Only joined very recently so this is an assessment so far. I have previously searched on the irish genealogy site which gave you access to birth, deaths and marriage certificates which gives lots of information which helps caroborate the identity of the individual you are searching for. Not seeing original documents hinders the searching.
Hopefully I will get more accomplished in my searches as I become more familiar with the package.

Original birth, death and marriage certificates for the UK can only be obtained from the General Records Office, however we have images of the original images where avaialble. This includes baptism records, census records, and many many more. I have found many members of my family…
I have found many members of my family back to the 1700's on one side. However, on the other side I can't even find my father's siblings. I love that the site sends you hints and that you can check the family trees of others. You can email them too, to see if they can provide insight into the relatives that you both have in common. Great site!

The filtering system is inefficient
While I found some new information, I found the searches to be inefficient. Despite specific information in my search about dates and locations, I would get long lists of references that were clearly irrelevant, people living a hundred years after my search goal, and living on the other side of the planet. In short, the filtering system doesn't work to eliminate clearly irrelevant "hits."

I get a lot of repeats. I try to review some of the people I get, but get a notice that I have to buy a package to review. My understanding, when I joined, was that I would be able to review the people I’m being notified about. I’m also getting notifications from UK newspaper. I would like to cancel the newspaper. I’ve used it several times so I don’t know which particular search you’re talking about. But overall, I think my experience with Find My past now is improved. A few months ago I was able to find a pertinent birth record that looks like it might be my sixth great grandfather, William Butler, who is a Cooper. Once I found his apprenticeship record, I went to find my past to find a birth record in that location.

I initially used this site in 2020 and…
I initially used this site in 2020 and loved it. This is why I returned. Now I found it unwieldy, couldn’t easily see documents. What happened to all the original documents I found in 2020? I was trying to see if there were any new contributions and was going to add additional people but it seemed to be a headache. I became frustrated.

Taking money for a subscription that wasn’t authorised
I used your service for 1-2 days . And am currently being charged for a yearly subscription. This has amounted to over £80 and £16.99 a month ..
There is no way I knowingly signed up to this . I’ve contacted your customer service support e mail . And tried to cancel , to be told I’ve singed up to a year , And you have ignored it . Please reply immediately to my latest e -mail . I expect a refund and for you to stop taking my money . Shame I have to come on here and leave a 1 star review . As you have no CS .

We do offer the option of a 12 month subscription where the cost is spread out over 12 months. This is the cheapest option we have to pay monthly though it is a 12 month subscription and as such it is not possible to cancel the subscription fully, without paying a cancellation fee.
This is stated on the subscription/trial page prior to purchasing or registering for a trial.
I can also see you have reached out to our customer support team who have previously responded to you, though we will be back in touch later on today to assist further.

Misleading and taking £16.99 out my…
I cancelled the day after the trial ended. Yet you claim to have a 14 day cooling off period. Yet you have charged me now for 3 months and refused to stop charging me.....
Misleading and taking £16.99 out my bank monthly and refusing to stop. I can't prove I didn't sign up for that option unfortunately but its ridiculous. You are not a phone company or a mortgage. It's a rubbish website to help you find people related to you. Yet you think anyone would want a yearly contract?! I had no luck on it other then what my close family had already put on there which I already knew. DO NOT FALL FOR THEIR FREE TRAIL!
