Worst decision EVER!!! Please value your health and DONT LET those butchers destroy your teeth, IT DOESNT WORTH IT, PLEASE FALLOW MY ADVICE!!! go with a dentist that really care your health and do the minimum shave!!! Before to go there I told to the person that I was in contact with about the shave I asked them if they could do the minimum shave and they say YES!!!! Liers!!! 1st I was told that treatment would be 5k for crowns, once there they say that if I wanted the "minimum" shave would be venners and the price increase to $8,233!!! GOOOODDDDD I should leave immediately that place!!! But I was already there and they make a discount!!! Was $6,993 almost the double!!! My dentist ELIF MELIKE GUTER the worst decision ever I BEG TO DONT OVERSHAVED and she did it !!! Can't believe the lack of professionalism of you don't know how to do minimum shave they don't do the job!! I have to ask for the gingivectomy in the sides, suppose to be included and this is no the worst the worst is that after a month I haven't be able to eat without pain and sensibility!!! And when I contact them the after care team doesn't even know who in the hell I am because for them we aren't humans!!! We are an ATM, so DISGUSTING 🤮 Miley keep asking me if I contact the after care and after care told me to use paradox toothpaste like if the toothpaste is going to fix a terrible procedure, 3 people close to me have venners and NO ONE including my husband suffer like me, venners take maximum 15 days to be recover and I was told to wait 2-3 months!!! Like if I don't do research about venners !!!! I didn't have implants to wait 2-3 months to recover!!! I request an appointment in Mexico or in Turkey paying myself the ticket and I didn't have an answer until I call my bank and dispute the charge !!! So gross, even if I get the money back I'll never recover my teeth 💔💔💔 PLEASE THINK TWINCE and invest the full price in your country or go to oral harmony in Colombia o Federico Baena in Mexico.

Unprofessional and Disrespectful Experience with Consultant Nazar

I had an extremely disappointing experience with my medical consultant, Nazar, which goes against Dentakay’s stated core values:
• Patient-Centric Care / Respect for the Patient: During the consultation, he did not listen to my concerns and made me feel as if I had no say in my treatment. This is completely contrary to prioritizing patient well-being.
• Professionalism & Ethical Practice: His attitude was unprofessional and unbearable. He interrupted me mid-conversation and displayed visible anger when I tried to explain my situation.
• Excellence & Quality: I expected a high standard of care and communication, but instead, I left feeling ignored and mistreated.

While the team apologized on his behalf, it did nothing to improve the situation; in fact, it seemed to enable further poor behavior. I hope Dentakay management reviews this incident seriously, as it severely undermines trust and patient confidence.

Cette clinique est à FUIIIIR ! Un devis augmenté à l’arrivée. Des dents SAINES limer comme un requin SANS FAIRE DE TRAITEMENTS DE RACINES. Un travail bâclé qui ne tiens pas sur la durée ( pour ça qu’ils vous pose vos couronnes/ facette le dernier jour). Comme ça, une fois arrivée chez vous c’est plus leur problème. Essayez même pas de les contacter si vous avez un problème, ils vous ignorent. Ils promettent une garantie élevé mais le dernier jour ils vous enlèvent 10 ans de garantie sans raison. Si vous tacher les draps de l’hôtel avec du sang, frais à votre charge.

Binnen vier Tagen zu einem neuen Leben und Lachen dank dem Team von Dentakay, so würde ich es am treffendsten beschreiben können. Insgesamt habe ich 22 Kronen, 9 Wurzelbehandlungen und vier Implantate erhalten, zudem mussten drei Zähne gezogen werden. Man kann vorliegend also getrost von einer Großbaustelle reden, die es zu bearbeiten galt. Dr Melis und ihrer Helferin Şeval möchte ich an dieser Stelle von Herzem für ihre unglaublich gute Arbeit danken. Ich liebe das Ergebnis! Auch meinem Kontaktmann Furkan ein Riesen Dankeschön, er hat meine zahllosen Fragen und Anliegen immer in Windeseile erledigt und war mir eine enorme Hilfe in Istanbul. My communication with William from Dentakay was absolutely outstanding. If you get him, you’re lucky! There was miscommunication from the staff in the clinic but virtually William dealt with it extremely well and efficiently.

The reviews are true about the price changes and I did think the people in the clinic itself would be nicer. But I am overall happy with my result. I’ve had no sensitivity or pain at all.

Everything from being picked up at the airport in a Maybach and returning the same way was fantastic.
As you can appreciate going to the dentists is not everyone’s favourite destination but you are well looked after. From the first consultation they knew that I was a little anxious as are most people and reassured me the whole time. You will have your main dentist who will oversee all of the treatment; a specialist for extractions and a specialist surgeon for the implant sockets and the dental technician. There was continuous communication between the whole team in the most modern dental facility I have seen.
Everything was virtually pain free only the tiniest bit of discomfort. It’s quite emotional when you see your new teeth for the first and you can see the pleasure that gives to the dentist who is an absolute perfectionist. I had to return 4 months later for my two implants and was greeted like an old friend.
I cannot praise them high enough.

