One of thr best experiences of my life. Follow Alice was amazing, true professionals. Met some wonderful people who are now friends and saw sights that I am blessed to have seen. You won't regret doing this.

First of all, their social média (especially YouTube vidéo) is awesome and answers at least 95% of your questions.

Then, the pré-departure service is also incredible. Tash and Tine will do all they can to accomodate every of your needs and answers every of your questions. I love and need to be EXTREMELY prepared before going to a trip and they will make you a full absent complete scedule in few time. You can also add, modify or remove anything you need in the Same day. The pré-departure meeting is very complete and usefull. You really feel 100% ready and know exactly what to expect and the gear you need. I appreciated that there was no hidden fee. You knew exactly how much you paid and how much you should tip the porters.

The Lindrin lodge accomodation was way better than we expected. Very clean, excellent staff and excellent food. We even have been able to book a unplannified trip to Chemka Hotsprings in FIVE MINUTES!!! Would recommand this place to anyone going near Moshi.

Then, the best part of the trip for sure was the crew on site. Everything was perfectly organised and nothing was left to the destiny. They are true professionals in every aspect of the climb and they all are real professionals that made everything in their power to make sure that everyone go up safely. They were very serious about safety, while being very Nice and cool when needed. I can even say that I made friends whitin the crew and will remember them forever.

To conclude, the main reason I would recommand them is how their employees talked about the company and how they were treated. Be advised, be ready to see other cheap tour operators giving very bad conditions to their porters (no boots, no food, no water). However, we found that our crew had better conditions and they all told us that they were very well treated compared to other crew Operator and they all told us that FollowAlice is known to treated respecfully every employee and give them the best conditions.

Just completed the Kilimanjaro trek with Follow Alice. I decided on the 8 day Lemosho route after much research and the Youtube videos helped. The company were brilliant from start to finish. A very thorough briefing with Chris was had at the Lindrin Lodge in Moshi the day before setting out. We met the lead guides the following morning and they were good humoured which was to be the way they were throughout the next 8 days. We never realised that there was a team of 49 for our group of 12! So averaging 4 per person including a personal porter who carried all our gear to the next camps. I must say that for me these amazing men and women were the hidden stars of the show. Leaving after we’d begun our trek they’d be racing past us within minutes, sometimes running with our duffel bags and their own equipment balanced on their heads. The other porters soon followed with chairs, gas canisters, portable toilets,food;in fact everything we’d need. I can’t express my admiration for this amazing army of workers.
The guides with Follow Alice we’re always chatty, helpful and informative, often stopping to explain the history of the porters and the flora and fauna of each region.
What I found refreshing was the treatment of the porters by Follow Alice. It was apparent from witnessing some porters from low budget companies have their porters wear poor training shoes some with their toes protruding! We never saw this with FA porters yet we still donated boots and equipment which we felt was thoroughly deserved.
The guides ensured that all of us successfully climbed to Uhuru peak and if it wasn’t for their encouragement I doubt if i’d had made it. I can’t praise them highly enough.
I would always recommend Follow Alice not only for the fabulous service but the ethical way they treat their staff. The porters themselves said how much they like working for the company which was the highest praise!
The highlight for most of us was the Baranco Wall which was an exercise in climbing and a real adventure- we loved it!
If you want to challenge yourself with the hardest thing you’ll probably do then Follow Alice to Kilimanjaro!

Our two week trip through Uganda with Follow Alice was excellent. Thanks to Michael and the FA team for end to end leadership. They also set up an extension to the Maasai Mara. The lodges were good, and some were amazingly great. While some of the accommodations were…interesting, overall the difficulties were minor and did not affect the overall experience. THANK YOU Simon, our guide and new friend in Uganda. We had a fantastic mix of wildlife and local Ugandan life.

We were absolutely blown away with Simon, our guide in Uganda, and the Follow Alice Team. From the moment we booked, the team were communicating with us, making sure everything was planned and prepared for us. We had the most incredible week in Uganda, and were impressed with the quality of the food, accommodation and most of all our lovely guide Simon. A 10/10 experience which I’d recommend to anyone thinking about exploring the Pearl of Africa!

The Everest hike was priceless, the work by Sonam, our main guide, and Dawa, my personal Sherpa, highlights. The hike needed one more day, though, to internalize the time “at the top” near the base camp ….

I did the Follow Alice Mount Everest Trek with the Helicopter Ride and couldn’t recommend this trip more! I felt at ease with their travel preparation- from airport logistics to gear rentals. During the trip I found comfort with the excellent and experienced local guides who made sure everything was taken care of- from water to lodging to O2 checks. They made sure we were safe, comfortable, and having a great time.

I would recommend this trip for anyone seeking an unforgettable journey!

I’ve hiked to mt Kilimanjaro and Everest Base camp with FollowAlice and both times the experience was really great! I really loved that everything was organised so well and the team was super hospitable and took care of us on all stages. I would definitely recommend to do these experiences with FollowAlice, you will not regret and have the best time!

I would highly recommend Follow Alice to anyone looking to have a well planned, organised trip! We used follow alice for our trip to Uganda for Gorilla trekking. Our guide Joseph Chiwa was so understanding, patient and welcoming! He was so knowledgeable and went above and beyond for us. I would recommend him to anyone looking for a trip in Uganda!

