I normally don’t write a review but I had to this yesterday I call the help desk because I had a problem with the filter I been using from them the nice lady listen to me without interrupting me with so much professionalism and concern about my issues not only she fix the issue they sent me 2 filters for free I have a business so I know how important customer service is so I give them a 10 out of 10 and I will continue to give them my money and when it come to air conditioning filters kudos to everyone involved to make the customer happy.

This FILTERBUY.com appears to be sort of shady.
I was checking them out out the first time and ran a purchase on my PayPal intending to see what extra charges they had in store there. Because sellers like Filterbuy will often have surprise fees and unprompted subscriptions at the end.

I clicked on 'REVIEW YOUR ORDER" and then, THANK YOU FOR YOUR ORDER.
Wait ! I did not hit submit. And when I looked at the receipt , after it finally hit my email, it also shows I signed up for a box of 6 filters every 3 months. But I know the 'ONE TIME PURCHASE' box was checked.

I sent multiple emails to them and thankfully Jed in Customer Service issued a refund.

Filterbuy.com is not the place I would buy filters even if they weren't corrupt.
Because, First, I couldn't find any filters under the standard MERV 8.

That's the air flow rating, the higher the MERV number, the more the fan has to work.
I like MERV 5 or 6 as it cools my house down faster, and since I don't have any pets and very little dust, I don't need a hard filter.

And, Second, after comparing the AC filter prices on Amazon to Filterbuy's prices, they're about the same or a little less on Amazon.

The difference is Amazon has my filters to me in that same day. And shipping is always free with my PRIME membership.
And I don't have to be on guard for getting locked into a subscription to purchase without my consent.

Product is satisfactory. Prices have risen 23.6% in exactly one years time. Paid $98.64 for an order of (4) 24x25x4 MERV 11 filters in April of 2025. The Rebuy price on April 8, 2026 was $121.96.

Ok, I am officially impressed. I ordered on a Sunday and my filters arrived the next day. They were shrink wrapped but each filter was in perfect condition. I ordered direct from Filterbuy. I did not go through Amazon although they do have a storefront there. These were Merv 8, pack of 6 filters, 16x20x1.

This terrible company sends cheap, poorly-made filters with specs that vary GREATLY from the stated size of the filters, and then they charge for returns. They’re first rate scammers who waste your time and steal your money. The customer service team is awful to deal with. Absolutely avoid purchasing from this company at all costs!

I BUY 16X25X4 FURNACE FILTERS. ORDERED FROM FILTERBUY AND THE ONES I GOT (SIZE WAS MARKED CORRECT) ARE NOTICABLY SMALLER THAN STANDARD. THEY ARE SHORTER AND THINNER THAT OTHER BOUGHT AT HOME DEPOT THAT ARE VERY UNIFORM IN SIZE. THIS PRODUCT IS SMALLER AND COULD CAUSE PROBLEMS.

If there were an option for a star rating, I would select –10.
While this company may offer good prices, their customer service is the worst. The staff is not friendly, and their communication is very poor. Because of this experience, I will not work with this company again.
You can find the same pricing through other wholesalers or even on Amazon.

I ordered 6 filters. They were shipped with shrink wrap not in a box so all six were damaged. I called to get a replacement they shipped half the order and it was damaged. I refused the delivery. I requested a full refund and i was told that they have to submit a claim through the shipper before they could refund. My opinion if you are shipping something fragile you should protect it. I would not waste my money on these filters.

They sent the wrong size on the second order. I had ordered in bulk so I didn't need to open the box till after the 90 day window. After opening the box it was obvious all 6 filters were way off. They would not make it right.

Very quick and thorough service. Issue was resolved expeditiously and to my satisfaction.

I made a mistake in size and was immediately helped, reimbursed, and sent the correct size. Very reliable company.

I ordered a one year supply of filters on 1/20/26 I got an email informing me that they had been delivered but there was no sign of them at my house. I contacted ups as well as filterbuy to see what was going on and Renee at filterbuy informed me that that the ship to address was missing a street name (likely a mistake on my part) and they wound up at a local barber shop. Renee was very polite throughout our communication but the end result was basically “sorry but there is nothing we can do for you” I feel that the company fell short in the way they handled this, Not the end of the world but I felt that it was worth sharing

I’m very disappointed with my recent delivery. I’ve been ordering your filters for years and have never had an issue like this before. This time, the filters were not delivered in a box at all. Instead, they were left outside in wet, snowy conditions (it was actively snowing that day), with a poorly placed piece of plastic that did not fully cover the items. As a result, the filters were wet when I received them. I did not take a photo of the filters themselves, as a photo would not clearly show that they were wet. However, the delivery photo should clearly show that the items were left outside, unboxed, and inadequately covered in the snow.

I’ve been dealing with Filterbuy for quite some time now,and I have to say you are very effective,efficient and extremely expedient in delivering quality products at reasonable rates.Its good to know that there are still companies out there that are geared to satisfying customers needs.Please keep doing what you do.Thankyou for all your professional service.

Your customer service is excellent! I had a problem with a shipment and your customer service representative, Stephanie, quickly resolved the issue to get me the correct size filters for my system. She followed up on my initial concern and provided same day resolution to get me the correct filters.

For some reason their sizes are smaller than what they sell at. For example a 20 x 25 x 4 is actually 19 1/2 x 24 1/3 x 3 5/8. It doesn’t fit into my filter slot. And I bought 2 of them. Terrible waste.

I Have been purchasing filters from FilterBuy for 6 years now, so easy to deal with, great filters, pricing and wonderful support. I had a problem and they took care of it...... over the weekend!! Difficult to find customer service like this these days. They sent me replacement filters and said not to return the ones they had sent in error, but to donate them if I could.

I needed help, Stephanie helped me and the transaction went well and smoothly

[Intial review. See below for update] -- Several months after receiving a subscription order (in which I was sent double the number of filters I'd ordered) we had to replace our heat pump. The filters, all as yet unopened, would no longer work for our system. I offered to return all the filters (again, two full unopened boxes) for a single less expensive set. I was told that under no circumstances could they flex on their return/exchange date — as if it were a law written into the fabric of the universe! Instead, as I pointed out, it's just a matter of bad customer service. Sadly, they didn't seem to understand this. I would not recommend working with them.
UPDATE: Shortly after my call with CS and posting this review, they called me back. Since I'd been with them for 4 years as a subscriber, they wanted to make things right. I appreciate this. But do be warned that, when you speak to CS agents, they are instructed to be very inflexible about exchanges, etc.

I bought 2 years worth of filters from these guys and didnt notice some of the filters were damaged, they filters wasn't sealed to the frame rendering them useless. Filterbuy refused to fix the issue.