My initial contact was with Miss Mila, who explained the entire dental implant process and pricing. I then decided to proceed with full-mouth dental implants at Dentakay. My first treatment was last October. Dr. Turhan Bıçkı patiently walked me through the entire surgical procedure and meticulously administered the anesthesia; I didn't even feel the needle. The surgery went very smoothly, and the clinic staff were all very friendly. I remember Saida, Serdar, and Enes were there at the time.
After the implant surgery, temporary dentures were installed, and I was told to return after six months of recovery for the second installation of Zirconia Crowns. Unfortunately, my temporary dentures broke and completely fell out less than two weeks after I returned home. I was very dissatisfied with the customer service I received when I contacted the call center about this. I hope you can improve your customer service, as patients tend to panic when they experience discomfort, especially when they are so far away. You need to provide careful and patient diagnoses and treatment suggestions based on the patient's actual situation.
After enduring six months without upper or lower teeth to chew with, I returned to your clinic this year. Dr. Turhan Bıçkı introduced me to Dr. Ahmet Özdemir, who installed my Zirconia Crowns. Although one tooth on the upper right side required drilling and re-bonding for installation, the overall installation effect is quite good, and I am satisfied with the results. Oggi sento il dovere di rivedere la mia precedente recensione negativa sulla Clinica Dentale Dentakay, scritta in un momento di forte disagio e confusione, legato all’impossibilità di fissare il secondo appuntamento conclusivo. Probabilmente il mio stato d’animo non mi permetteva di vedere con lucidità le circostanze.
La clinica Dentakay mi ha successivamente contattata, fornendomi spiegazioni chiare e dettagliate sulle ragioni del ritardo, che non dipendevano da loro. Avevo scelto Dentakay dopo un’accurata selezione tra numerose cliniche in Turchia, proprio perché si era distinta come la più seria e professionale.
A seguito del chiarimento, oggi ho ricevuto un messaggio che mi ha davvero colpita: “Dopo aver consultato la nostra direzione e tenuto conto del disagio, abbiamo deciso di offrirle un soggiorno presso il Nish Residence, vicino alla clinica, con servizio navetta da/per l’aeroporto.”
Un gesto di grande attenzione verso il cliente, che conferma la serietà di questa struttura. Non sono rimasta colpita solo dalla gentilezza, ma soprattutto dalla qualità delle cure ricevute, confermata anche da pareri autorevoli di dentisti italiani.
Dentakay si conferma, senza dubbio, la migliore clinica dentale di Istanbul.

All the staff at Dentakay are truly wonderful,kind, respectful, and professional. I just had my final session today, and I can honestly say they gave me my smile back!
From start to finish, I was treated with care and compassion. Every step of the process was clearly explained, and I always felt I was in good hands.
They are excellent at what they do, and their attention to detail shows in everything.

It's going to be to a long post,just bare with me.
Part 1: 1st visit
Started my research in January, talked to 9 top rated clients in Turkey and base on the x ray and pictures I've send most of them suggested the easy way for them,to extract all my teeth and go full implants. Obviously a bad idea...then I got to talk to Dentakay and suddenly I have tons of good options!
Eddie, the medical advisor talked to me for weeks,answer all my questions, offered guidance and patience till I felt I will have all my needs and wants meet.( including talking to there orthodontic specialist)
The package included flights tickets for the first visit (450 euro) 5 nights in park inn by radisson hotel for me and my partner with breakfast included, transport from and to airport and to all clinic visits, 5 Nobel implants (lifetime guarantee), 4 tooth extraction (3 wisdom),3 rooth canals, laser gum cut, 4 temporary front theet and 2 apical surgery for 3260euro. I got a pain injection right after extraction and implants,+ painkillers and antibiotics. I got a bit swollen but no pain and no bruises whatsoever.
Clinic is packed at all times,so expect some awaiting time in the reception but you are offered drinks and always asked if they can do something for you wile waiting.
All doctors were amazing, everyone is welcoming and I felt taken care of all the time
A big big thank you to Karim and Sahab, the translators/advisors for all the care and interest they show during this 5 days.
My next visit will be in 4-6 months to get 24 crowns.

