I’ve been using the Freestyle Libre as my only method of monitoring my blood sugar for quite some time. I was very encouraged by the readings, which consistently showed that I was within range about 92% of the time.

However, during my annual lab work, my A1C came back significantly higher than expected. That prompted me to double‑check my glucose levels using traditional finger‑stick blood tests and compare them to the Freestyle Libre sensor readings.

What I discovered was alarming: the sensor was off by an average of 80–90 points compared to actual blood test results. This level of inaccuracy is not only unacceptable — it’s dangerous. Consumers rely on these devices to make critical health decisions, and such discrepancies can lead to serious consequences.

Very irresponsible and potentially harmful to anyone depending on this product for accurate glucose monitoring.

Dopo due anni di utilizzo, forse perché vendono troppo, forse perché regione Lombardia spende troppo, il 50% dei sensori è guasto ed un 20% inaffidabile. Prima non era così diciamo che da settembre 25 in poi è un disastro. Non c'e' modo di contattarli. Hanno un numero verde con operatori che leggono il libro mastro ma non sanno nulla. Da buoni svizzeri ..... conttattaci si blocca e mail di riferimento ne hanno ma ti rimandano fissi all'operatore.

The 3 plus may be the best of the best, but it is not good enough. Abbott has a long way to go with this product. My main problem has been the adhesive. It steadfastly refuses to hold for the full two weeks. I have had numerous falloffs when using the approved location. Although I have had good results getting replacements, it is still a major hassle for me.

I have experimented with alternate placements. No problem with adhesion, but questionable results.

Abbott needs to improve the adhesive, the method of application and test alternate placement sites followed by published results with instructions for using them successfully.

First sensor fell off after a day, second sensor actually stayed on but failed after 11 days third censor stayed on for the full 15 days Miracle of Miracles but left a sore on me. New sensor lasted 2 days. I have a one touch Ultra and I just got a freestyle light and Libre is sooooo inaccurate as well. It's garbage and it should not even be allowed to be used or sold.

I give Freestyle Libre 3 stars because the Libre 2 is a pretty good sensor other than you have to scan to check your reading. Now the Libre 3 is a whole different story. The Libre 3 is probably the worse sensor is the history of sensors. If it stays on, you will lose signal every 2 to 3 hours, requiring you to restart your phone. If you're thinking of going with a Libre sensor, opt for Libre 2.

De los tres sensores que he llevado, los tres me han dado falsas hipoglucemias con valores de hasta 30mg/dl inferiores a la prueba en sangre. Me parece muy frustrante y decepcionante que un laboratorio como Abbot pueda llegar a tener estos errores después de quejarnos tantas veces. Estamos hablando de la salud de las personas, por favor. Que hagan algo!!!!

Abbott doee not stand behind and will not replace a reader where the battery will not charge. They talk a good game but sell poor quality device readers

Ich bin Typ3-Diabetiker. Es ist bekannt, dass der Typ3 stark schwitzt, bedingt durch das Krankheitsbild! Und die Dinger kleben nicht richtig. Überkleben mit großem Pflaster hat sich auch nicht bewährt. Jetzt umwickle ich den Sensor mit Klettbinden, das ist am Oberarm aber unpraktisch, wenn ich allein bin.

Do not trust the reader they sometimes don’t give you a accurate reading the sensors malfunction regularly
Although the customer service from the is very good I have been using it for a few years I have ended up in hospital previously with really high levels of blood sugar they show

What a truly awful company. Almost 2 hours on the phone and 4 total calls. Now they say they will call back. I can not connect. I had Libre 2 so should be easy right?! First I am prompted through 10 screens...the last of which is about phone settings and you simply can not go anywhere from there. I'm finally thinking about finding a different provider. They are so clueless. There reps also clueless as well. And they are not gratious ...last one finally couldn't figure it out so she simply exited the conversation. WOW. Buyer beware

I've used Libra freestyle off and on for about 3 years.
The readings are basically never close to fingerprick.
Talking to help desk is useless.
Did why do I keep using them?
I can get quick reading.......and add 20 to was the reading is sensor

Life-Threatening situations they hang up on you. They don't answer you and they will not account for anything. This is absolutely disgusting in our pharmaceutical world. Please let put these people out of business

Ik heb gevraagd naar contact met een manager / teamleider maar dit was niet mogelijk volgens deze druiloor.

Met ze alle de socialmedia pagina’s van de NOS, NPO, BNN enzovoort in de gaten houden. Hier ga ik werk van maken

De collega ‘ Jannic of Yanick / Yaniek ‘ is oprecht de meest respectloze gozer die ik ooit heb gehoord op een klantenservice. Je speelt met de gezondheid van onze oom. Hoe durf je mensen zonder benen, die afhankelijk zijn van medische hulpmiddelen zo behandelen? De woorden waren letterlijk: Je wacht maar 4 dagen?

Misschien je mama onder de grond maar wij niet vriend. We wachten 4 dagen tot dit verhaal in de krant staat bedoel je?

I loved the Freestyle 2. When you checked your glucose it recorded your number. The Freestyle Libre 3 doesn't unless you write a note. I have been in the hospital for a week and my monitor has consistently read 30 points lower than the finger prick reader of the hospital. This is not acceptable nor very accurate.

I have used for several month and have been failing pretty often, I call many times costumer service and I got to the conclusion that I need to go back to the strips, thing drive you nuts.

The sensor failed prematurely. The help line was no help. Person I was talking to spoke poor English and was very difficult to understand. They denied my request for a replacement sensor. Basically, they would not stand behind their product. I was very disappointed and may look for an alternative.
