I used Slimmr for over a year
I used Slimmr for over a year, and got down to my target weight, so took the decision to stop using Wegovy. However, because I probably didn't stay on the maintenance dose for long enough, I noticed food noise coming back after a couple of months.
I have therefore started again, and am so pleased I did.
Slimmr have been very helpful in getting me back on track.
Ordering is very easy and delivery is efficient, arriving exactly on time.

Thank you for sharing your review Carolyn. We were so pleased to see your progress on the programme, and sorry to see you have since moved to another provider. As you know, all providers had to increase their prices substantially when Lilly increased the UK price of Mounjaro, and we supported many patients - including yourself - to switch to alternative medication on the programme to help manage your outgoing costs. We did this transparently and safely for all patients who requested this.
In terms of our pricing, we never claimed to be the cheapest provider. We offer a holistic wrap around service that offers to support patients in as many ways as we can. This means in addition to the GLP-1 medication, we offer psychological support videos you can use anytime, weekly exercise classes, a bank of more than 50 exercise classes online and top tier, responsive medical support delivered by experts in the field. This is quite different to most other providers. We have also never had a stock shortage or been able to fulfil the best dose for a patient, partially because of the relationship we have with both Eli Lilly - who make Mounjaro and Novo Nordisk - who make Wegovy. This is very different to many other providers.
We pride ourselves on offering responsive customer support - both within working hours (prescribers anytime, including to discuss dose adjustments and side effects) and outside of them. We also have a very responsive support desk, often staffed by doctors, and a counsellor who calls patients to check in on your progress. Lots of services offer weight loss jabs but this personal and wrap-around service is a key part of what Slimmr does differently. It means we are confident you'll get the most out of the new medication and develop the long-term habits you'll need to be able to stop this in the long term.
With regard to pricing, we are aware there is some variation in the prices for weight loss medications on the internet, and we do monitor this closely and try to price ourselves somewhere in the middle - we are not the cheapest but we are far from the most expensive. We aim to keep our prices in line with Boots, although we have currently manage to remain cheaper for the lower doses of both Wegovy and Mounjaro. Boots also charge £32 per month extra for some of the additional things that we include in the programme for free and which you can take advantage of. Bupa charge significantly more, for example.
We do understand that the medication is a significant outlay each month for many people. Where prices from others seem too good to be true, there have been a number of reports in the press of people seeking out weight loss medication deals and receiving fake products. There have already been over 250 pharmacy websites closed down for offering counterfeit products:

Outstanding. Slimmr aren't the cheapest place to get GLP-1s but the support, availability to answer questions and overall care they show is phenomenal. I can't recommend them enough. The team are always quick to respond to any emails and helpful, explaining what might be happening to any concerns, but offering options and possible solutions as well.
