I didn't look at the reviews until AFTER I completed my purchase. It left me paranoid as heck, so I immediately called the toll-free phone number. My agent was Michal Brown and he was FABULOUS! I shared my concerns based on what I read in reviews on this site, and to reassure me he promised that:

A. I would NOT incur any extra charges beyond what my confirmation stated.
B. My flight ABSOLUTELY WAS TICKETED.
C. Should I have ANY ISSUES, he would personally address them.

Therefore, while on the phone, he sent me a personal test email; and because I hadn't received my official travel info yet, he re-sent that email also (twice). Once we hung up and I received my e-ticket info, I logged onto the airline's site (Virgin Miami) to confirm that I really did have a ticket... and YES I REALLY DID HAVE A TICKET! Lastly, I called the airline for further confirmation, and the airline also confirmed that everything was booked and confirmed.

The main reason I decided to take a moment to leave this review is because I am a student going on a study abroad trip (to Miami ) where cost matters a LOT! Had I gone solely off of other people's experiences and reviews, I would have caused myself to spend more money than necessary by not booking through this very reputable company. It seems that when we have good consumer experiences, we are much less likely to share, than when we have bad experiences. This was a wonderful experience!

By the way, PLEASE take a moment to read the terms and conditions before completing your purchase so that you are fully aware of the parameters of your purchase!

I wanted to buy a ticket from new york to on farebarber. The best offer was from Airtickets delta, so I selected this option and paid for the tickets without reading any reviews about this company. The tickets would normally cost 1600 per passenger and I bought them for 500 each!
This was the first time, when I was buying tickets alone (my parents always booked them), so I decided to read some reviews on the next day, to ensure that it's not a fraud.
All over the internet I could see reviews, saying that this company is a scam. Many reviewers said, that the company misspelled their names, so that they had to cancel the booking. I was terrified and wanted to file a credit card chargeback immediately.
I went to the bank to do the chargeback but I decided to try to call Japan airlines first and ask about the booking. They confirmed, that everything was ok with the booking and there is no reason to worry. So I was happy that I did not have to dispute the transaction.
Don't believe all the reviews, that it's a scam. Their tickets are very cheap for a reason. You can't cancel the tickets once they are paid. So this is the only negative thing about this company. They charge a huge penalty for any change or cancellation of booking.
And don't forget, that they will add "MS" or "MR" to your name on the plane ticket, you don't have to worry about it. The airlines accept it like this. I could see my name on the plane ticket written as Misakims, instead of Misaki.

They helped me and was easy to call and talk to

Since I love to travel by myself I need to make all arrangements within my budget. This website is a huge help. Tickets here are cheaper than others. I have always managed a good deal, including my last trip to Singapore for which I got the tickets at a discounted price.

I booked a flight and somehow the dates were incorrect on the booking. I tried many times to speak to someone about fixing it but was told it would cost me $600 to correct. I finally got in touch with a supervisor by the name of Michal . Michal essentially did everything in his power to help improve my experience and in the end they changed the dates, even though it was at a loss for them (I paid for half). Most businesses won't do that for someone, so I appreciated the gesture very much and will continue to book with this site.

Everyone was so great to work with My consultant and other staff were very helpful and friendly. There was no trouble or issues at all just a smooth process

I bought a ticket with the best price available. After checking with every price comparing website, no one was near cheaper. After buying, I searched Google for farebarber and these reviews came up. I was in shock and fear that I lost my money. I am happy to inform that there was nothing to worry about. I had a small problem, got answered immediately in chat and got the airline confirmation number. I don't know what most of these complaints are about, But I had good experience with them and got the best price available around and I should add that the tickets were bought on short notice. thanks Michal Brown

This is as classic as bait-and-switch scams get. You "book" your flight on their web site, and then you get an email saying that the booking is "pending". Within a few business hours, you'll get a call telling you that tickets at those prices have all been booked and offer you tickets at a higher price which they ASSURE you is still a great deal, despite better prices being available on Kayak, Expedia, and any other reputable booking site.

I booked 3 flight tickets through Farebarber with affordable prices and the customer representative was very responsive and helpful. I’m very pleased.
