I was one of the early backers in 2017 and still waiting for a refund of my money after they kept my device when I sent in for repair under warranty. Comms with the leadership and investors only gave promises but still haven't refunded my 1400 usd in 5 years...I don't understand how they are still in business and more over why they wouldn't just refund my money or give me a new device? They obviously don't care about the customer part of customer service....buyer beware!

I pre ordered this monitor almost 3 years ago at this point and at about 2 years I bought something else since the technology was pretty common now. Well 4 months ago I asked for a refund on my deposit and long behold 4 months later when the company runs out of excuses to tell you when your refund is delayed, they just stop responding.

This is a scam. They keep claiming to update and improve the product rather than actually, ship something. I prepaid the spectrum monitor two years ago & was told to pay the remaining amount in January. Eve have since January try to make me make additional payments over 6 times & now notified the product will be half a year further delayed.

I placed a deposit for the original spectrum monitor before it was delayed countless times. I ended up going with a different product because of this. They now continue to make excuses to send me back my fully refundable deposit.
Still no monitor after 7 months!
I ordered my monitor in August 2021, I still have not taken delivery of said monitor as of March 2022 even though they have charged me for it and had me pay 44 euros extra for delivery.
This company is a joke, I honestly would not bother buying anything from them. I regret ordering from them.

I ordered months ago, they keep delaying the shipment, but always only for a week or two at a time. Though they of course know that's not true.
Got upgraded to express shipping, have multiple emails confirming this.
Just asked where my unit is, they don't know and they apparently send it with normal/slow shipping. Probably gonna take months still.
Keep away from this company, they clearly don't understand how to run a company on this scale!

Finally received the monitor and the stand today.
The stand is broken.
All the extra I ordered, wasn't in the package.
So now I have a monitor I can't use.
This is redicolous!

My eve KEYBOARD DIED after 10 months of use. Never got a replacement. I am using a cheap one from Amazon.
And the HARDISK just got TOASTED after 2 years.
I emailed them for everything but they don't even answer my emails.
I see many people complaining. Better get a known brand. At least you will have replacements and some kind of guarantee.
No product received after two months
Yes, the support is answering fast, but to tell you the same thing each time:
"Unfortunately, due to the supply chain issues, we have not been able to secure the stock needed to send your order at the time."
It's a shame because the product are nice with interesting specs, but seriously more than 2 months for a mouse pad, that's too much. The problem is not supply chain issue, the problem is poor stock management. If you don't have a product, mark it as Out of stock.
I asked for a refund 3 months after the initial order, after another estimation was not respected.

Awful customer service. Customers are fed lie after lie as to when they will receive the product. Then if you decide to ask for a refund, they will make that so difficult that decide to keep holding on with false hope

My personal experience is it has been 4 years now since my original Eve V tablet PC order, which was never fulfilled. Despite going through every step of their support process, filling out online forms, etc, I have never been refunded for my order. They lied to my credit card company to dodge my disputed charge. They have blogged about refunds starting soon, responded to support tickets about "refunds in X month", etc and still absolutely nothing to make the customers they have scammed whole.
Shell company within shell company to make a class action lawsuit not viable. This was designed as a scam from the start.

I pre-ordered EVE Spectrum pretty early on. They had delays due to covid as everyone else did. When it came time to shipping there was a lot of confusion for people and understandably so, however, reading what was actually written properly would alleviate a lot of stress.
I got the fulfillment email I think near end of May, there was an option for express shipping which was significantly more due to import taxes in Canada and there was regular by boat shipment which was cheap....and extremely slow because that alone would have taken like 3 months easy + add covid to the situation and all the trade route slowdowns across the globe it'll easily take even longer than 3 months but I guess I'm one of the few who pays attention to the news. Anyways, I went with express and my order arrived in about 3 weeks (shipped from china).
Packaging is excellent, all easy recyclable materials (no Styrofoam).
The monitor is amazing, I left a pretty lengthy review of it on the eve.community site "4K 144hz (My FIRST hi-ref monitor!) tests with pics (gaming, hdr600, and more)" so you can check out the review there but to sum it up. I'm extremely happy with the monitor. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because of the flicker issues and troubleshooting I needed to go through to fix that (I'm used to just plugging in a monitor and done). I have *not* updated firmware (i'm using original launch day firmware) because I'm waiting for a proper firmware update that resolves issues created by existing updates.
Overall it's still an excellent monitor, I am very happy with my purchase and I actually regret not getting 2 or 3 at time of preorder as now its too expensive when converting to CAD. It's also unfortunate others have had a lot of issues with shipping but I can't blame EVE entirely, I think a lot of folks did not read the details of how shipping works correctly.

