ALL BAD! It says they will mail you legal documentation, as well as a free pet exam, but they won’t. Everything on the site has been a lie in my experience and I used the service and paid the $200 adoption fee. I’ve tried submitting requests on their website, not one response after multiple requests. I tried emailing the 1 email they show to ask for help, not one response after multiple emails. I’ve tried reaching out to the previous pet owner, no response. Thankfully I was able to rescue this precious dog, but how about the vet tells me they can’t even discuss medical care with me because “I’m not the owner.” Where’s my legal documentation?!? God bless you if you are trying to save an animal, but I wouldn’t use this company! Definitely don’t expect any help or any communication even from them.

I was interested in 2 different dogs and both were scams. I reported the first one and the profile was removed and now I just reported the 2nd one which I assume will also be removed. They both were the same type of dog and both asked for my full name and to send them $50 for documents from their vets. I had never even met the dog. This was conversation before the meet up. Beware of this site! I wonder if the whole thing is a scam?

I selected several ads from this site, all were scam! no control, nothing to report.. Avoid this platform!!!!!!

Scammers. I got scammed three times and then deleted my account. This is a fake website.

I’ve had three interactions with dog owners one that didn’t contact me at all for days and then when I said I’d meet tomorrow they jumped at that and then I said I wanted a recent picture and they didn’t respond at all. So they’re probably a scam the next time I checked on a dog and you’re not supposed to pay cash to anybody but the agency who is Aligning all these meetings with dogs finding new homes however, they wanted me to pay additional money with PayPal to them which was against all the policies that’s the second scam. The third scam is another dog which if you look at the picture he’s an Alaskan malamute, but yet the description is nothing like an Alaskan malamute so it’s clearly not the owner of the dog he just filled out the form and use some other dogs photo another scam. You cannot trust this site at all.

Like Craigslist, mostly scams and people who lie to get their animals rehomed. Opted instead to pay $2500 to a German Shepherd breeder with a health guarantee and great temperament. Some things are worth the money especially when children are part of the equation. Stay safe, lots of bad people out there.

I saw a Goldendoodle (I know…too good to be true) in VA. Had a lengthy conversation back and forth with the guardian. We eventually set up a meeting which was 1.5 hrs away from us. He had mentioned that he needed to see our IDs for a “background check”. I was ok with a public records search and showing him my ID for legitimacy. I made it clear to him that he would not obtain a copy of my ID nor would he be getting our SSN number for any background check. He said that was fine and completely understood. He just wanted to make sure we were who we were I assume. The day came and we drove to the meet up site at Petsmart. He was a No Show and never responded again to the messages. His name was Keerthi in VA around Sterling. The dogs name was Simba. Best of luck for anyone that has been successful on that site but I won’t use or waste my time again.

I found GetYourPet quite by accident.
I saw a pup that I was interested in and completed the on-line form available on the website around 9am that morning. By noon, the owner had contacted me and by 6pm that evening we had met and we both knew that the match-up was meant to be!

The experience was exactly as the site said it would be, from arranging the initial "meet-n-greet", to the moment I picked up my 4-legged friend.

There was never a question of money(???), as that is handled through the organization, not the owner.

Both the owner and I followed along with the "rules" and suggestions offered by the site and it all went as described.

Two years later, I am looking at another adoption, through this organization.

Far far too many scammers on this site. There is no way to flag them or report them and they often ask you to send them money up front for fake documents. Do NOT use this site.

