For the third time no delivery in…
For the third time no delivery in Edinburgh. No explanations and no responsibility taken. I have had over 25 orders in the past but the service is so bad that I will it use them again.

Thank you for your review Bruce and again we're sorry to hear the frustrations here. With regards to no explanation provided by DPD with regards to your delivery, as discussed the driver had attempted to deliver to the address provided and according to the GPS tracking the driver was in the correct location. Most likely given the address provided, the driver had attempted to deliver to a neighbour, which was super frustrating and this has been escalated to DPD so that the driver was made aware of his actions and frustration caused here.
Needless to say it's absolutely not the delivery experience we want any of our customers to have in the slightest, though our support team is always more than happy to help however we can.

A great gift
This was a great gift, that was much appreciated. When recovering from an accident, a delicious meal is the best medicine. It was prepared by an inexperienced cook who was proud to serve and enjoy such a delightful meal.

The Paul Ainsworth Med-style summer…
The Paul Ainsworth Med-style summer monkfish is well worth forking out for if you want to try Michelin quality seafood which is fully prepared and simple to finish cooking from the comfort of your own home.
This menu has generous portions and a well balanced range of dishes with ingredients which would be difficult to source in my rural area.
If you are seeking a celebratory meal without the hassle of food shopping and the majority of the preparation, this is well worth a look, if it is within your budgetary means.

Delivery and packaging
Delivery and packaging. Including icepacks is excellent. However we feel the overall quality is not much better than our local restaurants. Finishing/cooking, with clear instructions, is quite easy.

Rubbish DPD Local service
Another excellent meal, but another disappointing delivery from DPD Local.
This was a replacement box as DPD Local had failed to deliver the original. This time it arrived late and yet again to the wrong address. Luckily I recognised the door!
Please change from using DPD Local, DPD themselves are great, so please stop using DPD Local.

The range of choices available is excellent, with many offerings from the countries top chefs. Preparation at home is easy and the results always excellent.

Was not delivered
This review is just based on circumstances, but this is the second time a meal hasn’t arrived. This time it was cancelled due to the weather. Completely understandable, but this serves as a deterrent from ordering again and shows they are not to be relied upon for a special occasion which I would have thought completely undermines their business model. When the food does come it always rates 5* ++

Thank you for your review and we're sorry to hear about the experience here. With regards to the cancellation due to the severe heat, it wasn't a decision that the team took lightly. As our CEO Nick mentioned, nothing like this has happened before in our 5 years of operation, though unfortunately our refrigeration had failed at the worst possible moment, effecting every customer this particular weekend. We fully appreciate this is far from the experience we wish to offer, though we take the health and safety of our customers extremely seriously and we stand by the decision made. Needless to say, extra measure and procedures have subsequently been put in place since.
If you ever have any concerns or issues at all, please do not hesitate to reach out to our support team as they're always more than happy to help clarify any issues.
