I needed a DNA fragmentation test and couldn’t find an at home service that offered that type of testing. Legacy had what I needed and the process was easy and affordable.

Legacy was incredibly quick and easy to use, without sacrificing quality. The test truly felt clinic grade (I was able to use it when I went to my doctor), and they even offered DNA fragmentation analysis - something that you typically can only get through a fertility clinic. The whole experience was seamless and way better than having to go to a clinic. I've already recommended to a bunch of friends who are trying to have kids.

I knew I wanted the procedure but wanted to keep my options open for the future. I decided to freeze my sperm before my vasectomy, and Legacy made the process so easy. The kit arrived quickly, and the instructions were pretty straightforward. The detailed analysis gave me a lot of confidence in the quality of what I was storing. It’s really a small price to pay for knowing that I can start a family in the future. Highly recommended.

My doctor recommended I do this before I start my HRT. They told me this company would be just as good as any lab and much easier - they weren't wrong!!

The closest office for me to get this done is over an hour away and terrifying since it requires multiple appointments. Here I did everything online from home. When I looked into it I found out they are fully CLIA certified just like the lab I would be using at the University hospital which made me feel better.

Everything on line was affirming, they used my proper pronouns and preferred name. The package was so subtle - no one in my house even knew what it was. The best thing was that I got results back so fast so I didn't have to delay finally starting my HRT!!! And they do something called a "post thaw motility" which means when I go to use this in the future, my docs will know exactly what they have ahead of time.

They also offer STI testing and DNA fragmentation which my doctor said I didn't need in this case but it was great to know they really do all the same things any other medical lab does. And they do it WAY more conveniently

It was super easy and convenient overall. Being able to collect the sample at home was way more comfortable than doing it in a doctor’s office, and it was way cheaper compared to using a sperm bank. I also really liked getting regular updates throughout the process and being able to see the quality of my samples at the end.

I used Legacy to bank sperm before a scheduled vasectomy. Their website showed that their lab would be open to receive my final pre-procedure sample, so I shipped it as instructed.

After it was sent, I was told the lab was actually closed and the transport media would expire before they reopened—making the sample medically unusable. That sample was my last chance to bank sperm before surgery.

Legacy later acknowledged the confusion between their website and their internal holiday closure and refunded only part of the cost, offering replacement kits after the vasectomy—which cannot replace what was lost.

This is an extremely time-sensitive, life-altering service. A failure of coordination between shipping, lab hours, and customer communication resulted in irreversible loss of reproductive material.

I would strongly caution anyone relying on them for pre-procedure fertility preservation to double-verify lab intake dates in writing before shipping.

*Ahh, very interesting response. Before they posted it, they offered me a partial refund if I removed my review and signed an NDA waiving any rights to pursue legal action.

I purchased the expensive "For Tomorrow" bundle ($1495) expecting premium medical service, but what I got was a logistical nightmare.

Misleading Location: Their marketing makes you feel they are accessible, but their lab is on the East Coast (NJ/NY). If you live in California like me, your sensitive biological sample has to travel across the entire continent.

Logistics Failure: I followed their instructions, but my sample was stuck in transit for days due to their poor planning around holidays. For a medical service that requires temperature control, this is unacceptable.

Emotional Damage: The uncertainty and delays caused me immense panic and stress. When you are banking sperm for the future, you need reliability, not excuses.

If you are on the West Coast, do NOT use Legacy. They cannot guarantee the safety of your sample during shipping. I deeply regret paying this much for such unreliable service.

Ordered this kit for my fiancé, the whole process was smooth and seamless, the kit came in a sleek package with clear instructions, results came fast, couldn’t recommend enough

First test cane with a cracked cup. Second test got messed up during delivery and that cup leaked. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND! Caused more stress then what it's worth and the results are heavily inaccurate. When we called to get the new one delivered the customer service lady seemed upset we wanted a new one or refund. For $600 plus dollars it better be accurate and done correctly!!
