Always great service from CSI!

We usually rent via Adorama Rental Company or KitSplit.

PROS: ARC doesn't allow combining of invoices if you make multiple rentals back-to-back (CSI helped us immensely on this!). ARC delivery was ten times (not exaggerating) what the delivery was from CSI, and the volume and weight of equipment we were quoted was smaller at ARC vs CSI. Very friendly customer service (in-person, by email, by phone) and simple process.

CONS: their website doesn't always have accurate on-hand counts for equipment, as we realized when we submitted an order for additional equipment, were sent an invoice, and were later told it wasn't available (after we called to check hours later).

I love renting from CSI rentals! They have a varied range of camera and lighting gear. Their online booking system is SO easy and user friendly even on weekends and after-hours. Great customer service and the equipment is in very good condition. I would highly recommend CSI rentals.

Terrible experience, when I came to photoshoot I realized that I was provided with 2 dead batteries so entire photoshoot screwed. Normally I was booking with adorama before and everything was smooth, due to Holidays Adorama was closed and I decided to try CSI rentals. I would not recommend. It is terrible attitude when customer gets dead batteries, time and money wasted. Would not recommend.

First time we used the rental service and literally needed items within several hours on the day of. CSI delivered ON TIME and picked up seamlessly SAME DAY.

The staff is kind & goes above and beyond to help you. I will always use them. This is referring to the Brooklyn staff but I’m sure the same goes for Manhattan

I have NEVER rented heating equipment from a company before, so I wasn’t sure what to expect, or even what I needed for my specific application. I’m such a novice, I wasn’t even sure how to go about actually getting it. After a quick, random search, I found CSI RENTALS on line and gave them a call. Right away, the young lady who answered my call was courteous, friendly and super-SUPER knowledgeable! She pointed me in the right direction of the equipment I needed with incredible ease, and patiently explained the process of how I could place a rental order via their website.

Once my rental order was placed, the ease, convenience, and courteousness of this company only continued! I immediately got a phone call from a friendly company rep confirming that the equipment I was renting would indeed be delivered at the time I requested. He explained that delivery would occur once I submitted payment (which I was still in the process of doing, but had not completed). When I concluded my phone call with the company rep, I went right back to preparing my required paperwork for rental payment (copies of my credit card, government ID, and proof of address).

Several minutes later, the phone rang again with a call from the same company rep. He told me that my rental would actually be delivered EARLIER than I requested because of my close proximity to their Brooklyn location. Wow!! I thanked the rep, and hurried off the phone to finish preparing my payment paperwork. Just as I had completed the paperwork and was ready to submit, my doorbell rang, interrupting me! “Darn! Now who could THAT be?!” , I wondered. When I answered the door, I was shocked and pleasantly surprised to see that it was the CSI RENTALS equipment deliveryman (smiling and seemingly not at all disturbed by the BRUTAL 19 degree arctic chill temperatures and high winds raging outside! ). He had the heater I had rented, and even offered a “Happy New Year” just before departing!

Now remember: I was only a second or two away from actually submitting my rental payment. So, I HAD NOT ACTUALLY DONE IT YET! And yet there I was, equipment in hand, ready to resolve my issue! I rushed inside, submitted my payment, and immediately plugged in the heater (to thaw out a frozen water pipe in my home.

It took a while (because of the pipe’s location deep in my wall), but the rented CSI heater worked magnificently! The frozen pipe thawed, and my problems were SOLVED! I cannot thank CSI RENTALS enough for their awesome equipment, top notch service, magnificent staff, and affordable prices!! When renting equipment, I say go with CSI RENTALS! You’ll be so, SO glad you did!!!
