The staff are extremely rude to foreigners; in that I speak English, whether it was to order coffee, or ask instructions / directions I was either ignored or dismissed, throughout numerous interactions. Even though I had already paid for a seat, it took me a long time to find my way on my own. I hated travelling in your ferry service.

Since then, and only after I complained and gave you a bad review, you reached out and explained the process involved in recovering my money… It’s a pity you didn’t reach out before I complained and told people what would happen in the event of a cancellation… I am happy to withdraw the stinging parts of my review because of what you have now done…

We are sorry for the frustration caused by the cancelled voyage, but we must strongly object to the characterization of our company.
To clarify the facts: your voyage was cancelled due to an official sailing ban issued by the Port Authorities because of severe weather conditions. This is a matter of public safety and is entirely outside of our control.
The refund process for such cancellations follows a standard industry practice: we must first receive the approved credit from the ferry company before we can issue the refund to the customer. This process can sometimes take up to 30 days. We confirm that all necessary procedures on our end were initiated immediately.
We are pleased to inform you that the refund has now been approved by the ferry company and will be logistically processed within the next 1-2 business days.
We are disappointed by the language used in your review. Such characterizations do not reflect our team, which works diligently to provide the best possible support, especially in difficult situations like this. It seems this is your first experience with a ferry cancellation, as the requirement for a processing period is standard practice in the industry.
UPDATED: We hope this explanation clarifies the procedure. Now that the matter has been resolved with the processing of your refund, we would appreciate it if you would kindly reconsider your review based on these facts and the final outcome.

To help clarify, two separate, automated systems are involved. Our system sends the booking confirmation with your e-ticket immediately after a successful purchase. Separately, the review invitation is sent automatically by the independent review platform, Trustpilot, after they are notified of a transaction. We do not control the timing of their emails.
We have resent your confirmation email to ensure you have it readily available, and we kindly suggest checking your spam/junk folder as well.

Camper tickets Zakintos will cost you twice
When we buy ticket in ferries.gr we need only check checkbox that we will go with auto (there is written that campers are included) but when we wanted to go on ship, officier said that we paid for ordinary car not campercar and need to change tickets. Price difference was 126eur. If we knew that going to zakintosh for one day will cost us alltogether 250eur, we would not buy ticket. Ferries.gr website needs to be reprogrammed. Brought us dissapointment.

- In the next step, our system displays only the specific vehicle categories that the ferry company allows for online booking through agencies. As you would have noticed, the only options available were for standard cars (e.g., up to 4.25m or less than 4.25m). The "Camper" category was not listed because this specific ferry operator does not grant access for this vehicle type to be booked by third-party agents; they handle it directly.
- The system, therefore, correctly booked the standard car category that was selected from the available options, and the price difference was charged at the port by the operator for the correct vehicle classification.
For any future booking, if you notice that your specific vehicle type is not available, we encourage you to contact our support team so we can assist you.
We hope this step-by-step explanation clarifies the process. Based on this, we would be grateful if you would reconsider your rating of our platform's functionality.
