst the price is certainly premium, the quality knocked the socks off anything else i've looked at. And the service from Anna was second to none. She asked me lots of questions which was really useful and meant that I knew delivery and installation would have gone smoothly, and all the accessories and options were exactly to my requirements. She couldn't have been more helpful or attentive.

Unfortunately, i've decided my garden is too small for it 😭but I will certainly buy from them in the future (next house!).

All very impressive to start with. When we bought our shed less than five years ago they didn’t offer the length of warranty they do now. Already leaking in several places. Door lock is rusted and gutttering is so poorly fitted it’s falling apart. We paid thousands and it definitely wasn’t worth it. We asked if they could repair it but as we’re in Wilts’, we’d have to pay for hotel accommodation for repair team as well as the repair fee. They said it simply wouldn’t be worth it, how right they are.

The experience we had at Cranes was first class. Both Jess and Chloe were extremely helpful, understanding of our requirements and were also very friendly and courteous. We would have no hesitation in recommending them to future clients

Crane is generally easy to deal with -- the people are all pleasant and efficient. The sales process went fine but then I had to demolish the old shed and clear the site. I got that done but was quite uncertain about the process of laying the concrete base which Crane were doing too. What wasn't clear and caused anxiety was not being sure what exactly they were going to do.
Having seen the process I still have some qualms which are worth spelling out.
1. They didn't do any ground preparation so that's all down to the customer -- levelling, clearing and compacting.
2. They used decking boards as a form for the concrete. These were pegged into the ground and then left in place afterwards. They say that they are treated but I'm not convinced that they will last as they are in contact with the ground. They do provide an attractive appearance initially though.
3. No rebar or metal reinforcement was used. Instead, some glass fibre was put into the mix to give the concrete resilience against cracking. Time will tell if that's good enough.
4. The concrete was not covered and no instructions given about watering it during the curing period. My understanding is that concrete takes weeks to cure fully and is best kept damp throughout. I covered it with a polythene sheet during the curing period and this worked out well as it also kept the surface clean from garden debris.
So, having taken extra care, the base worked out well and the assembly of the shed went quite smoothly. It looks fine now and I've painted the base boards and the floor joist exterior with wood preservative to give them extra protection. But I'm not convinced that it will last as long as the previous shed which had a foundation of hard core and concrete base inside a brick surround. That lasted reasonably well for 50 years or so.
Another option they provide, which I didn't explore is having a metal frame base. I still don't understand the pros and cons of this.
So, my advice is to go into these issues well in advance if you want a solid foundation which will last for many years.

Richard was excellent and if I’d had any doubts about dealing with the company his competence and professionalism made me confident to continue. He asked me what I planned to store in my shed and we discussed position and dimensions in detail. Also he gave me some good advice regarding external lighting. He listens - very important. .Am looking forward to the installation of my shed

Great customer service. Tim really helped us with our choice of building and made the process a pleasure.

Our initial discussions with Esther at the Nottingham site were and continue to be very helpful. No pushy sales operation in play and whilst the garden buildings seem quite expensive, they appear to be well constructed and as described 'on the label'. We have yet to take delivery and installation of our chosen build but Esther is keeping in touch to ensure our specific requirements are met. Once installed we will be happy to provide a follow up review.
