If I could give this negative stars, I would! We did expedited shipping & was given 3-5 business days to ship. We are going on 11 business days & it still has not shipped & they will not give us a ship date! We are told it’s “in production”. I have tried to cancel the order but conveniently cannot because it’s past their 3 day policy. Now they want to only do a partial refund. If this were a custom dress, I could understand but this is an off the rack size!! And on top of that, we were charged a Foreign Transaction Fee that was not disclosed on the website! This website is a joke, a scam, a fraud! I have reported them to Google Ads as fraud so hopefully no one else will be duped into this “too good to be true” website. I will copy & paste this report to every review website I can!! This is poor customer service & they refuse to make it right!!

So, March 26th I get an undisclosed text about delivery of a package. Because I did not know who the text was from and because spam calls and texts are running ramped I did not respond AND blocked the texted. On the 27th I get an email from DressSelf that my item has been shipped and if upon arrival I do not want it to send a pic of the item. Then a follow up email with tracking info. The pkg. was ro be delivered by DHL. I put 2 and 2 together and contacted DHL because if I could still get the dress I would count it as a win. DHL has the dress on their truck but re-delivery will not be attempted until 4/3/23. Prom was last night, 3/31/23. So, I arranged for DHL to drop dress at one of the outposts and I would drive 100 mi. round trip and pick up yesterday morning. I got to outpost yesterday morning and dress had not been delivered. I gave up and called DHL back and told them to RETURN TO SENDER. I have/had no use for the item anymore

Company can not update me of when item will be shipped. Paid expedited shipping only to be told “rest assure” …. Prom is almost here and no dress … what a way to end Senior year !!!!

Ordered a dress on March 11th. It’s been more than 15 days for them to process the dress and I paid expedited shipping. I can’t get any information other than it’s still processing. This company is a rip off and I will never order from there again. I also asked for a refund and they said no!
DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS PLACE!

My daughter ordered a prom dress and it arrived not as pictured and it did not fit. She contacted customer service (via email which is the ONLY option) immediately. It has been over a month and they are refusing to refund the dress. She has requested over and over and they just keep offering to refund 10% or 20% and she can keep the dress. She cannot wear the dress as it does not fit. Very shady company that will not honor their refund policy nor provide a contact number.

**Dressself said they would refund me AFTER I pay to ship it to their warehouse in CHINA which through UPS will cost me half the original price of the dress. Their stated refund policy is a lie. It is impossible to get an actual refund. BUYER BEWARE***

Ordered a dress 3/15/23 to arrive in an expedient time and still have not received it. there is not phone number to call and have yet to receive a response to two emails. Based on the many reviews-- buyer beware. Dressself can redeem themselves by responding..I need this dress ASAP for my daughter's senior prom which is 4/1/223.

Ordered a dress March 11th. Paid for expedited shipping (28.99) to get it in 3-5 business days. Here we are today 3-26 and still haven't received it. I have sent emails and they responded twice. Ever since I requested a refund they have completely ignored me and will not respond. Now I'm having to file a fraud case with my bank to get my money back. I hope my bank files a report against this company and shuts them down. They are scamming people for money. Don't buy from this site

I just need to know the status of my dress. WBDSFUS8381 Is the order number. I have taken into account the 10-15 business days and it has been over that. It said it would send an email when it has shipped but I have not received any.

Dresself is amazing! i was scared at first because of all the bad reviews but the dress came today and i ordered it march 3 it takes a little bit to get it but it looks just like the picture! thank you dressself

**Edited to add: they responded to this review, telling me to email them and send pictures, which I did, and I still haven’t heard back from them.
Received the dress this past Monday and it is made incorrectly. The shoulder straps are so short and the dress cuts into my daughter’s shoulders and underarms. I’ve sent 3 emails since receiving the dress requesting to return it and get a refund. No one answers. There’s only a 7 day window to return and I’m afraid they’re going to respond just when it’s too late.

Worst customer service! Good luck getting ahold of anyone. Then also good luck cancelling your order even when they tell you it has not been processed. I was told I could only get a partial refund since it had been two week since I placed my order but when I had asked for shipping update I was told it hadn't gone into production yet... so how am I going to be charged for something that hadn't even been started.

