We have spent hours trying to find a certain comic book. I emailed Forbidden Planet to see if they held any stock and whether it would be shipped from over seas. I received a reply promptly, ordered the comic book and received it today…three days after ordering!! Amazing service!

They have a good website with a lot of choice. You are kept well informed about your deliveries. They are sent out promptly

On one order 9 out of 9 comics received with damage. They should never have been sent out.

If you enjoy paying good money for damaged comics, FP is the place for you!

If you enjoy pre-ordering comics before FOC and not receiving them FP is the place for you!

If you enjoy dealing with incompetent customer service agents then, FP is the place for you!

They don't care about comics. They don't care about you. They don't care about the condition of the items they send.

Utter garbage service! If they closed their online store, it would be a good day for comic collectors!

I'd love to sit down with the employee's who think it's acceptable to send out these comics! Clearly don't have a F ING clue, don't care or both! Seems like nobody is held accountable or trained to an appropriate standard.

horrible, when i was in there i was with a legal adult. he went to buy a manga so i followed behind him and they wouldnt serve him all because i was barely in sight to them. worst thing about it the manga most literally said ‘boobs’ and ‘i sold one of my nuts’ thats crazy bro.

I recently transferred my comics standing order to these guys when I moved up to the North East but their service has been an absolutely atrocious !
I set up my comics account but every time my wife or I collected the account I received the 'card stock 'covers - as all my other comics are the ordinary paper covers i requested that I not be given the card covers ( these are also considerably more expensive ) - since then EVERY A time we've collected my standing order the comics are ALWAYS the card covers .
My wife spoke to the old guy who works there and he showed her that he has left notes on their computer system that I was just to receive the ordinary covers but whoever does the orders has ignored the notes .
The man even replaced the card covers for the ordinary covers that were still on the comics racks , so its obviously down to whoever processes their comic orders .
I've no idea why the person doing the orders has chosen to ignore my request , or the notes left on their computer system . I can only think they think they are being funny . Either way , I'm transferring my standing order to travelling man ; two doors down. Lets see how funny he thinks he is now that he's lost my money !

I was looking forward to getting some new hot toys and other items for Christmas for my autistic son and saw the prices were too much compared to other places I looked at and won't ever return to the store ever again unless they lower the prices and learn to give better discounts to returning customers and be more kind to people with disabilities. My Advice is Avoid All their stores especially in Newcastle upon Tyne!!!! they'll rip you off and take advantage of you just to get you to spend money on things that you can find cheaper on certain other websites.

I was attempting to order a book internationally and had serval issues with billing, I am very appreciative because it is my favorite book.
I'm an international customer and love the clear communication and transparent customer service.

Ordered three comics, two moon knight and one miles morales, but once I received an email saying they were on their way, only the moon knight ones were there, and they had removed the charge from the miles comic, which is fine but now I’m going to have to reorder it and pay for shipping again. Overall though, very pleased with service.

I’ve used Forbidden Planet for years and have found all customer service advisors to be fantastic (both in person and online). Whenever I’ve had an issue (rarely), they have immediately sorted everything out without any obstruction whatsoever. The vast majority of the items I purchase are pristine but on the rare occasion something is damaged, they go above and beyond to ensure the replacement is in the best condition. There is a reason they’re the largest dedicated comic merchandise provider in the world, and I think it’s due to the above.

First order with FP. Fast delivery and well packaged😁
