Deliciously Guilt Free is a small, family-run British chocolate maker on a mission to prove that giving up sugar should never mean giving up great chocolate. We make artisan, no added sugar chocolate for people who love chocolate but want less sugar in their lives. Whether you’re living with diabetes, following a keto or low-carb lifestyle, or simply trying to cut down on sugar, we believe you still deserve seriously delicious chocolate. And we mean proper chocolate. We use high-quality cacao, real cocoa butter and carefully chosen ingredients to create rich, smooth chocolate without adding sugar or using palm oil. Our chocolate is made in small batches, stone-ground for days and carefully tempered by our team before making its way to you. Deliciously Guilt Free started in our family kitchen when founder Dan began creating low-carb treats for his wife during her pregnancy after she developed gestational diabetes. What began as one husband trying to make something delicious for his wife has grown into a family business serving thousands of chocolate lovers across the UK. We’re still small. We’re still learning. And we still care enormously. Every day, our little team strives to make the very best chocolate we possibly can… for you.

Stephen, that is one hell of a compliment... thank you.
To hear you call it the best chocolate you’ve ever tasted is exactly the kind of thing that makes all the work behind the scenes feel worth it.
Really appreciate you saying it 🍫

Chocolate was extortionately expensive
Chocolate was OK. Exception being the dark, very bitter.
Even with the discount this chocolate was very expensive, with added shipping almost costing GBP9.00 per bar. I won’t be repeating an order.

Stephen, thank you for giving us a try and for being honest about what you thought.
The Dark is definitely the boldest of the range, so if you prefer something softer and sweeter I can completely understand why that one felt too bitter for you.
We use proper cocoa butter, good-quality ingredients and make everything in small batches, which does make us more expensive than mass-produced chocolate. That said, it still has to feel worth it to you personally, and I completely respect that it didn’t on this occasion.
Thanks again for trying us.

The order was very slow to arrive
The order was very slow to arrive . The £4.95 you pay for Royal Mail delivery is very excessive considering it took 7 days to arrive !

Resposta da Deliciously Guilt Free
I completely understand your frustration, especially when you’ve paid for delivery and were hoping to receive your chocolate sooner.
We make our chocolate fresh in small batches and our usual turnaround is 3–5 working days before dispatch, so the delivery charge isn’t for a next-day service. That said, I appreciate seven days can still feel like a long wait when you’re looking forward to your order.
We’ve recently taken on four new members of staff and getting orders out more quickly is something we’re working really hard on as we grow.
Thank you for the honest feedback.

Resposta da Deliciously Guilt Free
Neal, I’ll take “a little pricey” on the chin 😉
We use proper cocoa butter and good-quality ingredients, which does make our chocolate more expensive to produce, so I’m really glad you still felt the product and service delivered.
Thanks for giving us a try and for the kind words.
Dan
Chocolate bars
Absolutely pure taste of the coco bean chocolate just as it should be - not what you find in the supermarket

That really is what I want people to notice... the cocoa itself, rather than loads of sweetness masking it.
Proper cocoa flavour makes such a difference, so I’m very pleased that came through for you.
Thanks for the lovely review 🍫

Marcus, lovely to have you back with us after a little break 😊
It sounds like the Creamy Milk is still firmly your favourite... and four squares a day sounds like a pretty good way to make a bar last!
Glad you enjoyed the Orange too, even if the Creamy Milk is still winning for you. Thanks for coming back and for recommending us 🍫

Janet, I love that you still get excited when your order arrives... that’s such a lovely thing to hear 😊
Knowing the chocolate feels like a proper treat for you, while still fitting with what you need, is exactly why I started making it in the first place.
Thank you for the kind words about the quality and flavour, and for continuing to support us. It really does mean a lot.

Delivery is just too slow..

Resposta da Deliciously Guilt Free
Colin, I completely understand... when you’ve ordered chocolate, you naturally want it to arrive as quickly as possible.
Your order took 5 days from ordering to delivery, which is within our usual 3–5 working day turnaround, but I do appreciate that it can still feel slow.
We’ve recently taken on four new members of staff to help us keep up with demand, and getting orders out sooner is something we’re working really hard on as we grow.
Thanks for the honest feedback... it genuinely helps.

Tastes nice chocolate but peanut butter…
Tastes nice chocolate but peanut butter only in middle of bar nothing round outside dont mind as i live chocolate but wanted more peanut butter x

Resposta da Deliciously Guilt Free
Margery, thank you for mentioning this.
I’m glad you enjoyed the chocolate itself, but I completely understand wanting more peanut butter through the bar. That’s really useful feedback for me, especially if the middle felt generous but the edges were a bit lacking.
I’ll definitely take that on board... more peanut butter is rarely a bad suggestion in my book 😂

Absolutely love this chocolate,
Absolutely love this chocolate,
Had several orders, always arrived within a reasonable time, being a diabetic this chocolate never raised my bloods like other sweet treats may do, worth every penny!

Jeanette, this is such a lovely review to read.
The fact you’ve already had several orders tells me the chocolate has properly found a place with you, and that honestly means a lot. I’m especially pleased you’ve had such a positive experience with your own blood sugar after eating it... everyone responds differently, of course, but I know how reassuring that can be.
And hearing you say it’s “worth every penny” really does mean a lot to me. Thank you for coming back to us and for trusting DGF as one of your treats 🍫
Dan
Great product
Great product, this is my third order, kind of speaks for itself. Keep up the great work.

Jimmy, third order definitely does speak for itself 😊
There’s no better compliment than someone trying the chocolate, enjoying it, and then choosing to come back again.
Really appreciate the support and the encouragement... I’ll keep doing my best to make sure order number four is just as good 🍫

Edward, this genuinely made me smile.
There’s something really lovely about hearing that, as a proper chocolate lover, you’ve found something you can still enjoy without that nagging worry in the background.
And “customer for life” is a huge thing to say... I don’t take that lightly. Thank you for trusting us and for sticking with DGF 😁🍫

This is really lovely to read... thank you.
I’m so pleased you enjoyed both the chocolate and the service, because with a small business I want the whole experience to feel good from ordering right through to that first bite.
And it sounds like I might be seeing your name pop up on another order before too long 😊🍫

I am diabetic and appreciate what you are trying to do.
However I’m not sure about the taste.
I prefer my chocolate to be more bitter xx

Resposta da Deliciously Guilt Free
Richard, I completely get that... chocolate taste is such a personal thing.
If you prefer something with a bit more bitterness and a stronger cocoa hit, our Dark may be more up your street.
I really appreciate you giving us a go and being honest about what you thought.

Great ingredients, not cheap, but what you get is quality,no palm oil nastiness! Have had the milk and orange so far,so,'so far,so good'🫡

Resposta da Deliciously Guilt Free
Doug, “so far, so good”... I’ll take that 😄
You’re right, we’re definitely not the cheapest, but I’d much rather put the money into proper cocoa butter and good ingredients than cut corners with palm oil.
Really glad the Milk and Orange have both gone down well. Hopefully the next flavour keeps the run going 🍫
