Really great experience buying the bike shipping company handled great and delivered with loads of updates. The customer service is the best ive had contact with really helpful genuine staff. The bike is outstanding really nice quality flys up some really steap hills on the coast with ease really enjoy dodling round the countryside, i dont need an ebike as im healthy and young but still makes riding so enjoyable and care free recomend them too anyone interested.

I strongly advise everyone to stay away from the ENGWE E26.
I bought this bike brand new, expecting a reliable product, but from the very first weeks it started causing serious problems. The pedal assist failed almost immediately, and despite multiple attempts, the issue has never been properly resolved.
The battery performance is far below what is advertised, and I had to change batteries during my commute even on flat roads. On top of that, parts started failing quickly – the rear brake broke, components rusted, screws loosened, and the bike became unsafe to ride.
Customer service has been extremely disappointing. They keep sending replacement parts instead of providing a real solution. I was even sent to a repair shop that had no idea about my case, no parts, and couldn’t even fix the issue. I wasted my time and still have a faulty bike.
This is not what you expect from a “new” product. It feels like a low-quality or refurbished bike rather than a premium one.
Overall, poor build quality, unreliable performance, and terrible after-sales support.
Do yourself a favour: avoid ENGWE and especially the E26 model.

The problem the bike developed was entirely my own fault. I lost the seat post bushing inside the frame meaning the seat quick release would not grip the seat post.
After asking for the bike serial number etc, ENGWE wee happy to courier me a replacement at no cost to myself.
Very good customer service. Very happy customer.

I reported to Engwe that my kit of a few spare nuts and bits supplied with my new bike did not contain a pair of break disk pads. They asked for my order no and supplied a pair within a short period of time

I bought a e 26 e-bike from ENGWE which developed a fault with the headlight which would not turn off because the bike was under warranty I contacted them the service I received was excellent they sent me out various parts which fixed the fault could not fault the service thanks

I've had my bike for 2 years but needed new brakes and disks. The Customer Service Team were very helpful and the parts needed were received in a week. I would highly recommend.

I recently had an issue that required contacting the Engwe Support team. I was helped by Raina who was fantastic. The service was prompt, professional, and they handled the situation to my complete satisfaction. It's great to know that Engwe stands behind their bikes with reliable and cooperative after-sales service. Highly recommend!

True stats on the Engwe E26
I weight 100kg with clothing
They say the bike can do 140km/86 miles
NO IT DOES NOT. HALF THAT.
THEY TESTED THE BIKE WITH SOMEONE WHO WEIGHTS 75KG ON A STRAIGHT ROAD IN CALIFORNIA IN SUMMER.
NOW THE FACTS WITH MY WEIGHT.
TODAYS WEATHER (December) 30/35 miles summer 35/45 miles
PAS 1,2,3 you get the same milage you do not get anymore from it.
I wish company'S would truly test the bikes and test it with more people's weight that would solve a lot of problems.
I live in the UK not in the USA and the roads are not like the States unless you ride on the motorway.
The bike is great but the range is no where near what they state.
Lastly when you get down to 2 bars you start to feel the weight of the bike.
Should you buy (YES)
Would be better if they could put a range on the screen so you know how far you get on the bike so you don't lose your charge and have to walk with the bike which could be a problem with its weight.
I have had the bike now for a year and been around a lot in this last year on it testing everything, just need the see the range on the dash instead of bars.
Engwe need to put on the site how the bike is tested you only get to know if you ask them.

Ordered the bike not realising a price drop for Christmas was coming the next day! Emailed support and Engwe refunded half the difference! They didn’t have to do anything but I was very impressed that they were kind enough to refund. Delivery company Engwe used were good, excellent communication. Am enjoying the bike muchly!

After placing a previous review shortly after purchasing an Engwe E26 ebike, I feel I am compelled to write another positive review.
I had a issue with the front headlight on my E26. The Light came on as soon as the bike was powered up, but noticed it was only partially illuminated as you can appreciate it, only owning the bike less than 3 months I was dissapointed.
However, I contacted Engwe and had a response from a lady called "Tracy" within 24 hours who sent me a new replacement front light under warranty, where it arrived 7 days later. Sadly, as I suspected this didn't resolve the problem.
I contacted Tracy at Engwe again, where said she would forward out a new Controller, which arrived within 10 days and after fitting it, i was relieved it had resolved headlight issue.
I must be honest, I was very dubious about ordering a Chinese ebike and more so dealing with their customer services if an issue should happen. However, my concerns were soon laid to rest, as Engwe were absolutely FANTASTIC and would especially like to praise Tracy for her help and guidance on my issue.
If ANYONE is thinking of purchasing a Chinese brand of Ebike, look no further than ENGWE.
Brilliant, brilliant,brilliant!

Excellent company. Quality product and great service. I bought a bicycle that was my best purchase this year. It arrived with a scratched rear fender, I requested an exchange by email and the team was super helpful and sent me the replacement ahead of schedule.

I can’t explain how happy I am with the service provided by the Engwe support team. Over the past few days, I was really stressed because the headlight on my e-bike wasn’t working. I informed the service team just once, and within a few days they sent me a brand-new light. Seriously, this is amazing and very helpful service.
From my side, it’s definitely 5 out of 5. Even when I bought my Engwe M20, they sent me a very nice gift pack filled with a jacket, a cap, and lots of other great items.