Part2: second, and final visit
23rd sep to 1st Oct, 8 nights in Ramada Tekstilkent hotel, waay better then the one we stayed previously!! ( 6 were payed by the clinic, 2 by me)
As usual, everyone professional and carrying, stated with laser gum cut to all my upper teeth, opening the implants( that btw heated amazing, no discomfort at all throughout the 5 months in between visits. ) Following they shaved all teeth and did 1 rooth canal. I got temporary teeth and I wore them Thursday till Monday when my permanent ones were ready. I wish you all could see how amazing they look like!!!! I choose a natural shade colour (m1) but when they came i felt it's still to white for my taste so I changed to m2 , what is " not what most clients go for" 😅 but for me they are amazing, no one can tell they are not my natural. It's been just few days since I am waring them,so it's still an adjustment considering I haven't had back lower teeth in over 20 years.A big thanks to Dr Melis and her assistant for the patience and fun I received wile on the chair.
Overall, the best decision I've made!!!!
Final cost for this visit was 5210 euro for 26 zirconia crowns with 10 years guarantee.
I will update this post ,again, next year after the annual control.

I had been looking at having my horrible teeth that made me so insecure done for yeaaars and finally... it was time!!! Initial contact was via WhatsApp and Instagram. Sent them my full mouth pictures and even went further to get a professional scan from the dentist so they had a better understanding of the condition of my teeth. Received a quote, and I was assured multiple times that the price is final unless they find something drastically different going on inside my mouth.

Fast forward to Feb 2024, I land in Istanbul with my mum for support. Picked up by a very angry taxi man but nonetheless, hotel and transport both fine. Not great location hotel or quality but I wasn't there for leisure, so this was irrelevant to me.

First dentist appointment day, I am collected from the hotel and taken to the clinic. We start by taking photos, a 3D scan and a very short inital consultation to go over what is I wanted to achieve, but wasnt gicen opportunityto share photo inspiration etc, they basically chose for me. Within the first hour or so, I am separated from my mother and taken into a quiet office (you'll read about these 'quiet offices / side rooms a lot on these reviews) where they told me I needed to pay £1500 more for the work originally quoted. Straight away I'm pissed, I had a tight budget and they've intentionally got me alone and put me under pressure to pay a larger amount that wasn't justified. Eventually after lots of haggling (on their side!) I decide I didn't come to Turkey for nothing and we settle in the middle. My dentist proposed he crown all 20 of my teeth with bridges!! I only had one tooth missing so it really they only warranted one bridge - and any decent dentist will tell you the same thing. The reason they want to use bridges is because they require less skill, and they are faster and easier to instal, which means they can get me out quicker and make more £$€. Anyway, I insisted. And when I say insisted, I mean I came toe to toe with my con man consultant and unenthusiastic dentist until they backed down and agreed to single crowns and only the one necessary bridge. I was given some plastic temporary teeth to wear after my teeth were shaved down, which surprisingly was the least traumatic past for me. The plastic temps were damaged by my dentist on instal, causing them to have a shark 'hook' on the tip of a big tooth and some holes in the back. This caused me to have the huge ulcers and swelling all over my tongue and lips. My mouth was in bits for months and months recovering from the temp teeth when I got home to the UK. My dentist didn't seem to care at all that my mouth was so sore and that I couldn't eat properly for a week! I even fainted in my hotel room from lack of nutrition and sugar from not eating - and when I told my dentist, he couldn't have cared less. In fact this was still a problem when I got home until I was pretty much healed at about 3 months post surgery.

Instal day was a mess. Or shall I say night? Because I was the last one to leave the dental surgery at gone 9pm, along with my dentist). The first draft of crowns were too long for my mouth, so we had to send them back to the lab. Bear in mind this was at 4pm and I was flying home early AM the next day. I was worried to say the least. Finally I get a call around 7pm asking me to return and have the finals installed. Instal was traumatising and so painful. My denstist filled me up with so much local anesthetic thay I couldnt feel my lips for 2 weeks after I got home, and I swear that is not an exaggeration - I was terrified that he had damaged a nerve it was that bad. My dentist treated me like a RAG DOLL in his dentist chair - my jaw was pushed and pulled so hard to secure the improper crowns that I now suffer with excruciating jaw pain. One year later and I still have an incredible amount of jaw pain - it clicks all day long and is extremely misaligned.

My gums bleed terribly all day long despite religiously keeping up with the maintenance they suggest such as water flossing, mouth wash, regular dental check ups etc. And just this week (only 1 year later bearing in mind!) my canine crown has cracked. I supposedly have a 10 year warranty which is reassuring but, it's no good if the clinic ignore your messages is it. So I have emailed them a formal complaint, fingers crossed I hear something back or I'll be left no choice but to seek legal advice. My last note: the clinic ask you to sign an NDA before you leave. This means you cannot honestly review them publicly. I refused to sign this and you can too. Oh and they want you to leave a positive review on google before you've even walked out of the door! Absolutely appalling way to run a business Dr Gulay Akay
