Company pricing is very competitive for a popular item. The communication was good & the order proceeded at the timescales indicated. There is a few weeks wait for delivery, however this is clearly stated at point of ordering. There is a local (Bristol) pick up option if preferred.

Extremely Disappointing Experience – Avoid Unless Collecting in Person
I purchased a lens on the 30th of May and received no update for over two weeks. When I followed up with James, he assured me it would be shipped shortly. A week later, I emailed again and was told the parcel had supposedly been lost by Royal Mail, and they were waiting for confirmation of the loss before sending a replacement. Meanwhile, I noticed the lens had quietly been removed from their website—which, to me, is clear proof they never had it in stock to begin with.
Another week passed with no update. When I checked again, they repeated that the parcel was still "lost" and blamed the lack of confirmation from Royal Mail. At this point, it had been well over a month. Frankly, it felt like they were using the shipping carrier as an excuse to cover for not having the product.
It was only after I threatened to leave a negative review that they admitted they didn’t have the item and would issue a refund. Today is the 15th of July. That’s nearly seven weeks of chasing, waiting, and being misled.
They never provided a tracking number or any proactive communication. How can a tracked parcel go missing with no trace unless it was never sent in the first place? Totally unacceptable.
Unless you’re planning to collect gear in person from their Bristol warehouse, I do not recommend this seller. Unprofessional, poor communication, and a complete waste of time.
Awful experience, be warned!
This seems to be a company run and operated by a James G. I ordered a twin lens Nikon Z50 camera. After waiting the recommended delivery time l contacted James who told me there was a delay. I waited another week , to be told the item was missing! James said he would reorder and provide a new tracking number. More waiting for another week- no new tracking number appeared.He even stated what time/ day it would arrive when pushed. Guess what? Nothing appeared! After very patiently waiting for OVER 6 WEEKS l called and cancelled the order. Dreadful service! A series of fobbing off and broken deadlines! Avoid! Only gave one star as James is polite on the phone!

Got my Sony A7RV slight delay but James really looked after me vey happy. One suggestion it would really be helpful and reassuring if the cameras were being tracked throughout its journey

I ordered a new camera from GearClix Ltd. yes we had small delay due to transport but James looked after us and the camera arrive safely and was as described. We did have an additional battery missing but this was rectified immediately. Good service at the right price.

I wasn't sure when i saw the website
I wasn't sure when i saw the website, they are fairly new, after a phone communication with James, i decided to go head and made my canon R5 Markii order. Arrived in 4 days as i decided to collect it from Bristol registered address. Top class service and super fast delivery plus 3 years cover can't go wrong. Highly recommended.

At first I was skeptical with the company being so new, but after a phone call my nerves were settled and took a chance to place the order for my canon R5 mii and RF 70-200 2.8.
Delivery took just over 2 weeks to arrive, with regular updates along the way (James) my order arrived this morning, packaged extremely well and without damage!
I can’t recommend these guys enough! I will be a returning customer!

I ordered a OM-1 mkii with M.Zuiko 12-40mm lens from GearClix. I agree with a previous reviewer who used the word "Trepidation" dealing with a new business for such a lot of money - but all businesses start somewhere - Marks and Spencers started with a Leeds market stall!
So I asked a lot of questions via email and online chat - I mulled over the fact I was buying a "grey import", that I wouldn't be able to register the device with OM Systems in The UK.
Delivery took a while - I chased it once. But I have got a new model camera with Pro Lens for what I had expected to pay for used and it comes with a 3 year warranty instead of the 12 months one I would get with a used camera (at best).
Would I buy from GearClix again? Absolutely.

New Caon R10
I'm very pleased with my brand new Canon R10. Excellent price, well below the usual. It arrived 1 day after the original predicted date. James was very clear & helpful in arranging the delivery to suit me. Replies to my queries were instant. The packing was good, post by Royal Mail worked perfectly.
I would thoroughly recommend Gear Clix.

Found Gearclix gave the best price for a lens I wanted,I'd not heard of the company but took a chance. The projected delivery was not the quickest but then not ridiculous either. Slight miscommunication about a delay but soon received an email from Royal Mail expecting my package. Lens arrived well packaged,very happy with the price and free delivery.

