Go Girl's first quote was reasonable for a 20yo female, at £679.
I got married, moved house and became a house person, for which they charged a further £618.04 in premiums. The portal did not work until yesterday, and I've been with them since August 2025.

Around March I had a crash, which was dealt with reasonably well. I was unsure how it would change the insurance cost, so asked them for a quote and was assured it would not go above £1200.

Next month I am due a renewal, so contacted for this years quote and was blown away by the price.

£5084.80

The absolute lowest they would go was £4090, and they refused to acknowledge the previous quote I had of £1200! The customer service lady said she was "sorry but whoever told you that quote shouldn't have".

At this price, a person could buy a whole new car, AND insure it.

Since then, I have had a quote from Admiral which I will be going with from September, as they were a more reasonable price of £978!

The purchase of the policy was very straightforward and easy to navigate and the price for the premium was excellent, given the savage rise in car premiums over the last year or so.
I have only given three stars, because the most important factor with any insurance is how they deal with claims and that, I am pleased to say, has not yet been tested
