Really expensive. CBS often unavailable and constant streaming problems ... getting worse.
Poor performance and rude customer care
The service is hit and miss. I complained about buffering and freezing and received the following response, which demonstrates they also have a client care problem:
"I need to inform you that any action from our site hasn't been done as I still haven't got from you the required result of our diagnostic test particularly.
Our technical team still wasn't informed about your information as they aren't able to make any investigation without the result of our diagnostic test particularly.
So - it just confirms that your problem is related to your site.
If you have the same problem in the future - please, send to us also the required test if you like to get our assistance.

Used to be good but they are now awful
I have been a faithful customer of Filmon for a number of years but this year the service is awful. They have blamed my internet but this is rubbish as I have switched to a much cheaper provider and have had no problems at all. They refused to give me a refund. I would not recommend this service to anyone now. There are cheaper, better and more reliable alternative providers.
Awesome Content!
Love the app, I am hooked. The content is amazing and I use the app all the time. I watch Live TV on this and love it especially on my travels, it keeps me connected. I pay for the subscription and find it absolutely worth it.
Expensive and bad customer service
I deleted the app ages and I thought I had unsubscribed I got a bill for €14.95 when I contacted FilmOnTv for a refund they refused to give one even though I stated I couldn’t affordi it will never use it again
Difficult customer service
Difficult customer service. They quote small print but don't show their business address online. Recurring payment with hard to find opt out is their speciality. They did however reimburse a double payment which happened by accident, but it seems like pot luck as to which representative you get.
Change in PayPal payment process...
Have been with FilmOn for three years using PayPal on an annual subscription of 149€ and so far all has been okay. Yesterday the service stopped working so I contacted their Support email. They were fairly quick in replying and advised that they have some form of issue with PayPal which means they cannot use them for subscription renewals. Our subscription ran out four days ago so we assumed it would automatically be paid via PayPal. FilmOn offered a credit card option instead, but looking at the 'Authorize.Net' security stamp I realised it is not the same as the security payment company it refers to (not sure why?). I asked if it was possible to still pay by PayPal but they advised that at the moment all you can do is pay by credit card, but I don't feel 100% reassured about their payment security with credit cards. They've advised me that I will have to wait until they get PayPal back again but there's no reference to a date when this could possibly happen. I have been given a link to the news section to keep checking on for any new info about PayPal use again. After three years of being happy with the service my access is now stopped unless I want to pay directly by credit card. Luckily I'm not being charged for anything as PayPal have cancelled to payment link, but it would be nice to have the PayPal option back. Has anyone else had this issue?
Reoccurring Subscriptions by default
Beware all subscriptions will renew by default. If you take it for one month it will auto renew and bill you. If you go to support they are very unsympathetic and will point you to the small print.

Have used app for 7 years and only problem is slight buffering if our internet is slow. Renewed subscription in may last year then found filmon had automatically renewed so had taken fee twice. Contacted them and money was returned to card within an hour.

I have been using filmon for more than 4 years and have hardly had any problems with them... a few months ago i couldnt view as my subscription was stopped, they contacted me to say i had to re subscribe , when i did i found out it had been increased by 5 euro, which i have gladly paid.... the only thing i don't like is that they don't send an email once a month to say it has been renewed otherwise i can't fault them as when the few times i have had a problem they have always replied very quickly...

No customer support
I have had a subscription for about 2 years with a monthly charge to PayPal account. Suddenly, they stopped debiting the account in January and I don't have English TV anymore!
Have sent several mails, but no reply.

Prolongation!?: Credit Card Drawdown
In October, accidentally signed up for an HQ item, not understanding it wasn’t TV channel access. I emailed their Support my mistake.
On Reviewing my Visa, late December/early January, drawdown was continuing! Again, I challenged what they were doing, by email. This time, a reply, but they cited a delay in being able to effect a cancellation. Maybe needs scrutiny of the regulator. Am a pensioner and my weekly food budget has taken a hit. Not good enough.

Ive used Filmon for many years now and have always been very happy with the service and support.
My subscription as gone through PayPal but last month my subscription was not taken. and suddenly ended. I contacted support, and they said that they have been having issues and i would need to re-subscribe. But they gave me a free month for the in connivance, So far so good .. But now they want me to pay 19,65 Euros instead of the 14,65 euros, and to boo reduced my recording space by 1 hr to 10 hrs. Feels like loyal customers are not appreciated. Anyway I will not be subscribing again. Going to give MuchoTv a go instead. Shame .. :-(
Unaware of subscription payments
I had a subscription with filmon.com for a number of years. I thought that I had cancelled the subscription but noticed after a year the subscription was active and was still drawing payments. Since filmon.com provide no email or notification for payments this went on unnoticed. I contacted support but they were completely unhelpful. Felt like taking subscription payments without customer being fully aware was part of the business model. Extremely poor. I have just asked them to remove my account. Would not trust this company.

FilmOn tv is okay. It is a good app. The only reason I give it too three stars is I am not too happy with it because it has no Irish tv stations on it like RTÉ channels virgin media television channels and TG4 Irish language tv station so if Irish people living abroad and have film on tv on their laptop computers or smartphones or smart tablets or smart televisions and have no Irish channels how are they going to keep in touch what’s happening back in Ireland. so not good at all so if film on tv could put Irish tv stations on film on it will be nice. I stopped using this app months and months ago,this was due to it being terrible,worst overpriced app ever,real crap,I wish I knew who the developers were so I could take legal action.

Be careful if you wish to try them, the second month they are going to charge you unless you cancel the automatic renewal. it is an easy way for them to make money on a service that isn't worth the money you paid. Rip off! Be careful what you say, if you call them Thieves (which I think they are), they threaten to sue you.
