My husband purchased a Lydia Millen top handle bag for my birthday. Paid extra for next day delivery and we had to wait in for the DPD driver. Beautiful box, beautiful packaging. We took the bag out of the bag and took off the handle protector to find that there was a dark brown stain on one of the handles . Someone had obviously tried to peel the stain off taking the top coat of leather with it. There were also splodges of dark brown in the protector ( stain?)
We packaged everything up and then had to take time out today to queue at a post office to send it back. Remember he'd paid extra for fast delivery ? He called customer service who essentially apologised but said until the bag is returned they couldn't a bag back out despite them having email evidence it was on it's way to them . No offer of a refund of that postage cost let alone anything else. He's incredibly disappointed as he was excited for me to have this for my birthday. I adore Lydia Millen and hoped to buy all three bags but this experience has left a bad taste. If customer services had handled this better then it would be a different story . We've been incredibly put out having to return a defective bag that quality control should have picked up on and yet all we get is ' I'm sorry and we'll send out another when we get this back' . We're in business ourselves. If we have proof something is coming back to us, we go out of our way to bake sure the customer is recompensed for the inconvenience and we put it right ASAP. True shame as my birthday gift is now tainted .

***Update***
Customer services have been back in touch in response to an email from my husband following his initial call. Their email was exactly what we'd hoped for from our original call. Assurances that the new bag will double checked before sending and that I will receive my new bag ASAP. If all is well then I will definitely be a returning customer as I would love to get the Lydia Millen clutch in chocolate as my next bag. As mentioned , the bag it self was gorgeous, the leather just beautiful and the design is perfection.

My Husband gifted me the Regina, tan suede in flat, sporting fit option.

I was a bit worried as I’m petite, so the length of the boot comes up higher on my leg. However it’s not too bad a fit, they come up to a teeny bit below my knee. I wore them around the house to break in first. Very comfortable. Exquisite quality. These will last for years.

Beautiful looking trainers, by far the most uncomfortable ones I have ever bought unfortunately.

We have purchased many Fairfax items over the years and love all of them.

We had an issue with my wife’s Explorer boots, after speaking to Ciara and Angy the issue we had was sorted promptly and we never had to wait for a reply to any of our emails.

I understand things happen sometimes, but the way our issue was dealt with really shows how good a company is.

Due to this we will continue to purchase Fairfax items in the future.

Everything is of top-notch quality and will never go out of style. Fairfax & Favor products are definitely worth the investment.

Purchased my new Alexandra Trainers last month and they are just gorgeous! So comfortable and fit like lovely soft gloves. : ) In addition to that they are incredibly stylish and smart. They go with everything. So today's 'summer sale' couldn't resist and have ordered the plain white trainers as well. Signed up to all the company offers etc. and have entered two competitions! Love this company and their products. AI help desk was 100% helpful and efficient. Thank you F&F def my new fav company.

I am absolutely thrilled with my experience shopping at Fairfax & Favor. The shipping to Croatia was completely free, incredibly fast, and very straightforward. The coats are absolutely stunning, and the quality of the material and craftsmanship is exceptional. It is a true pleasure to buy from a luxury brand that offers such seamless international service. Highly recommended!

I purchased some vouchers for my friend's birthday and had no issues what so ever with that experience. Unfortunately, my friend misplaced the vouchers (from January 2026). I reached out to customer services and they were exceptional. They responded within a couple of hours with a replacement voucher, which my friend promptly spent!! A truly exceptional experience at the Fairfax & Favor Shaftesbury store.

Having visited the store several times since it opened, it had become clear that some of the products were firmly on the wish list rather than within the budget. After quietly saving for over a year to create a special birthday surprise, a personal shopping appointment was arranged with the help of Sarah, who immediately understood exactly what was being planned.

From the moment we arrived, the experience exceeded all expectations. A beautifully prepared shopping area had been set up with a selection of Regina boots, Windsor handbags and complementary pieces tailored to the brief. The thoughtful touches, including Prosecco, chocolates and a birthday card, made the occasion feel genuinely special and personal.

What stood out most was the outstanding service. The team's product knowledge, professionalism, enthusiasm and patience were faultless throughout. Nothing felt scripted or forced; it was simply a group of people who clearly cared about creating a memorable experience for their customers.

The purchases may have stretched the original budget slightly, but by that point it genuinely didn't matter. The experience itself was worth every penny. The unexpected Forces discount was also a much-appreciated gesture.

The appointment marked the culmination of more than a year's planning and saving, and thanks to Sarah and the rest of the Shaftesbury team, it became a memory that will be treasured for years to come. I have about 10 pairs of footwear from Fairfax and Favor. However I have a pair of jaguar Henley’s that I bought in 2022 and only wore them for the first time recently. After a few steps the plaited lace on one shoe broke at the back. Whist the staff at the Helmsley shop were really helpful and guided me to contact customer services from there it was really disappointing. I realise that the shoes are ‘time wise’ out of warranty but considering they are new and unworn, and my loyalty to the brand which could be seen from my account that they might have offered a repair as a gesture of goodwill. On the contrary they flat out refused saying they were out of the 18 month warranty even though they were clearly unworn. I will not be buying any more shoes again as a repair would have cost very little to them and shown them to be an excellent company.

Defective bag and customer services are completely unhelpful.

My wife as a huge fan of the company so I wanted to surprise her for our 25th wedding anniversary, she has had her eyes on a handbag for ages, and now was the perfect excuse. As previous buyers I have access to the app and loyalty program, so buying is super easy, I also have my blue light card attached to my account which gives me discount on all non sale items, adding this was easy, I provided evidence of my blue light card and Angy did the rest for me. The gift arrived by tracked delivery within 48 hours of purchase, very discreet packaging so my wife did not suspect anything. To say she was over the moon on our anniversary is an understatement, as always the item was beautifully wrapped, which is such a nice touch, the card I wrote was present so another nice touch, the bag looked outstanding, and will match her boots perfectly. I very happy Mrs Davies.

I have also ordered online, delivered by DPD which never arrived. Emailed Fairfax and Favour, they responded so quickly with a lovely message and a replacement order sent to me, the postage I paid was returned as store credit.
Fabulous products, the store was such a wonderful place to enjoy the afternoon, the customer care and service is excellent. Definitely recommend.

Myself and my sister-in-law visited the Bakewell store recently and the customer service we received was exceptional.

We were helped by Jess, who not only provided expert help on the brancasters that my sister in law bought, but also helped me secretly buy her the navy Tetbury without her knowing. She was just brilliant!

I also bought the beautiful tan and navy mini Windsor that accompanied me to a wedding the following day, and my brother and sister-in-law returned to buy my brother a belt. The same girl remembered the secret bag experience and continued with her exceptional customer service.

Jess deserves a special shout out because she really did go above and beyond to execute a plan to buy that Tetbury in secret and the plan worked a treat! We are already hashing out a plan to return!