Acquisto escursione in Romania ai casteli di palesh e bran più cittadina di brazov. Dopo aver passato il pomeriggio nel valutare le offerte,maggiormente quelle del sito in questione ( il sito ha varie proposte,tutte simili e range economici molto differenti) , trovo una buona offerta per uno specifico giorno con guida in italiano e prenoto (una guida non inglese fa lievitare il prezzo di 20 euro a persona). Il tutto circa un mese prima del viaggio. Circa 2 settimane prima ricevo mail nella quale mi dicono che la guida italiana ha un problema di salute e se andava bene guida in inglese, senza ovviamente ridurre il sovrapprezzo per la guida in italiano. Torno quindi a perder tempo in ricerche, ma con stessa data e condizioni, i prezzi raddoppiano...mi lamento anche tramite mail chiedendo che mi venga sostituita l escursione ma nulla. Il giorno dopo vengo contattato e CONFERMO che parteciperò anche con guida inglese. Il giorno dopo mi arriva mail dove viene annullata l escursione e che verrò rimborsato. Abbastanza alterato vengo contattato,il fornitore non può più confermare la prenotazione altrimenti avrebbe pagato penali. A chi? Hanno beghe interne ed errate comunicazioni con i fornitori. Pessima organizzazione. L unico pro ê che gli operatori di get our guide sono gentilissimi, molto meno i loro fornitori. Alla fine ho prenotato eu altro sito allo stesso prezzo con guida italiana ma per un altro giorno.

Thought I had found the dog of my dreams. I made an appointment for a meet and greet . The map on the website was incorrect and I missed the appointment.I tried to reschedule but the owner refused because I "wasted his time." It was obvious that a man would not have wasted his time. I could not reach anyone for help.

I inquired about 5 different dogs - 2 were scams (1 asked for money before meeting up, 1 asked for my full name and social security number LOL), 2 never answered, and 1 changed the meet up 3 times, ghosted me in a dark parking lot in the rain, and then when we set ANOTHER new date to meet up the following week, I got a message saying that the dog was adopted to someone else who met him and fell in love with him that day. This site is not monitored enough.

BE AWARE OF A "SELLER" NAMED "ANNE" AS THAT I POMERANIAN "TONIA" (HER NAME WAS PRINCESS WHEN I INQUIRED MONTHS AGO THEN GOT ROBBED BY THE PERSON),IT IS 100% FALSE. THEY WILL ASK YOU FOR MONEY COUNTLESS TIMES THEN HAVE YOU DRIVE 2.5 HOURS TO MEET UP AND FINALLY BRING THE DOG HOME THEN NEVER SHOW UP. THEY ARE 100% A SCAM. THEY DIDN'T EVEN TRY TO USE DIFFERENT PHOTOS.

I had scheduled meetups 4 times, different people. One wanted me to send a deposit before we met, another wanted money to transfer paperwork, one cancelled and told me she had to work and will send a driver to my house wanted my address. Another had a corgi, wanted to meet me in a cemetery in the afternoon. It was neat tmw , but she cancelled when I suggested Petsmart. I had no luck meeting a real person

Terrible! Scammers left and right. When you report them, they delete the scammer listing and the scammer then lists another dog new acct right after. They ask for money to p/u the vet papers. They list 6mos old Frenchies, Poms that are good w all ppl, animals, follow all commands. To good to be true is.

Terrible website with zero customer service support. I re-homed my pet and less than 24 hours later, the family “changed their minds” and truthfully wanted to keep the free items I gave them while using them for another dog.

I contacted getyourpet.com days ago to ZERO responses. I want to get my pet back as I’m worried about their safety. Countless emails, phone calls, nothing. The person named Angela who is supposedly the owner doesn’t respond to her emails either.

The website will take your money and that’s about it. Stay away.

If I could have given a zero I would. Got so excited to get a new puppy only to find out it was a scam. They clearly don’t check into “guardians” and then it’s shame on us. Do not use this site!!

Be careful there are many scammers on the site asking for gas money, vet money before they meet with you to supposedly give you a pet. I wrote to Angela one of the owners of the site and she wasn't vigilant in deleting the accounts. They just keep posting the same puppies like French Bulldogs and pomeranians- BEWARE. Do not send money to any of the dog owners who ask for it since you will never here from them again.

Not sure how much of this is a reflection on the site or the individual, but I was completely ghosted by a guy who I had been messaging about adopting his dog. I was all set to meet him and he goes and declines the meet up and his account is deleted a few hours before we are set to meet. It's upsetting because I was set to meet with another dog that I lost out on as well because I had agreed to meet this dog first. Especially disappointed because I saw his ad via petfinder and that made me feel it was more legit. Unfortunately after this bad first experience I will not be using this app again.