The guides, Florence, Ah-hee, and Trever were excellent and professional. Not only that but friendly and courteous. FLORENCE personally coached and encouraged me from stella point to uhuru peak and helped me achieve my lifetime dream. I will never forget that. I thank and credit them with helping me succeed in the greatest adventure of my lifetime. I took a 8 day Lemosho route Kilimanjaro hike in early March. Follow Alice, Robert (or Bobu) and the entire crew were excellent in keeping morale high and uniting our group as one. As a result despite our varying levels of experience all 10 members of our group summitted. The team never lost faith in my ability to complete the climb at any point and gave me every opportunity to safely finish. The Lodge was a great accommodation and the crew was professional, humorous, and uplifting throughout.

I hiked the 7 days Lemosho route with Follow Alice in february 2023. I was really impressed with them, from the start everything was very professional. In the planning phase they kept me well informed and answered emails quickly, before the trip they send you all the information you need for the travels including detailed packing list for the mountain which was really helpful. On the hike itself everything was incredible well organized, we had private toilets for the group, there are warm meals in the mornings and in the evenings and then you get a big packed lunch for the hike. The guides are professional and make sure everybody are safe and well on the hike. In conclusion I don't think I could have asked for a better company for this hike and I will recommend Follow Alice to anyone planning to climb Kilimanjaro.

My husband and I chose Follow Alice's 9-day trip, Best of Uganda, for the variety: safaris through the savannah, hikes to see the Crater lakes, the mountain gorillas in the Bwindi Impenetrable Forest, the chimpanzees in Kibale National Park and Lake Bunyonyi in a dugout canoe. Everything was very well organized and we were sent not only an itinerary but a packing list and important information. The trip was everything they said it would be, everything we expected - and more. Our flights to Uganda were rescheduled and we ended up landing in Entebbe at 3:30 a.m. instead of 11:15 p.m. We let them know as they were picking us up. They sympathized and said don't worry we will be there for 3:30 a.m. Our guide was there waiting with a smile. For the next 9 days he made sure everything went smoothly and we were happy. We learned a lot from him about the wildlife and birds, the environments and the culture. The guides in the National Parks were also very knowledgeable and enjoyed sharing their knowledge. Uganda is truly a beautiful country with lots to see and explore. Crater lakes, zebras, giraffes, antelope, water bucks, impalas, lions, leopards, baboons, monkeys, gorillas, chimpanzees and more. All of our accommodations were exceptional, beautiful views, good service, clean and comfortable with all amenities but our favourite was Mihingo Lodge. Built to impact the environment as little as possible, it was absolutely beautiful. Solar-powered luxury in a natural setting. Imagine going out of your cabin in the morning and seeing baboons going by or impalas crossing your path when you head to the dining room. And the staff!! Truly warm and friendly, excellent service. Tea or coffee delivered to your cabin in the morning before you head down for breakfast. We have great experiences and people to remember. Nothing at all negative to say. I highly recommend Follow Alice and the 9-day Best of Uganda tour.

We hiked up Kilimanjaro in February. We took the lemosho route and stayed the lindrin lodge before and after the hike. The overall experience has been amazing. Our head guide was William Bwenje and our assistant guide was Msafiri. The guides were amazingly well versed in the terrain and conditions of the mountain. They helped navigate and motivate us throughout. William would check in with us every step of the way and made sure we were acclimatising well. On the final summit day the guides were instrumental in ensuring that we succeeded in reaching the summit.

The gear, tents and equipment were excellent and well maintained by the team. Follow Alice has great attention to detail and they ensured we didn’t face any hassles along the way. Even in the worst weather conditions they made sure we were comfortable and dry.

The food on the entire hike was key to keeping our strength up. They cooked up some amazing soups, French toast and pastas and stews.

Overall 5/5 for team Follow Alice.

My husband and I climbed Mt. Kilimanjaro via the 8-day Lemosho route with Follow Alice in February 2023 and had an amazing experience. We chose Follow Alice because it seemed to be a company that treated its employees well, was priced reasonably, and we really liked that it was co-founded by a former Kili guide! The whole process from initial enquiry to the end of the trip was totally seamless and everyone we interacted with from the admin side was super nice. As for our actual experience on the mountain, the crew was absolutely superb. We were a group of 4 with a crew of 21. James and Alex were our guides and we could tell they were always keeping a super close eye on how we were doing and genuinely cared about our safety and success on the mountain. James in particular also had a wealth of knowledge about the history of the mountain, the vegetation, and Tanzanian/East African history, and we really loved learning from him. The porters also took amazing care of us and their superhuman strength was truly inspiring! I would be remiss if I didn't also highlight one of our helping porters, Rama, who was just the kindest person and really made us all feel like family. All 4 of us ended up making it to the summit and enjoying the most breathtaking views along the way. I cannot recommend Follow Alice highly enough and also really recommend the Lemosho route -great views and great acclimatization! When we came back we had one extra day, and Chris was kind enough to help us book a coffee/waterfall tour totally last-minute. If you love coffee and have a half day to spare, this is a can't-miss stop.

James is an professional highly skilled Mountain Guide who is constantly evaluating the terrain, weather and the client hikers to ensure everyone has an optimal experience. Highly recommend James to everyone!

We had an amazing experience with Follow Alice and I have already started looking into other experiences to use them again! They provide a class act service, are KPAP compliant and very good to their porters, they invest a lot in training their guides who are amazing to insure your success to the summit. I was impressed with their communication and their tools/lists for preparing for the trip. Our guide Tony and team for the 9 day Northern Circuit climb was excellent and I only have compliments to offer for their guidance and performance.
