Attended Broken Hill store and my son went through a rack marked under $23. Found a game which he wished to perchase but as told by the person on the checkout it was $36. When quizzed by the sign on the rack she was aggressive stating, ‘we have no control over customers putting games in there’. So I looked through the rack to find perhaps a third of the games in the rack were marked at a higher price than $23. Again I questioned the false advertising and again she was aggressive and argumentative. I simply said if you’re to busy take the sign down because that’s false advertising. Poor customer service. So much for the customer is always right Adele. Won’t go back.

Love our local store. They folks know us by name and know our likes etc.

Returned an Xbox series X controller that was packaged with the Xbox series X and they replaced it with a new boxed controller approximately 3 months ago. This controller must have been a dud as the right hand analogue stick started drifting, I took it to the Gungahlin store and they could not locate the previous transaction on their system where this controller was supplied as a replacement and logged a call with their support team. 2 x weeks later still no phone call and now on the phone for 40 minutes with a consultant searching their system for this transaction! Wasting my time because it looks like their team member gave me a replacement without putting it through their system - they will now call me back !

Bought an xbox elite 2 wireless controller.
Double checked return policy with Mallory, sales person at time of purchase.
Controller disconnects randomly depending on game.
Returned the following day though without one component which had accidentally been left at home. Assured by Liz and Ben the refund/store credit will be given .
3 days later returned complete controller in packaging with all components. Kailah refused the warranty, claimed we had lied about the previous interactions with staff and stated the controller had fingerprints on it and no refund or store credit will be given.
Call to customer service the same day, spoke to Scergos. He called store and heard their side of the story, spoke with his team leader and refused refund or credit. After questioning how he can accuse me of lying and 100% believe the sales people and stating basic Australian consumer law with a faulty product he spoke to his team leader again.

Resulted in the promise of a return slip to test malfunction of item. Would not let me talk to his team leader but again promised a call back in 3 business days.

I know Some staff always open the new games CD to own play after they playing will selling back to customer quietly with new and new item price! If you buy on online you can’t check the cd, so when your parcel coming you’ll get a used Cd without seal! And the back of cd lot finger print!

Every question I asked I got a great response and got it explained in ways I defiantly understood. I highly recommend this store and these staff members. Keep up the good work girls. 10 days ago I ordered a $20 PlayStation gift card. EB GAMES said it takes 2-7 business days. But it’s been 10. If my order is completed, can someone please tell me how to claim it. Because I don’t know how to.

Have shopped here for ages for all my gaming needs. Customer service has always been responsive in resolving any issues I've had (few and far between). Really happy to see their expansion into new categories. Namely boardgames of which I've ordered a number of recently as well as PC related products for streaming.

Kick ass service since Ryan Cohen took over as shipman of the board. Will always use eb games for physical disk purchases to ensure I can sell the game again once I am bored with it. until an nft marketplace is available (which they are developing right now) this company has also made me a fortune in profits from purchasing their stock GME.

Just received a preowned xbox one i ordered online, it states it comes with a controller, yet it didn't, so im very happy and looking forward to the weeks of waiting for it, countless emails and phone calls, painful service. Would avoid next time.

EB Games sucks !!!! My experience with their support team was the worst I have had . I ordered a PS5 waited 3 months they cancelled my order and sold my unit. Without any notification! Tried to speak to someone in charge and they kept refusing. Dont buy from these people unless you want a horrible experience.!!

We went to EB Games at Grand Central in Toowoomba on Sunday looking at games, on the off chance asked about play station 5, they told my son that they were arriving on Tuesday (today). We offered to pay the full price for the play station immediately and were declined by the store explaining that they were not allowed to accept deposits or preorder, and online was not available. We were told we had to be at the shop Tuesday when they open on a first come first serve basis. We arrived around 8:30 am with 5 other hopeful play station customers ahead of us. Just after 9 am the EB store representative came out and said "are you here for the play station 5?" Yes we all said, she told us that sadly they did receive the play station 5's, she did unpack them but they have all been sold online. Again we questioned her about this, she said "it's not my fault". Surely the response should have been more professional, there were not only 1 but 6 disappointed customers and all she could say was "not my fault". My question is how can they tell customers that we can't order online, we can't pay a deposit for one nor pay it in full before it arrives as it is a first come first serve basis only and then they go sell them online. The ludicrous thing though is today they said if we want we can pay a 200 dollar deposit today for the next delivery, but she has no idea when that would be. I am a very unhappy disappointed customer - Very interesting that some can get their hands on play station 5's at the shop price and see them on eBay for almost double in some cases, how is it that some can find play station 5's and some can't!!!

Pre-owned games are even more expensive then new he wanted $77 for game that's $69 NEW! Poor service! Ridiculous Prices!

What's worse you cant order anything from another store just because! If its not available online you cant order it from an another shop that is interstate. You have to drive there your self!

Stupid shop! Been waiting for my orders since Nov 18! supposed to be delivered on that month, and notice they remove the item on their shop and been contacting them and no reply, they're just hiding, stupid!