Snailish slow
As I went through the purchasing phase I was sucked in by Order now get by 30th May... 28th May I emailed and got a reassurance that things were going slow but sure, sending Royal Mail (Inactive) Tracking number. Then assured lens would be here by 06/06/25... No! Contacted them again: Telling me that there was a delay and it would be here by 10/06/25 before 13.00. It felt like I'd been scammed and I was not pleased and almost initiated a refund which "James" as prepared to begin. However, I replied that I'd wait, but no-more hold-ups!!!
On the 9th I checked on the tracking which had become live and RM had received package for delivery. Tuesday Morning 10.45 RM turned up with the protectively boxed expensive Lens. Perfect unsealed condition. I breathed a sigh of relief...
I feel if this company wants to get better reviews it really needs to get its delivery chain sorted out, removing the delays and putting customers minds at rest.

I ordered from GearClix the canon r1 and the RF 2x extender at an unbelievable price and was told it would be just over 14 days which was worth the wait but it did take a bit longer there was a bank Holiday plus I personally think there was a battery issue with the post but the amount of money I saved it was well worth the extra couple of wait, and the communication was good.

Very poor experience
Very poor experience. On multiple occasions I was assured my purchase would be shipped on a particular date, only for those dates to pass by with the camera still not shipped. I was even told that it had already been shipped, but Royal Mail confirmed it still hadn't been received 4 days after when I'd been told it was shipped. Eventually, 3 weeks after my original order, I managed to get a refund. I'll never be ordering from this Gearclix again

Well my worries were for nothing, I got camera in the timescale they gave and the camera was brand new as advertised, the best thing about this company is their customer services they are second to none,very quick replies and couldnt do enough to help .A++++

I purchased a Sony FE-fit Tamron 50-400 zoom lens from GearClix.com. The website was very easy to navigate with plenty of choice on it. As this was my first purchase from them I did check on here before I ordered (just to be sure it does exist) and I also contacted the company and chatted to James via the webchat link on the website, to ensure the lens was brand new (it was) he also gave me an accurate estimate of delivery dates as it does take a couple of weeks to arrive from their supplier. My lens arrived on time in perfect condition complete with factory seal on the lens box. The parcel was very well packed in a snug outer box and was delivered via Royal Mail. Any queries were dealt with very kindly, truthfully and in a very timely manner. I really felt very well looked after and appreciated by the staff, so I feel they deserve the highest praise and I will wholeheartedly thoroughly recommend GearClix. Very happy customer :-)

Positive experience
I recently purchased a lens from GearClix and was genuinely impressed with the experience. Before a trip I had planned, they even offered to make a personal delivery to help me get the lens on time, something you don’t see often these days. In the end, it didn’t work out due to my own late ordering, but I really appreciated the gesture. The lens arrived a few days later, well-packaged and exactly as described.
Their prices are extremely competitive, and for that, I was happy to wait a little longer. I’ll admit I had some initial reservations after reading a few mixed reviews, but my experience was nothing but positive. I’d definitely recommend GearClix and will be checking them first for future gear.

I usually order my cameras from a company in Hong Kong as they are at least £1000 cheaper than the UK. I then saw Gearclix who were another £300 cheaper than Hong Kong. At first I was dubious about the company but after reading reviews ordered a Canon R5 mark ii. It took 10 days to receive the camera and as I was going away I was worried it might not arrive in time.I contacted the Gearclix three times and they assured me it would arrive on the 9th (I was going away on the 10th). The camera did arrive as promised on the 9th. I would like to thank them for polite way they dealt with my calls. So far I am very impressed with the camera and I am also impressed with the staff at Gearclix. I will definitely use Gearclix again. Highly recommended.

Overall Highly Recommend!
I had been saving up to get a canon R6ii, and was not sure which company I should buy from with my hard-earned money. In doing my research I stumbled upon this company and was impressed with their amazing prices, however I was not able to find much info or reviews on them aside from Trustpilot. Tempted to save money, I decided to go with them even though I did have a lot of anxiety and doubt about it. I decided to write this review because my doubts were erased after my experience dealing with them. I gave 4 stars because the camera came a week later than they had said on their expected delivery time (came after a trip I was planning on taking the camera on), however when I messaged them a guy named James replied immediately to my emails. This man's customer service skills were the best I've seen in a very long time and was extremely helpful. I have dealt with customer service from well-known companies in the past and had far worse experiences. When the camera finally came it was brand new and everything was perfect. Even the lens that I had bought was perfect. I've had no issues with the camera and do not regret my purchase at all. So overall I would say that this company is legitimate and is well worth buying from especially with the prices they offer, but I would expect to wait longer than they claim.
