Their team were meant to come out Kings birthday which was Monday public holiday. I had a chance to work but I called them the week prior and they were certain they would be there. One guy showed up complaining how big the job was and tried talking me into something I didn’t want. When I asked where his team of guys were he said one was at another job and was 4 hours away. This tradie eventually agreed to fit the 4 split systems but expressed unhappiness the whole time. About an hour after starting I asked again where the other guy was. He said he won’t be coming. He has a concert to go to tonight he said. So, this guy continues to just fit the 4 units inside until he yells in pain that he had done his back. I put all his tools in the back of his Ute and told him to seek medical help. I contacted Electrify me and explained I now had no heating at all. It’s winter and they left my family and I without heating for 8 days. I was liaising with Jamie the CEO of this company most of the time as his customer service crew had no communication skills or order. I was told that I’d be looked after blah blah blah. 8 days later I had 7 or 8 guys there rushing to finish the job as well as fit a solar battery. They didn’t talk to me as I felt they knew I had put in a complaint. The job was tacky with a huge mess left behind. One split system in my daughters room has a huge hole behind it where she now has bugs and spiders coming into her room. I contacted them and sent photos like they asked and still no response. They left plaster dust all over the bedrooms/ beds, screws throughout the house, broken chunks of bricks around the outside of my verandah. Jamie had promised footy tickets which I didn’t really care for but never received. From an ad that said 4 split systems from $1500 with government rebates. I’m now in debt $11k. Biggest regret I had deciding to go ahead with Electrify Me. I guess you got to be ruthless and take advantage of people to get ahead! Absolutely disgusting.

Do not use this company. Once they have your money, they don't seem to care.

I had a central split system installed and also paid for an electrical switchboard upgrade.

The installation team appeared rushed from the moment they arrived. They did not clean up after themselves, and I had to vacuum dust and debris from every room they worked in. They also did not properly walk me through the installation. Instead, they simply asked me to sign the paperwork and left, explaining that they were in a hurry to get to another job.

The biggest shock came when I looked at the front of the house after the installation was complete. There was a large, unsightly drainage pipe running down the wall at the main entrance to our home. We had discussed two possible locations for the unit, and I specifically said I would rely on their advice as the experts. At no point was it explained to me that selecting this location would result in visible external drainage pipework at the front entrance. Had this been explained, I would have chosen the alternative location.

To make matters worse, since the switchboard upgrade was completed, our house regularly trips whenever multiple appliances are being used or when we charge our EV. This is extremely disappointing considering we paid a significant amount of money for the upgrade.

When I raised these issues with Electrify Me, they agreed that someone would come out to inspect and rectify the problems. What followed has been over two months of delays, broken promises and missed appointments.

I have now taken time off work on three separate occasions to be home for scheduled appointments, only for nobody to arrive. No call, no notice, no respect for my time.

The lack of accountability and professionalism has been staggering. My experience has been that they are very responsive while securing the sale, but once they have been paid, getting them to follow through on their commitments becomes extremely difficult.

I rarely leave negative reviews, but after months of frustration, missed appointments and unresolved issues, I feel compelled to warn others about my experience.

Really enjoyed the experience working with ElectrifyMe. My only complaint is their "after sales" communication. You have to hound them to get any response.

That said, I am sure it's because they are so busy not deliberately trying to be difficult. If I had to do it again I would make 100% sure I had mobile phone numbers of the salesperson and their installations manager so I could hound them directly :).

This cost them a star.
