Fantastic service and comics always arrive on time and in great condition!

Bought s book, 3 days later sent an email saying my payment wasnt processed. Sent instructions to login and change. Did so, and three days later, another email to say payment wasnt processed. Just not a professional or organised process. A real shame when you try and support a business.

Order process was easy, appreciated postage being tracked 24. Dispatch information was easy to understand

I made an order for two books.

The first arrived in a package that was far too small and it sat diagonally (which bent the book, a hardcover). It should be okay with some restrengthened, but could have easily got damaged with a drop / knock.

The second book still has not been delivered and appears to be now out of stock. They did not notify me and I'm left in limbo.

Use them only if no other alternative.

Ordered 5 op14s and 0 turned up and the box was ripped apart. Sent it a request via the website and they still haven't even acknowledged it. Do not order online and expect safe delivery. Secondly I tried to exchange the collection devil fruit which had already been unsealed. And they didn't let me exchange. Will avoid this shop as you all should

Was surprised to find this item available here but luckily it was which saved a bunch of money. Item arrived quickly as advertised with no issues. Thanks.

I buy from forbidden planet all of the time, and it is absolutely amazing. Incredibly reliable compared to other stores, with in store experiences being amazing and online ordering being quick and overall easy. They always have amazing deals on and is just an all around amazing store.

I only received part of my order with one book stuck in "processing" It wasn't clearly communicated in the order emails why I was missing part of my order or an estimated time of delivery for it. Looking at the store page now it says the book is unavailable. So I reckon there was an error and they sold me a book they did not have in stock. I waited a few more days for any changes but ended up cancelling. I wasn't charged for the missing book but it was still very annoying. Please send update emails if ordered books are out of stock!

My children wanted to purchase some books in store, which were more expensive, even when delivery costs considered, but as they wanted them sooner, & to support the stores they planned to with my daughters student discount. However her student discount was not accepted as her 6th form dies not have an expiry date, & only being issued in September 25, was not accepted, so we decided to order online. We made the order, which has taken 6 days to be delivered, & when it arrived contained only 4 of the 6 books ordered & paid for. Confirmation email has all 6 books, following email only has 4, same cost & no information about the other 2. I've been really disappointed with the instore & online experience & have an unhappy son, as vol1 was not one of the books he wanted, delivered. It feels as though the company does not need to look after it's customers due to who they are. Will see if I get a response to the email sent with answers!

Truly pathetic service from Forbidden Planet. I ordered a T shirt six weeks ago. It has still not arrived. No communication. Really not good enough.

Ordered a lightsaber and they cancelled the order saying they can’t ship it “because of the shape”… weren’t helpful about it either hopefully a refund shows up. Reasoning is absolutely ridiculous golf clubs, hockey sticks, pool cues, baseball bats. Just lazy

I ordered a copy of Earthborne rangers for my birthday in 2024 it still hadn’t arrived by summer 2025. I cancelled my order. Terrible service. It was on sale in many online game shops this winter because now it is not considered new. Just appalling service in my opinion. Wouldn’t shop there again.

A great customer service team. When ordering on line I made a mistake with my email address. I contacted the customer service team who responded very quickly. They were extremely helpful - gave me two options on how to proceed. A friendly and professional team. First time I have ordered from this site. I definitely recommend Forbiden Planet.

Found the book I was loooking for cheaper here than at Amazon. Even after postage I saved a few quid and as a bonus forbidden planets was an author signed limited edition version for bargain price. .. really quick postage right before Xmas too.

Ordered a graphic novel that was in stock to be put aside on Saturday to be collected monday. Was told that they keep books for collection for 2 days and that monday was fine. Gave my name and mobile. Called in today monday to collect the book. Girl at reception desk aware of my request but the book not there now. Some "senior?" Guy then proceeds to tell me that I had told his colleague that I had said I would be in to collect in 2 hours!!!!!
Basically calling me a liar. Terrible Terrible way to treat a customer. Will Never deal with this company again. A little honesty goes a long way.
Manager phoned a day later after reviewing what happened and apologised. Gave a reason which was honest and offered to post a copy free of charge which was good management but I had in the meantime ordered and collected a copy from Big Bang Comics. Lesson learned.

Used the company for many years, I’m now 74 years old and unfortunately I’m becoming increasingly frustrated with the on line pre order system. I collect mainly one marvel character and as such over the last few years these new releases include many variants.
I’ve inquired over the years whether these variants will all be available and have been informed that no “ if it’s not listed it’s not available if it’s listed it is”.
Ok so now I subscribe to forbidden planet for my main comic in a series and then order what they list as pre order and then make sure that the variants I need which forbidden planet doesn’t have are ordered from my excellent supplier in the USA Third eye.
But as with so many times in the past, various comics that I’ve ordered from forbidden planet doesn’t not arrive and shod up as “awaiting stock” even though they have been issued weeks before and available on line.
Many times after that it disappeared from my orders as though it never existed and what’s more frustrating is that they don’t contact you via email( I’m subscribed) to let you know what the problem is or when it will be resolved.
As an avid comic collector who wants to get all the issues and variants, it is really annoying that after ordering months in advance for a comic that forbidden planet says they can supply, they just let you down.
If you want something to fulfill your collecting habits I suggest that you don’t simply rely on them as your main supplier.
Disappointing to write this after many decades of using them as a company to supply my comic needs
