op 5 jaar 2 dometic camera's vol water !

na 5 jaar van onze nieuwe camper is het de 2de keer dat onze achterruitrij camera vol water zit ? ik was hem nooit met de hogedruk en hij staat onder een carport.
ik koop zeker geen derde keer een camera van dometic die 350 euro kost !
als ik eerder de reviews had gelezen over dit bedrijf had ik na de eerste keer al iets anders geplaatst !!!
de service trekt op niks en de goederen ook niet.

Horrible customer service - would not reccomend

We purchased a CFX5-35 and it arrived dead. No power at all. Contacted support for warranty service and they asked for photos which I sent. They determined that it would need to be returned and once they received it, I would get my money refunded. Someone from the return team would be in touch. That took a week and I got an email stating that UPS would be in touch to get a pickup scheduled. 1 week passed and no contact from anyone. So I called UPS and was told there are not any scheduled pickups for my address. It has now been 3 weeks since I was told that UPS would be in touch. I have emailed Dometic several times and have not gotten any response from them. It has been 5 weeks since we took delivery of this dead item, and are unable to even get it shipped back.

da quello che vedo dalle recensioni di domentic sono un altro cliente deluso e vedo che ce ne sono parecchi , ho sun control 2 dopo un anno e mezzo di funzionamento a dato dei problemi e l'assistenza non riesce a risolverli e già la terza volta che lo spedisco e me lo rimandano con un difetto che peggiora la prima volta che lo spedito caricava ad intermittenza la seconda me lo anno rimandato che non caricava più e si spegneva quando inserivo il filo della batteria motore adesso stanno tirando fuori la scusa della scadenza della garanzia, che delusione e perché lo spacciano per un dei migliori marchi il mio sbaglio e che dovevo vedere prima le recensioni e poi se mai comprare adesso sto aspettando una risposta per vedere come andrà a finire che delusione
Voglio aggiungere che ho comprato un suncontrol 2 nuovo e questo funziona allora al tecnico domando come mai quello che avete controllato voi per tre volte non funziona e ancora non vorrei dire che forse la volta buona che dovreste cambiare mestiere

Nicht zu empfehlen! Dometic HBG2335 Gaskochfeld über Camping Factory bestellt. Glasdeckel auf einer Seite nicht bündig und Scharnier so nah zur Außenseite des Kochers installiert, dass ein Einbau unmöglich ist, da nur 1mm Platz vorhanden ist um es auf der Holz Arbeits Platte aufzulegen. Da denkt man, man bekommt beim Namen Dometic Qualität geliefert, aber einfach nur grottenschlecht!

Nie wieder ein Kühlschrank von Dometic

Ich habe den Kühlschrank im Juli 2023 gekauft.
Im Juni 2024 musste wegen Fehler 51 das Steuergerät getauscht werden.
Im August 2025 musste der Brenner komplett getauscht werden (Rechnung 199,49 €)
Jetzt tritt sporadisch wieder Fehler 51 auf.
Wir haben 5 Urlaubstage verloren, da wir auf das Ersatzteil warten mussten.
Wir stehen überwiegend frei und sind auf den Gasbetrieb zwingend angewiesen. Den ganzen Urlaub hoffen und bangen ob der Kühlschrank funtioniert macht auch keinen Spaß. Ich hatte in meinem ganzen Leben noch kein Gerät das so unzuverlässig und fehlerbehaftet war wie dieses Gerät. Ich kann nur abraten von einem Dometic Kühlschrank. Keinerlei Entgegenkommen, Kulanz ist ein Monat nach Ablauf der Garantie ein Fremdwort für Dometic

Zeer slechte service

Ik heb in de caravan een dometic koelkast. Na 3 jaar is de printplaat defect.
Via de dealer is er om coulance verzocht, helaas niet mogelijk. Gezien het feit dat je van een koelkast toch echt een langere levensduur mag verwachten ben ik er zelf nog een keer achteraan gegaan. Na 2 weken wachten nog maar eens een verzoek gedaan. Een totaal irrelevant antwoord was hun manier van service verlenen. Kansloze service..

Ich habe ihn als Reklamation eingesendet, das ist jetzt 10 Wochen her, ich erreiche telefomisch niemanden, endlose Warteschleifen, auf emails bekomme ich keine Antwort !!
Uferlos schlechter Service.
Miserables Produkt.
Schade , dass es keine Bewertungsmöglichkeit im Minusbereich gibt.
Update 1.10
Habe dann irgendwann jemanden erreicht, habe Kostenvoranschlag bekommen als ca. Angabe nix schriftlich aufgeschlüsselt, habe vor 3 Wochen geschrieben, bitte reparieren, heute kommt Nachfrage ob ich die Reparatur Kosten jetzt bestätigen kann.
D. H. Email nicht richtig gelesen und noch nix passiert, wieder 3 Wochen später.. Bin gespannt ob ich den booster dies Jahr noch wieder bekomme.. Ein Stern ist noch zu gut bewertet.

Wonderful quality items

I can’t speak for all the negative comments. I’ve had a wonderful experience with Dometic. I have ordered two of the water jugs. The nozzle pump. A 10 L insert and soft shell bag, a 20 L insert and soft shell bag. They accidentally sent me two inserts instead of one of the soft shells of the 10 L and told me to just keep it while they sent me another soft shell. I just ordered two blankets and a foldable table that have a great reviews and I’m super excited for those, once my rig is ready go camping I will be buying the fridge as I know five people that have them and I’ve had nothing but great things to say. From what I see versus read. It sounds like the people that truly enjoy the product aren’t leaving reviews. Typically it’s people that have issues that leave them.

I wouldn’t even give Dometic one star

I wouldn’t even give Dometic one star – absolutely shocking service.

I bought a Dometic fridge, and after just a year the compressor failed and the fridge stopped cooling. I followed Dometic’s instructions and returned it to the retailer I purchased it from. They held onto it for over a month trying to repair it, before passing it on to another company acting on Dometic’s behalf.

That company then tried to blame the issue on my electrics, claimed the fridge was working, and sent me a bill completely out of the blue – no warning, no explanation. I refused to pay. After a lot of back and forth (with long delays between replies), Dometic finally agreed to return the fridge free of charge… but that wasn’t the end of it.

When the fridge finally came back (over three months later) it was in even worse condition: broken components, visible scratches, and marks all over it.

Absolutely disgraceful experience from start to finish. I expected much better from a company like Dometic. The fridge itself is great when it works, but everything else about this company, from repair process to customer service, is shocking! Avoid at all costs!