We ordered a dress back in January and we still have not received the dress nor have we gotten any communication of its status. So disappointed. We just want our money back at this point.

It will not let me cancel my order my prom is April 8 and my dress will not be here in time

I got an email saying my order was canceled and i didn’t cancel it i’m a week and a half away from prom and i don’t know what to do my order number is #WBDSFUS838 please do not cancel my order i might cry.

I just wanna know if i’m gonna receive my dress. it says 6-10 business days and i still haven’t received any email or anything. My proms next month and I just want my dress if not so i can see how to cancel my order.

For a company that deals with event type dresses, your service is extremely poor. We ordered a prom dress on 3/4. Anticipated a delivery of 3/17 at the latest based on 10 business day delivery. Now I am hearing it’s possibly an additional 10 days to process the order. That’s ridiculous, but worse is the lack of communication No email to explain or give good tracking. No one is Ever manning the Chat for help. (Tried numerous times) No one responds to emails. I should have known better. I usually will not deal with a site that does not have a customer service number. I couldn’t even find one on Google. Still no idea if I’ll have it in time for prom. Buyer Beware.

I ordered a dress 3/6 and the site states shipping in 6-10 business days. I did not realize the dresses were being made to order. I have sent TWO emails to get an estimated delivery date and received no response. If the dress will not arrive by the event which is 3/25 I dont want to waste anyone's time making it. I have received no response to my emails, definitely feels like a scam site... again I HAVE sent TWO emails to the below listed contact email and I have not received a response. They responded to this review within 24 hours yet, my emails haven't been acknowledged for several days. please follow up with me and check your email for my order number.

I ordered this dress in January for my daughters Jr Prom. I liked the whole elegant look and was so excited to get it. I kept in contact with the live chat rep on the site to see what the status was of my order because I was getting anxious a month has gone by and I still haven't received my order and was worried i wouldn't get it in time. They insured me that the production was still working on my order and "the dress needs enough time to be done as we do not want to make it look rushed". I will get a msg when a tracking number is generated when my item ships.FINALLY on MARCH 1st I messaged them again and was told my item has been shipped and a tracking number was attached. Can you imaging how happy I was!!! I watched the status of my delivery till the day I received it 5 days after.
OHHHH BOY THE DISAPPOINTMENT!!!! THE DRESS I RECEIVED LOOKED NOTHING LIKE THE DRESS I ORDERED. CAN YOU SAY FALSE ADVERTISEMENT. FIRST OF ALL THE DRESS WAS POORLY MADE THE MATERIAL SHOWN IN THE PICTURE WAS NOT THE MATERIAL AT ALL. SECOND OF ALL THE DRESS I ORDERED HAD RHINESTONE EVERYWHERE MINES LOOKED LIKE THEY RAN OUT OF RHINESTONES AND DID A HALF ASS JOB. I WAS SOO PISSED THE MONEY I SPENT AND RECEIVING A DRESS THAT WASN'T IT! I CONTACTED THE LIVE REP THRU CHAT AND INFORMED THEM REGARDING THIS SITUATION AND WAS ASKED IF I WANTED ANOTHER SIZE "SERIOUSLY" NO I DIDN'T GET THE RIGHT DRESS I ORDERED THEN ANOTHER OPTION WAS TO RETURN IT TO GET A REFUND. 1ST OF ALL I WOULDN'T GET MY REFUND ON TIME TO PURCHASE ANOTHER DRESS, SECONDLY NOT MY FAULT I RECEIVED THE DRESS THAT WAS POORLY MADE AND LOOKED NOTHING LIKE WHATS ADVERTISED, 3RD OF ALL I FEEL BECAUSE I WAITED PATIENTLY FOR MY ORDER i SHOULD BE REFUNDED FOR RECEIVING A FALSE ADVERTISED DRESS.

Please pay attention: Dresself has a 7-day return policy and they are strict about it. We were traveling and were not able to return the item until after that and they would not flex. Going forward I'll purchase from stores/brands with reasonable return policies.
