Just booked more rental. They are great and no 100 dollar minimum to rent like Adorama. The others will charge u 100 $ for a 45 & piece Csi is way to go

This honestly is a terrible site and terrible for renting..m the whole process is stupid .. I tried to rent a lens and was getting an error saying my billing address did not match what I was putting down when trying to complete these payment side of things ..m I must have tried like 5 times and it was always the same error ... my billing info was always the same ... there is no one to talk to and I understand we are in a pandemic but there should be more transparency and consistency... I am so frustrated I dont even want to deal with csi

In the past month, I've rented from CSI three times. The second and third rentals went perfectly smoothly.

The first was a fine business transaction, however, the Zacuto rig that was provided was either in desperate need of repair, or was just a piece of junk (either could be the case, but I suspect the former). The handheld grips could not be locked, and would become loose during normal operation. The tightening levers didn't ratchet, and couldn't be tightened beyond a certain point which was insufficient. And the screws which held the entire assembly together were either some strange size which was neither metric nor standard, or were stripped beyond usefulness. It was difficult to operate with grips which would suddenly become loose, sending the camera lurching around on my shoulder.

Usually I prefer to have an AC do checkout on all gear to make sure it operates, but this wasn't that kind of job, so in some ways, this is on our producers. Still, it would be good to know that y'all are testing out the builds to make sure the gear works.

Mark at the Manhattan CSI has been friendly and helpful every time I stop in. CSI has been come through providing excellent service and flexibility while delivering the equipment we need.

I’d love to give CSI a 5-star review as my first review, but the pick up was nearly 1.5 hour late. This delayed the set up of my shoot, resulting in stress and made the shoot wrap late.

I understand that there was a holiday, however, if there is an option for an 8am pick up and the order is not ready for over an hour after the scheduled pick up, it affects me as professional bc I have a shoot to deal with, a client to tend to and a full team to be accountable to.

As my first time renting with CSI, I was not pleased with the delay, nor was I happy with the way the way the delay was handled by CSI employees. I certainly shouldn’t be blamed for the back up in orders.

I am coming to NYC for a one day shoot and Mark at CSI helped me prepare for everything. Thorough and thoughtful service was provided with all the details covered. I am very appreciative for the support.

The gear is always in great condition and they are quite pleasant folks. Been working with Beth for years now and she's never let me down.
