Filmon - cut off while paid up until May 2021.
Hello! I live in Spain and have happily paid my Filmon subscription for many years(and also enjoyed it free at the beginning). But approximately last Monday 28/09/2020, I was cut off, no communication, and asked to pay a new rate of 200€ per annum (previously 149€, which I paid in May 2020, so not due until May 2021!) I have written to them twice at 2 different email addresses, one the advertised one, the other Wordpress but have had no reply. At first I thought it was a scam. Needless to say, I am now searching for another company to supply me with British TV. Any similar experiences or opinions?
Disgusting service
Disgusting service, tried to cancel online but couldn't as they made it so hard. Sent email to cancel and they ignored and still money out for next month. Avoid this company at all costs.

Often didn't work. Very difficult to cancel, and checking records realised they have been taking the subscription twice a month (around 4 and 17th of each month) from my account . Very dishonest, AVOID AT ALL COST.

Subscribed to watch the "Vienna Royal Orchestra" on 01/01/2020.
FilonTV then auto-charged for Feb 2020. I cancelled this entire subscription on the same day.
Today, 04/05/2020, FilmonTV again charged my credit card for a months subscription.
How/Where do I remove my credit card details from my FilonTV account?

My account is showing subscription cancelled, yet they still took the money. Beware of this company they are a nightmare, poor picture quality and even worse customer service. TV Mucho far better and cheaper.

Awful service. When I complained they said I must have a bad internet connection....only I don’t and the only thing not working is FilmOn....it’s just got worse and worse.....so frustrating- just want to watch TV and am willing to pay....yet it never works

I really hope that everyone reading these reviews, takes this warning VERY, VERY seriously.
Filmon's website threw me out whilst I was booking a one month subscription.
Then it would not allow me to re-register under the same email address.
I then registered using an alternative email address and my application was accepted.
I then found out that FilmOn had taken payment for both my application attempts and the payments were for the same IP address and for the same dates.
They know exactly what they are doing when they refuse to repay any of the overpaid subscriptions.
They simply refuse to do the honorable thing even though they know they are simply CHEATING THEIR CUSTOMERS.
My experience in life is that eventually CHEATS don't win.
I hope this applies to FilmOn.

Awful! The thing I don't understand is that there was a point in time I used the service and it worked. Then they made it subscription only, I subscribed having previously enjoyed their content, for a couple of days it worked, then nothing worked and according to my account I had no subscription despite evidence of paying for it. I contacted them, no reply, I tried through paypal buyer protection, they said that because it worked initially that they can't do anything since what I purchased was "as described"! going to try the ombudsman then claims court... stay away from filmon!!!

Free, no way. I don't remember why I signed in to their "service" on 2016 or if I signed.
Did not use it anyway. And now suddenly out of blue they start to charge monthly payments from my bank account after two years! And without informing a customer, why are they doing this!

Bad Experience
Signed up for monthly TV after receiving freestreaming on the initial period. Free streaming was good - very reliable. After not subscribing decided to sign up this month to watch tennis. HOWEVER it seems that there are certain restrictions (currently BBC1 and 2 do not work when Wimbeldon is on!) No reply to email and no info on website. Not impressed.
Bad experience and actually worse ever had...
From past experience I have to say worse company I have ever dealt with as Affiliate. Constant hassles and excuses.
You would think the billionaire Alki David would respect the hard work of Affiliates but honestly do not think he cares. He still touts FilmOn via Twitter @alkidavid though...
If you are considering becoming an Affiliate for FilmOn forget it, they are closing down the program end of May 2017. Promise is to pay all monies owed to Affiliates by end of June.
Filmon affiliates not being paid
I presume they're having money problems, maybe they have court cases looming, also I've seen a post about them trying to get funding/investment. They owe me around £250 for the affiliate scheme and they are not paying.
It has been well over 60 days (their T&C says payment within 60 days). Now they're ignoring my emails.
In the past, sometimes a payment was late and I would email the office and somebody would sort it out. Now that the helpful member of staff (Sophia) and another helpful person (Anca) don't work for the company any more, my emails are being ignored. Email addresses affiliatesATfilmon.com or supportATfilmon.com (both go to the same place) and the reply is always "we will forward this message on to the affiliates department".
Now they are just ignoring me, heck I even messaged one of their managers twice now (Aline, who seems ignorant/useless) and the company director on Facebook and haven't had a reply from either of them. I will cease to use them at the end of this month and take them to court once the monthly statements have been published and I get a total of what they owe me.
It wouldn't be so bad if payment was late but acknowledged and somebody replied, it's made worse by them ignoring me. Not acceptable!