This company should not in any way shape or form be used. This isn't just a jilted customer being angry on the internet, this is a stark warning.
Ordered the 4K Eve Spectrum in Jan 2020 with a Q4 release date. Pushed back into the start of 2021 with other models which were set to originally be released first, pushed out of their windows into 'whenever.' A couple of delays further, in May I received a message telling me my order was due to ship and I should pay in full which I did that day. Come November 26th 2021 and still no monitor and very little direct correspondence as to what happened. Looking at their overly sarcastic and rude FB comments to customers I have learned a number of things that have never been officially communicated.
1. People who paid the $100 express shipping were bumped to the front of the queue and received their monitors months early rather than the few weeks of difference it says on the site.
2. They say this is because express is shipped directly from their manufacturer rather than routed locally. Something the site doesn't mention and still wouldn't account for an 8 month delay.
3. They blamed the delay on global freight shipping delays. 8 month delay? Really? Were they routed through Bermuda?
4. They have actually sold out of the monitors but are still taking orders with a January shipping despite so many unfulfilled customers.
5. Engadget have a video detailing how this is common for them with several users of their laptops not getting refunds, not getting their product and being ignored when their products broke within warrenty.
6. LinusTechTips also mentioned in their review of the spectrum that Eve have a habit of pushing back dates and unfulfilling customers.
7. If you are purchasing now you can actually buy monitors with the same specs at the same price and you don't have to wait forever with no certainty when and if they will arrive.
Do not purchase from them. All shipping dates are false and they will sit on your money in the hopes you don't cancel and you may struggle to get it back if you do!
Reserved an EVE Spectrum with a stand…
Reserved an EVE Spectrum with a stand on January 29th 2020 and paid out the full amount on May 25th 2021, fulfillment wise I was promised to be among the first to receive my order because I was among the first to reserve and pay.
Nearly two years after reserving and half a year after paying in full, I have still not received my order and been lied to on multiple occasions as to when I can expect to receive it, as it stands i might not receive anything in 2021 while later orders are being fulfilled.
Avoid this company at all costs, they do not care about doing right by their customers.

Finally received my order on December 15th and it came in great condition, the product seems really well made from the few hours I have tested it now.
I will not upgrade the review from 1/5 stars since the product being good does not excuse blatantly lying to paying customers over and over, along with walking back on promises and not compensating customers for not getting the promised level of service they are paying for.

Just like many of these other early backers, I’m yet to receive my Spectrum monitor. It has been a rollercoaster of lies, and setbacks. I know it will eventually come, but a powerful lesson has been learned about this company. I recommend you look elsewhere for your monitor needs.
Another frustrated Spectrum early-backer
I'm an early backer of the project. Paid in full on May 25th. They told us our orders would be delivered in July which was a lie, the orders were at sea in August which was a lie, they told us our orders would be delivered in October which was a lie, they told us we would get tracking numbers last week which was a lie.
I'm sure the product is great (I would have no idea as I still haven't got a tracking number, its November), but the customer experience has been beyond woeful.
Maybe I'll update this review if the product is good but itll be capped at a maximum of 3/5 due to how s*** the customer experience has been.

I know this is a crowdfunded product, but that is a ridiculously long time.

Aqui estan expuestos todos los aspectos ,atrasos,cancelaciones y demas por oarte de los compradores,y rara vez hablan los de soporte de EVE.
Pagar 770 euros por un monitor y esperar tantos meses sin saber cuando,como y si llegara. ¿vale la pena ? Empiezo a dudar. Los que ya lo recibieron, dicen que vale la pena cada euro invertido.
¿Si el proceso de envio es tan largo?¿el servicio postventa si hay un problema o defecto sera igual o peor?
Los reembolsos estan tardando bastante para la gente que cancela y los 100€ de deposito pre reserva no los devuelven de momento.
EVE no da la cara en estos asuntos,¿quien nos asegura que lo haga si tu unidad falla?
