Follow Alice was really good, the guides were absolutely amazing. They went above and beyond to take care of us, the food was brilliant, really healthy and tasted fantastic. I can’t thank the guides and porters enough as I don’t think I would have made it without them. They made the whole experience fantastic and unforgettable. I would definitely recommend this company.

My son and I just got back to the U.S. from an 8 day Lemosho experience. The equipment, food, and friendly helpful staff made the climb a trip of a lifetime. Special thanks to the team leaders James and Cross and their awesome staff. Don’t be mistaken this is a real climb physically and mentally, but all said and done worth it.

Climbing Kilimanjaro with Follow Alice was a genuinely special and unforgettable experience. I don’t think anyone can have climbed with better guides than Jerome, Justice and Msafiri. I felt completely safe in their hands and lucky to spend a week in their good company. All the porters as well were amazing - especially Raja and the kitchen guys, the food was always such a treat :)) I would really recommend this company, I’m gonna look out for them wherever else I go. Watching other groups climb at the same time we felt consistently so glad to be with the people we were with from follow alice. Lots of love to everyone there and I hope to see you again!<3

The Follow Alice team were amazing from start to finish.
The booking stage was very straightforward, we were given all the information and help we needed very quickly and clearly. The climbing team were incredible - they looked after us perfectly throughout the whole trip - we couldn't have asked for a more skilled, knowledgeable, caring and good-humoured, fun team. I had been wanting to hike Kili for years, and now that the pandemic has subsided, finally went through. I am so happy I found Follow Alice as a guide company — they helped me achieve my dream of summiting the mountain!

To start, Follow Alice gave me all the information I needed before the trip to really be prepared. Tash and Justin were super communicative, really helping with accomodations, recommendations, etc...

As the trip got underway, I could not have asked more from the guides — they were super friendly, knowledgeable, and understanding with our needs. Our main guide, Tony, even offered me his waterbottle when my water-bladder broke on day 1! What a guy.

But the real hidden stars of the show were the porters — they work like no others! They were super nice and helpful for the whole team and we couldn't have done the trip without them. From managing the portable toilet to setting up our camps to cooking great mountain food, these guys were legends.

Overall, I had a wonderful trip and would recommend Follow Alice 10/10 times to anyone looking to hike Kili.

Everest Base Camp - breathtaking experience. We had the great pleasure to embark on the mission of a lifetime with the great team of Follow Alice (FA) and their local hosts Sonam, Sonam and Nima! The tour was organized to every detail and FA made sure that there was nothing to be missed. Our guide Sonam and Nima took great care of us, especially also in moments when we didn’t feel great. We are 100% sure that we wouldn’t have made it without them! Thanks a lot to the entire team. We highly recommend FA, we now did two excursions together (EBC and Kili) and we are sure to do the next one again with FA!

Wow! What an amazing experience with Follow Alice that I won’t forget. I did the 9 day Northern Circuit route and we always felt well cared for. Our guides were Robert, Gideon and Alex - I probably wouldn’t have been able to do it if it weren’t for their patience. They brought great vibes and loads of laughs, even during the toughest parts of the climb. The entire crew was also incredible - from the cook to all the porters - we couldn’t have asked for a better team.

Best trip of a lifetime with follow Alice on the 9 day northern route. The best and friendliest guides and people from porters,cooks,waiters and personal porters all help was given to those who needed it. Out of 7 people 6 made too the top and the one who didn't was cared for as best as humanly possible. A 10/10 experience for me and worth every dollar including tips. My guides were Robert,Alex and Gidion.I don't think any other guides could have made this hike as good as they could especially on the second day when it was one of the hardest. The cook prepared the best food you can get on the moutian and our waiter folded our napkin into birds ,butterflies and others the attention to details on this trip were insane and no one felt out of place in the environment they tried to make like home at every camp. Also the begining and the end. lodge they provided was excellent
Advise
Bring more than one battery pack.Or solar
Go to the cathedral from Shria 1 camp
Pack hand warmers like a lot one for every night and days hiking with frost and cold winds.
Bring extra batteries for your head lamp.
Eat everything no matter how you feel.
Drink the ginger tea it can help you reach the summit.
Tip well they really deserve it.
Use gaters on your shoes for cold and dust.
Bring your medkit and other meds just incase.
Go on the full moon if you can.

