Excellent service & belief in the future.

The team did great, and helped me decide on the right bike. I also really appreciated the follow ups from the team. Great to deal with professionals as always.

Purchased an O2feel Equo 4.1 Cargobike for use in Geelong. It is early days with the bike (2 days) however has been great so far. Our 5 and 8 y.o. have had no trouble fitting on the bike together with fully packed school bags for drop off and pickup. It is 5km each way and quite hilly. Trip to school took 25mins at a very leisurely pace. It would usually be 10mins when no traffic on a more direct route via car and 20-25mins with peak school traffic depending a lot on the time we leave. The bike has handled well with more than enough spare battery. I was able to test the school/work route and add an extra ride around Geelong (approx 3 hours total) without going below 50%. Safety was a big concern, biking infrastructure has a long way to go here. Nevertheless when researching a route, was surprised to find I can actually get to school and onto work whilst hardly riding on roads at all. It took a little trial and error and creative use of google earth/maps to work out a route I was happy with before purchasing. In terms of presale I tested it with kids/school bags at the Melbourne store with Yoga prior to purchasing given couldn’t find equivalent quality bike locally. Had a good hour riding it up and down without feeling rushed and having the chance to ask a lot of questions. I liked that it wasn’t an aggressive sales pitch, they didn’t try to upsell me to the more expensive versions of the equo or accessories I didn’t need. Jurgen (owner) then dropped the bike direct to our door in Geelong for a very reasonable fee. Would absolutely recommend Dutch Cargobikes and the O2Feel Equo 4.1 based on experience so far

This is the second bike we've bought from Dutch CarGo - that says a lot in itself! Yoga and the team continue to be a source of knowledge and are quick to respond and help guide us. It's been a huge help and we couldn't be any happier with the outcome. I'd recommend them 100x over again.

The team at Dutch Cargo Bike are brilliant, their service is amazing, very responsive, going above and beyond to help. I purchased a Riese & Muller Load4 60 E-Cargo Bike from them 18 months ago, and live 3,000km away on the other side of Aus on the south coast of WA - but it felt like these guys were just down the road. Helped via email and phone, providing great support and service. I absolutely love the bike, it's changed me and my dogs life so much for the better. It's not cheap, but its so worth it - if you can afford it then it's a total no brainer as it is brilliant, so easy to look after, exceptional quality, its absolutely perfect. Done 6,000km in it on and off-road, in rain/ wind/ sun/ night-time/ along the coast / through town, with not a single problem. ...except losing my key!... which Yoga at Dutch Cargo Bike sorted for me too :) I'm so happy these guys have set-up this shop & service in Australia. So grateful for their support, especially being so far away with no local help in a small regional town.

Goods were incomplete and damaged on arrival however Dutch cargo promptly sent a replacement which was in good condition and had all fittings.

I had no experience with e-bikes let alone cargo bikes. The staff were knowledgeable, helpful and very patient. It made the purchasing experience stress free. Would recommend!

Great help in deciding which bike to buy and fast delivery.

Unfortunately not a good experience. Bike paid for 23/02. Courier delivery set for 25/02 with agreed delivery to my home. Dutch Cargo then organised delivery to a "nearby depot" around 45km from my home.

After speaking to Yoda, this was apparently re organised to my home address. A week after they have my $12000, nobody (including their choice of courier) seems to know exactly where my bike is and despite 3 failed delivery deadlines I am unable to get a refund.

This business has some pretty poor systems in place, that results in a poor customer experience. If you live close and can pickup items may be OK, but be very wary of trusting them to courier high value items.

No apologies or delivery refunds offered despite the poor experience.
