Online ordered. Comics are sent out in solid cardboard boxes. One bag to about 3 comics. No backing board. They are tracked but they don't send you the tracking code so you can watch it arrive (or fail too). So apart from the left hanging till Royal Mail post it or 2 weeks pass they do very well for service. They take postage for your whole pre order though when the first of your grouped order is available. I don't know if they give it back should you cancel part or the rest of the order and you still pay full postage should they group two separate orders for the same shipment.

Superb service. Bargain priced items. Very quick despatch. Items came well packed and protected. Well please with my items. Would definitely recommend this company for these type of purchases.

Exceptional service throughout the transaction and I do not of a better company for the packing of items.

I had a recent problem with Royal Mail delivering my comic to the wrong address.

I emailed the customer service team and received a quick response with a proposed solution. Issue resolved really quickly.

Said my order was cancelled over not updating my card payment witch a I did as soon as I got the email and b it's the exact same card they've been taking my subscription orders out of all year. Whatever so I reorder ask customer service what the issue was ect they say they can reinstate I specifically say don't because I reordered so imagine my surprise when I get the email today that 2 of them have been dispatched. I'm out nearly £100 on two books one of which I don't even want! The worst thing is they came out weeks ago but it was more expensive in there actual store then online it's pre ordered since December! Once my comic subscriptions run out I'm done with and there ridiculously expensive postage. Fed up with them at this point.

Items bought for a leaving party. We have not received any and the company do not respond to their messages. Will never buy from here and would recommend that all be warned. Its effectively daylight robbery. I will try to reclaim from the bank due to this shocking travesty.

Don't bother ordering anything online as it'll likely arrive in far less than mint condition (but you'll get to pay full price all the same!). When I got my damaged item replaced it was replaced with... another damaged item. Zero quality control.

Was 5 days before they even dispatched my order and when I check they left off one of my comics with no explanation. Will be trying another store after this.

5 star service from them on every order and great value on magazines and comics

Very poor service.
Some items not in stock sold anyway, no communication about this matter from Forbidden Planet I had to chase them up about this and when I found out I cancelled that item thinking my order would be shipped that but no such luck

Very smooth transaction, well packaged and quick delivery.

There is no excuse for how long it takes to bill and ship in this day and age. Despite this I have placed orders that are in stock and have taken over 2 weeks to arrive which is way past your already extremely long delivery times. I have also had my order marked as dispatched via email confirmation but when logging into my account I can actually see it was dispatched 3 whole days after the email! I will be cancelling my subscriptions and purchasing from other retailers who bag and board and deliver within 2 working days.

I placed a subscription for a comic series from issue 1. I got through issue 1, then had to chase them to send me issue 2. Issue 3 didn't arrive, I contacted them and I was told that the subscription didn't include issue 3 and would need to order issue 3 separately and that I had been sent an email that said as much. I had been sent an email later on after the release to say as much.

I feel that if a subscription for a comic is taken out, then all the issues should be included in that subscription. Forbidden Planet feel differently.

Best company I’ve ever bought a comic book from. I bought the invincible compendium 2 which is a very difficult comic to get at the moment and it came within a week and the packing was amazing with lots of protection to keep the comic from damage. Definitely will buy from again.

My order hasn't, arrived yet, but I was so angry I decided to write this now. Ordered late on monday, order was £250+, you'd expect them to get that shipped quickly. They were closed when I ordered so I didn't expect any dispatching then. Tuesday, nothing, wednesday, nothing. Thursday, dispatched! Finally. 2 days for them to dispatch. Then it's friday, DPD has still not got my order, they've only been told they're getting one. This is a joke and I'm never ordering here again, I don't care if my order is good now, my opinion on this AWFUL company won't change! I've ordered from smaller businesses in the UK with only one actual store and they dispatch in less than a day! 2 days to dispatch is a joke and they have no reasoning.

Placed 3 pre-orders last year and after 5 months of waiting all orders got cancelled. Their strategy was to postpone just one month every month giving you the illusion that they were actually selling the items, but eventually they just said it was totally the suppliers problem and they had no responsbility at all.

Forbidden planet is utter rubbish ...sale day (monday) is a nightmare......sort yourself out sack the folk who deal with it ......nightmare nightmare nightmare