Best solo trip ever.

Just returned from a 10 day Uganda trip with Follow Alice. Our group had a wonderful experience with our guides Simon and City! They kept us safe navigating the “African massage” roads as well as roads where driving lanes were optional. The lodges were all unique with comfortable rooms and spectacular views! The food at all of the lodges was outstanding with varied menus satisfying our group. The highlight was our gorilla trek which will remain etched into all of our memories.
The planning process with Michael was easy and collaborative to maximize our interests. To anyone interested, I would highly recommend a trip to Uganda with Follow Alice with the advice to stay longer than we did, especially to explore Bwindi Impenetrable Park!

What a fantastic trip. I had several questions before leaving that were always answered promptly. While on the mountain everyone was friendly and helpful. The daily pulse ox checks let me know there was an eye our safety. The meals were delicious and plentiful, the tents and sleeping bags were high quality. I'm already looking at another trip with Follow Alice.

I've taken two trips with Follow Alice, both incredible. First in 2019 to Sardinia, and recently to Nepal, Everest Base Camp.

Follow Alice trips are very well organized, and allow you to focus yourselves. In the Himalayas, we were able to enjoy the views and focus on the experience instead of having the cognitive load of "where are we going to sleep? How much does this cost? Where do we buy poles and sticks?". Our guide, Angelou was incredible and helpful, and the trip itself was an unforgettable experience.

I would recommend signing up with Follow Alice to make this and any trip.

My friends and I have just come back from Uganda and this country have stolen out hearts.

They say that Uganda is the pearl of Africa but it wouldn’t have been the pearl of Africa without our guide Simon and all the team of follow Alice.

We just could spent one week but we would have liked to stay at least 10 days.

Everything was very well organized to get the most of our trip. (Thank you Michael, I know that it wasn’t easy)

Even if time was short we could do all activities that we wanted: rafting, chimpanzee habituation at Kibale forest, gorilla tracking at bwindi forest, night game drive and horseback safari at park national Mburo, ambare caves and falls.
We could also share our time doing some activities with people from different communities, it was a pleasure to learn so many thing about their way of living.

and sharing and learning us so many things that we will never forget.

According to accommodations they had amazing views and services, all people from staff were adorable.

We will comme back for sure!

We hiked the 8 day Lemosho route and it was just awesome!
It started with the whole booking experience, Justin (our trip manager) did a fantastic job. We got answers within minutes, always! And also the local team in Tanzania, everything was perfect and well organised, starting by the equipment we got and finished by the delicious food we got through the whole trip and everything in between.
The biggest thanks to the whole Follow Alice team for this once in a lifetime experience.

I could not thank enough the whole Follow Alice team for my recent Kilimanjaro trip, they are simply superb. I am truly touched with their kindness. Justin, our trip manager was very helpful with all pre-departure preparations. Not to mention, local team leader, Chris is a great leader; he is very transparent and sensitive about everything. He managed the team very efficiently. Everything was so perfect and well organised from Day 1. We knew the experience would be fun… but the team we had taking us up the mountain have made our time away unforgettable. The kindest group of hard working people who went totally above and beyond. From ensuring the facilities were clean and tidy to providing tasty high quality meals and snacks throughout the day.

We recently took a trip to Uganda with Follow Alice and had the most wonderful adventure! From day 1 the communication from Michael was great and very clear, he amended the itinerary to suit our needs and timeframe and squeezed in all the excursions we wanted covered. We were met at the airport on arrival by Simon, our guide and driver for the entire trip. Simon was a brilliant guide who has a lot of knowledge of Uganda, he kept us comfortable and safe throughout the trip and was always kind, fun and helpful - we can't thank him enough for his great service! Our highlights were seeing the chimps, gorillas and array of wildlife on the various safari experiences we had. All of the places we stayed were comfortable and some were very unique with amazing views, our favorite accommodations were Turaco Treetops and The bush lodge. After such a great experience we can safely say we will be returning to Uganda in the future and will 100% book other adventure trips with Follow Alice!
