We were very pleased with the service we received from Distinct Cremations. The staff were kind, empathetic and efficient. We were very pleased with the care they showed towards my mother-in-law and we were delighted with the funeral service which was exactly as we wanted it to be whilst costing considerably less than if we had used other funeral directors.

It's important to me to sort my funeral before I die. They have also kindly agreed that although I live in Derbyshire & my wife is buried in Manchester they will deliver my ashes to my wife's sister in Manchester so that she can scatter my ashes on her grave

From the very first phonecall taking mums plan out , to the sad collection of my mum everystep of the way was respectfull and caring.
Mark our undertaker made a horrid situation dignified and respectful .Maxine was so helpfull and genuinely caring and thoughtful every step of the way.
Mark returned mums ashes promptly and with great care and compassion.Maxine stayed in touch with me throughout the whole process.
Distinct cremation certainly made a sad and difficult time special for myself and family so much so that I have just taken a plan out for myself with Distinct Cremation.Knowing that my children will be in good hands when the time comes gives me peace of mind.

I rang distinct cremations as I needed a funeral organised with no plan in place. As soon as I spoke to Maxine I knew this was the right company to help us. We were helped and treated with the utmost respect and nothing was to much trouble from start to finish. Every one I spoke to were very kind and helpful.

Distinct Cremations have provided an excellent service from when the plan was originally taken out 4 years ago to actually needing to use it in May 2026 when our father passed away. All the staff I dealt with were excellent demonstrating genuine concern and respect for dad and treating our family with care, compassion and empathy. Communication was excellent at every step of his final journey and we are very grateful to Distinct for making this difficult time easier to navigate and less stressful. I would definitely recommend to anyone thinking of taking out a similar plan in the future.

Distinct cremations recently dealt with my husbands cremation. Alice was my point of contact and dealt with everything and was very supportive. The whole thing was seemless from start to finish. My husbands ashes were returned to me two days later. I have a plan with them and Im confident that it will be easier for my daughter to cope with.

I have recently used Distinct Cremations for my late Aunt. The whole process from pre buying her plan to the help I received after her death in planning her funeral, the legal process, the day itself at the beautiful Gedling Crematorium, the attended service with the amazing Rev. Mark to the personal return of my aunts ashes has been seemless. All parties involved have been so professional and genuinely caring and there was not a single thing I could fault. My personal advisor, Sarah Miller was fantastic, so caring yet so knowledgeable and helpful as was her colleague , Alice. Thanks to all of you. I’d highly recommend.

Have used distinct now 3 times in the last 3 years and been absolutely superb service

Distinct cremations were great from beginning to end, everyone I spoke to dealt with us with compassion and Maxine gave us the options without being pushy in any way. The funeral service was Brilliant along with our celebrant Bill. It made a difficult time a simple experience at a fantastic price. Half the price a major company wanted to charge us. We had a simple 30 minute funeral with no frills and a witnessed scattering in the most beautiful crematorium and grounds.

What a wonderful company to deal with. Caring, Polite and understanding. Tracey talked me through the whole procedure. In a kind and understanding manner. It was easy and straightforward to set up. And it gives you great peace of mind knowing it's all sorted when you go. It was a total pleasure speaking and dealing with this company. 10 out of ten!

I’m was feeling very apprehensive about everything, especially while coping with the loss of my mum. Sarah, the agent handling my mum’s account, was incredibly kind and supportive throughout. She approached every step with care, explaining things clearly and making sure I never felt rushed or pressured into any decisions.

Because of my experience with Distinct Cremations—and particularly Sarah—I would consider using their services myself when the time comes.

Was worried about my family paying for the cost of my funeral especially how expensive every thing is getting. I am 85 and didn’t want to burden them I have a life insurance which I took out in 1964 but was unsure how much it would pay out. My daughter knew I was worried and had seen Distinct Cremation on social media and we liked the fact you could choose to have a service. Very helpful man Ian took our call and answered our questions and I purchased my funeral plan quickly and easily. Received all the paperwork promptly and my mind is now at ease that everything is taken care of when my time eventually comes
