Shining Stars

Everyone was fantastic across the board, I want to make sure and establish that from the start. But Charlie and Nolan are in my opinion the two shining stars of the event. They were the most attentive, professional, courteous, accommodating, and downright genuine trade show associates I’ve ever encountered. You can truly tell they care about the work they do, and they make a fantastic team together. They kept the whole room rolling, in check, and smooth flowing from meeting to meeting. Really appreciate their assistance with everything as I couldn’t have gotten through the show without them. I sincerely look forward to seeing how they grow with your company as you have employed two absolute winners in my book.

Great staff, great platform.

Krystel and Kiersten were absolutely amazing while at the show. Colleen was incredible to work with leading up to and during the show. Crystal (at main desk) went above and beyond multiple times to ensure we were taken care of. 5 stars!

GREAT first ECRM!

This was our first ECRM and the team was awesome! Very accommodative and is obvious they want each brand to succeed. I got super fast responses and felt very prepared ahead of time. Kind and great people to work with!

Excellent staff for set up

Excellent staff for set up, meeting management, and move out. They were always available to answer questions and keep our meetings on schedule.

Good quality meetings all in one place. 30+ meetings with current partners and new prospects with out traveling all over the country.

ECRM is the very best trade event format in the world

My name is John O’Maley. I’ve attended 302 ECRM events—my first was Charlie Bowlus’s very first ECRM in California 32 years ago.
By way of background, I began my 42-year business career when Procter & Gamble hired me straight out of the U.S. Army, where I received world-class training in marketing, branding, and advertising from one of the best global marketers ever. For the past 32 years, I’ve run my own sales and marketing consulting firm serving CPG brands. Along the way we’ve had meaningful successes—and some major failures—but I can honestly say I’ve learned the most from the failures.
ECRM has consistently been the most effective, efficient, and productive use of my consulting time. I’ve successfully launched 200 CPG products into retail, and I took all 200 through multiple ECRM programs. In my experience, ECRM is the most efficient and results-driven trade event format I have ever participated in. Overall, I’ve led clients through nearly 1,000 trade events, and ECRM stands in a category of its own.
Roughly half of my ECRM meetings have been 10 minutes and the other half 20 minutes. Both formats have been invaluable for me and for my clients. The ECRM staff are consistently professional, sharp, resourceful, and responsive. But the real beauty of ECRM is simple: you get a guaranteed 10- or 20-minute meeting with the right category buyer for your product.
The key to my success—regardless of format—is to present for the first half of the meeting and then close, close, close in the second half. After ECRM, it can take 20+ follow-ups to convert interest into orders. But if a buyer expresses interest at ECRM, that is your green light to keep following up until you either get the order or the buyer clearly tells you they’re no longer interested. Too many companies quit after 10 follow-ups when the buyer hasn’t responded. That’s a mistake. Don’t give up.
ECRM receives the highest rating I could possibly give. If you are a CPG manufacturer and you are truly serious about launching your brand successfully, then in my humble opinion: you must attend the category-specific ECRM program for your brand.
I’m grateful to the many people at ECRM who have supported me and my consulting business over the years—especially Charlie Bowlus, who created ECRM; Mitch Bowlus; outstanding senior leaders like Sarah D., Craig C, Lisa C., “Frankie,” Liz L, and Greg, ECRM’s current president...and so many more! I would not have been successful as a CPG consultant without the guidance, support, and opportunities ECRM has provided. I am here at the Cough Cold ECRM with my newest client, ManukaGuard, as my 302nd event and this just might be my best event ever judging from the results of the first day

ECRM for Canada Session

ECRM does a great job connecting buyers and sellers. The pre-scheduled meetings are an efficient way to connect with busy category managers. The meetings are set in advance so you know exactly who you will meet with and can focus your presentation to meet their needs. The in person sessions are great so you can physically demonstrate and sample your products but the virtual meetings eliminate travel time and offer a wider variety of retailers who can take meetings from anywhere. Highly recommended!

ECRM is a winning format

In my experience, ECRM events are very effective at creating new business discussions with strategic target accounts. The structured meetings create near term as well as pipeline opportunties. A superior investment versus a traditional trade show.

The overall experience with the ECECRM conference is the place to be!

The overall experience with the ECRM conference was wonderful, from the beginning exchange with Tyler getting our company set up to the actual conference. Caroline's communication was outstanding throughout the entire process, and to be honest, she is the best I've worked with at any industry conference. The room set up was spot on, the caliber of customers was great and the number of suppliers was not overwhelming. This ratio was spot on. Looking forward to exhibiting next year!

GREATER THAN - SOFT Launch into Retail with ECRM

The team at ECRM this week was incredible. We entrusted ECRM to take our 15-Year-Old, Direct to Consumer brand to the shelf. Strategically, worked with our partners at ECRM and they delivered. With their resources, we exceeded our goals. The whole team made the brand teams feel like royalty. We can't wait to be back in February. Thank you to the Buyers, the ECRM team, the Logistics company and to our broker for making it such a stellar first showing! (Snaps to Jaime, Jocelyn, Leslie and Laura - you all were 5 STAR amazing!)
