Stairlift supplied and fitted by Dolphin mobility south.

Dolphin mobility south were very helpful and a representative was quick to attend. He advised on the best solution and showed different makes of stairlift. He was not pushing for a sale and we were able to decide on the most suitable stairlift to suit our circumstances and budget. The stairlift was delivered in the timespan that was advised and the engineer was very pleasant and quick. He made a neat job of installation and gave a thorough demonstration of how to operate the stairlift. The price charged by Dolphin was much more competitive than the manufacturers quoted price for supply and fitting.

I’m very impressed by the service…

I’m very impressed by the service offered by the Surrey branch. I phoned late this afternoon, on behalf of a neighbour who’d had a fall and was being taken off in an ambulance. As her stairlift wasn’t working, it had taken an hour to get her downstairs. I was told she couldn’t be released from hospital until her stairlift was working. Dolphin has arranged for an engineer to come tomorrow at 10.
I think that’s amazing service! If I ever need a stairlift, I’ll go to them!

THANK YOU

I would like to send a big THANK YOU to the repairs team and engineers. I had an Infinity stairlift fitted in 2018 and it kept going wrong. I called the team at Dolphin and the engineer came the same day. After so many call outs Jon and the team at Dolphin decided to fit me a reconditioned Stannah free of charge. It has now been fitted by Jim and is working well. I think the after sales treatment is brilliant. Once again THANKS to you all

Excellent service from this company…

Excellent service from this company they went above and beyond to help with the installation of the lift and changing of the seat as to better suit the person who is using it. Lovely friendly helpful staff in the office as well as the engineers and sales rep would highly recommend.

Excellent customer service! They actually answer their phones!

Our stair lift stopped working this morning so I rang the service department. What a surprising delight that they answered the phone and I was able to speak to a human being! A helpful lady made a phone call to one of her engineers and a charming guy came within an hour and changed the batteries. What excellent customer service! How refreshing that they answer the phone as so many companies only offer laborious online form filling these days.
Highly recommend them!

Ceiling hoist for Spa

We have a disabled adult son who enjoys using the spa in our garden log cabin. I spoke to Dolphin Manchester about installing a ceiling track hoist over the spa to assist getting him in and out. David came out to see us and we discussed various options that were available. He was extremely helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. We placed the order with Clair, who was absolutely lovely too. Installation was perfect, and everything was left spotlessly clean. The guys were really professional and friendly. I have to say that I cannot fault my experience with this company! We are very very happy with our hoist and it has made such a big difference to our son's quality of life. The total cost of the hoist, seat and installation was much cheaper than expected too, which was a nice bonus! Was an absolute pleasure dealing with everyone at Dolphin, thank you so much!

Where do I start

Where do I start? My 83 year old mother was measured up for her stairlift in October 2020 and given the grant to have it installed in November 2020. She has had stomach cancer and is now on kidney dialysis three times a week and is finding it increasingly difficult to climb the stairs. She's had the electrics installation but since then NOTHING!! Not a call a letter or a text message NOTHING. I would not recommend this company to my worst enemy. Stay well away 😡😡😡😡😡

Dolphin Manchester, great service!

We used Dolphin Manchester & they have been brilliant. There were problems with the width of stairs but they explained how this could be solved & sorted out the joiner to do the work too. All questions answered quickly & they really understand that once you ask for a stairlift, it needs to be done as soon as possible. All in all one happy, satisfied customer.

Terrible after-sales service

Dolphin did a good job of installing the stairlift, but don't expect good after sales service. Small fault, call-out, pay the call-out fee. Spare part not on the van (why not?), come back another time and pay a second call-out charge. Shortly after that the batteries failed, and they wanted 3 times the retail price for the new batteries (plus the call-out charge of course).
Dolphin has lost a paying customer for ever. I recommend you don't use them in the first place.

What an amazing company

What an amazing company. During the difficult time of Covid, they worked to the standards set by the government.
They were very efficient and the stairlift came quicker than expected and considering the stairs are very steep and it was a concern on whether a stairlift would work for the stairs.
It was fitted in less than a day and all the staff have been amazing during a difficult situation with my father's health.
I would highly recommend them.
Thank you for to an amazing team and for all your help.

I dealt with Dolphin Mobility South and found them professional in their communication and all the staff who installed my chair lift were courteuos and installed the lift in one day. We are pleased with the product and look forward to contact in future dealings .

