I have reported something and created an account to wait for updates. The account didn’t work anymore the following day as it says that the password was wrong. So many users are having the same issue I can read here, so I don’t understand, why don’t they fix this problem?

It would be also worth to know if the report sent is actually sent to law enforcement or discarded directly from Crimestopper volunteers for any reason… at least people won’t write here that nothing is being done by YOU, if they know that you have sent it to the police… since the responsibility of “doing nothing” won’t be in you…

The police asked for information about the incident. I gave information that may be related to the incident. A couple of hours later I got this: "Your login attempt was not successful"

Nothing happens. I've been giving information about a Nazi who is threatening to hurt people, owns weapons and he is ongoing. Nothing has been done, and he is continuing to do that.

Utterly pointless. I have been told the Police are too busy to bother with any of the information submitted. I’ve been giving intel on a drug dealer for a year now and still nothing has been done.

What a waste of time, why even bother to volunteer to do this service. Tried to report police corruption and they can do nothing, they can only report this to the police who Im making a report against and as expected get no reply. They even ask for a donation on their website, donation for what ? Not even worth one star.

It is the Police Standards Department that are also corrupt, they refuse to reply to my accusations and my extremely good evidence, no Hampshire police department will reply, all corrupt with no one to report them too, this is why I went to crime stoppers and you can do nothing, the Police Standards Department have no standards, they all stick together covering up each other’s crime. Please allow me to send my extremely good evidence to crime stoppers, you will probably not allow me, bloody disgusting. My evidence will take no longer than one hour for you to look and listen to as most of my evidence consists of voice recordings. I have the name and evidence against the man behind all this corruption which is why I get NO replies

An ineffectual service for genuine conscientious people. You might as well ring the police direct. But you have to get yourself mentally ready for that. I understand why they have such a poor rating.

Absolute waste of time. Reported an assault, and opted to keep in touch with them & then tried to log in into the portal & the repsonse was "Your login attempt was not successful".

Waste of time; the website didn’t even allow me to say what was the crime. It’s the only reporting site worse than Met Police.

Waste of time. Files several reports of persistent drug related issues and not a damn thing has happened in over a year.

Absolute waste of time. Reported a guy for having guns & knives!! The unfriendly arrogant, couldn’t care less moron on the phone, didn’t even ask for the guys address. Maybe when someone is shot or stabbed by this guy something will be done, or maybe not!!!

Gave info, 2 was arrested - one remanded - caught with a large amount of class A, the other person was in court last week, No reward !! so promise of a reward is a lie, all ths happened months ago- still no reward

If I could give it zero I would absolute waste of time!! Sent from all the information about a person how is under the influence of drugs at work times there are there reg etc waste of time!

They are a charity, So there will be a few volunteers Sat trying to do everything

Who are these clowns! Make the Police look good and that's saying something. Unhelpful, unfriendly, uncooperative.

If they ceased to exist nobody would miss them.

Twice now I’ve reported a situation and opted for the keep in contact option where they give you a username. Both times I was unable to log in with this username and my password just a couple of days later to check if there were any questions or updates.

The website has drop down menus that do not cover all crimes
I had a serious crime to report which started in 2022 but the date drop down menu does not allow for the date to be put in manually. Also other drop down menus are not giving the correct information

I have just read the answer to my review. The fact that it has taken SIX months to receive any reaction from the police says it all about the standards our police force gives its citizens.
With regard to the telephone number I have a hearing defect so my ability to use a telephone is extremely limited. So where to those with disabilities go?

Spoke to a lady on the phone about a situation that was happening on my street and was abruptly cut off and she hung up on me as I was still talking, extremely rude and disgusting

I called today regarding my reward code and the guy started explaining me what the reward code is. I interrupted him twice and explained him that I wanted to know about the reward code given to me 4 months ago. He checked and said- sorry No reward. I explained him that I had given a correct information and not only that I had directly contacted cops and provided them the images of the same incident. His reply was that police decision is final and we can't do anything. We are a very busy charity. I am feeling very disappointed by the way he was in hurry to put down the phone and all the information I had given was of no use. I don't think I will be bothered to contact them again. The way he said "we are a very busy charity" I want to ask him if he thinks people who call have so much free time to hold for 50 minutes and report a crime? I think it's time we should stop calling them to help them. It's not worth it. In place of a Thanks if we are shown arrogance and rude behaviour then what's the point?

What an AWFUL woman with a London accent on the phone after queuing for 1/2 hour. I described my situation and she had no sympathy or empathy for what we're going through and was completely disinterested, she talked over me!! questioned how this was affecting my health telling me it couldn't possibly be!! and if so, how could it be?!! (knowing NOTHING about me other than what I'd told her - but even then there was STILL no empathy), she told me there's nothing anyone could do over and over. So negative, telling me there's no point in writing to your MP he won't be able to do anything, even though I had told her he said he would, what a horrible person, what a wonder it is that she is working for somewhere like this!. We will complain officially and I will NEVER use them again. I wish I had read these terrible reviews before calling them! Absolutely useless as an organisation, we have contacted them before via the web and they were awful then, but as that was only one experience so I let it 'slide' - but today... good God, it could not have been any more terrible. It was like a standard operating procedure for delivering the WORST possible customer service one possible could and how to be the worst form of unempathetic, unsympathetic and nasty person as possible! she was truly awful. I said thank you for your help and she 'right' and hung up on me!
