Not dog friendly accommodation. No enclosed space for dogs
Alwyn Cottage in Wales was booked via a dog friendly site. This cottage was advertised as dog friendly. It is dog tolerant, i.e. dogs are allowed, but not dog friendly. The gates to the overgrown garden are locked as the garden is inaccessible. There is not a space that you can let dogs out. There is a sign stating that dogs must be kept on a lead at all times We are disappointed as we
do not consider having to keep dogs on a lead at all times as dog friendly accommodation.
Further to your response here and your email to me I have sent you pictures of the outside area from which you will see that there are no outdoor secure spaces for the dogs; I have also sent you a picture of the sign instructing visitors to keep dogs on lead at all times

Lovely big property with beautiful…
Little Broadenham, Chard, Somerset
Lovely big property with beautiful garden and fabulous views (and owl's at night). Plenty of room for 6 adults and 2 dogs. The house has a well equipped kitchen, large dining table, plenty of seating and very comfy beds. Patio and hot tub were enjoyed immensely by all and plenty of room for our 4 legged friends. A perfect 10 days

Despite due diligence and checking the…
Despite due diligence and checking the company was nothing to do with Sykes Cottages as it comes under the Snaptrip umbrella, I found on receipt of deposit it is infact a SYKES MANAGED PROPERTY a company I avoid like the Plague. False advertising at best!
In reply to your apologie, but not exactly helping me, I have been given this which I am looking into, Digital Markets Competition and Consumers Act 2024 requires information to be given on who you are dealing with. You are lying by omission. There is no where on your sites that you say Sykes collect the payments and manage the bookings.