What a terrible people to buy from its…

What a terrible people to buy from its criminal the way they treated me they put a stair lift & within few weeks the battery went flat & want to charge me £60 for battery they were not nice people to talk to on phone really upset me I was bed bound for couple of weeks due to COVID no demonstration all they wanted was to rush getting the lift fitted & I was shielding anyone buying from this company must be mad the only thing they are interested in is making money not helping disabled people greed is there main accomplishment

I received excellent service from…

I received excellent service from Dolphin, always answered the phone, was professional, fast and friendly. Very informative and helpful and high quality services.

Claire especially has a nothing is too much trouble attitude and was a dream to deal with, she should get a raise!

I would most definitely buy or choose dolphin for any future stair lifts, it has been a brilliant experience!

Dolphinstairlifts Chobham are AMAZING

I never thought that I would need a stairlift but since becoming disabled, I had to have a stairlift installed so that I could remain in my home. Dolphinlifts in Chobham fitted it for me several years ago and the service and customer care, even then, was fabulous. Recently my stairlift went wrong on me and I had to call Dolphinlifts to come out to fix the problem. WOW, the lady who answered the phone and dealt with me was fabulous and understanding. The engineer who came out was amazing (and PPE'd up (important for someone at high risk)). They came out the very same afternoon! The same fault code appeared the next day, on a weekend, and they, once again, came out straight away and had huge understanding of my predicament. I have had no problems with them at all.
Other companies in different parts of the country could learn a lot from Dolphinlifts in Chobham and I should know as I used to be Head of Training and Customer Service for a multi-national company in the UK. Thank you Dolphinlifts Chobham THANK YOU X

Really good service!!

I had an lift from dolphin lifts. The lady in the office at the Manchester branch helped me and advised me ! It’s such an amazing service I couldn’t recommend enough !!

The Worst Customer Service Ever

This service provided by this company is the worst I have ever received for any type of product. I had a stairlift fitted by this company just over 2 years ago, to replace a lift I had had for more than 10 years. Already, I have had to have more engineer call outs to this lift which is still under warranty, than I had in the whole 10 years of my old lift. This time, my lift stopped after starting to move downstairs. Fortunately it had only descended 2 steps. The engineer came out within 2 hours but could not fix it. He said he had to order a new part. I phoned today to find out when the engineer would call back because I am trapped upstairs now until he fixes it. I was told by the lady I spoke to that she would contact the parts dept. and ask them to call me back to advise. After an hour, I phoned again and told the same lady that I hadn’t heard anything, so she put me through to the parts dept direct. The person I spoke to said she didn’t know whether the manufacturer had stock of the part yet and was waiting for them to advise her. I explained that I wasn’t able to leave my bedroom without the lift.She said she would call me back after contacting the manufacturer. After a further 2 hours I phoned again. I was fobbed off again, this time blaming Covid for staff shortages (yeah right)! She showed no empathy at all. I felt really frustrated and burst into tears on the phone. I put the phone down. Eventually she did call me back. She said it would take a couple of days to get the part. So I said I should here by Wednesday then? No, more likely Friday. How is that a couple of days? She said she wouldn’t be able to submit the order now until tomorrow, the manufacturer would probably send it out Wednesday or Thursday, then as soon as they received the part they could contact the engineer to arrange for him to come out again. This is 2021, so how is it that it is taking 2 days before the order is even sent (by carrier pigeon I think) then a further 2 days for the manufacturer to dispatch the order. Why can’t the order be submitted over the phone and confirmed by email if necessary, then the manufacturer dispatch it the same day? Wherever we shop today, we can usually get next day delivery. Some offer same day delivery (Argos)! So I am cooped up in my room for only God knows how long. By the time I get out we will be back in Lockdown. It was bad enough the first time round and I know we have to go through it but I could have been out before the Lockdown deadline. I will be contacting Trading Standards and the disability charities and anyone else I can think of to warn vulnerable people not to touch this company with a barge pole. By the way, this is not an isolated incident. In February this year the same thing happened. At that time though, I had fallen at home and broke my leg, so I couldn’t use the lift and had to have a bed downstairs. It took 2 weeks to get a part on that occasion, but at least I was able to watch tv and be with my husband.
