Should be no ‘great’ in great art
Really high shipping rate and yet orders take ages to arrive. I have been waiting 12 days so far for my order. Their site ‘tracking’ option does not work and their customer service is slow and unsympathetic. Not impressed at all.

Worst experience ever
Placed an order, after 10 days made contact as nothing received. Was told that 10 working days is the estimated time frame and also was subsequently subjected to a verbal attitude and lack of professional response when I enquire as to why such a slow service, especially after I asked why it is not made apparent at time of ordering that orders are dispatched from mainland Europe.
When asked to speak to a senior manager was denied as the "customer service " person stated he was the only one in.
When delivery is now attempted it is going to be refused and charge back made from bank. This company obviously needs reminders about distance selling laws and governance about transparency laws. The FAQ are about questions if the customer has no questions then they are not going to look there to find out about the delay of service.
Also worth noting is that the tracking service via the greatart.co.uk website doesn't work and only servers to open new tabs to order history.
Buyers be warned, take the advice from most of the reviews this company has buy elsewhere

Good
Delivery was later than expected (it took 2-3weeks).
but when I received damaged items, they sent me replacement after two weeks.
Customer service was no problem (They responded for my email quickly.

Terrible company
Terrible company. I ordered two frames and only one arrived after more than 3 weeks. I have been in touch several times and they seem to be ignoring me. Down £69.99 😡😡😡

When I found the delivery was longer than I anticipated, I called the company and they were so obliging and helpful in being able to source and expedite the items to me. They worked around a few obstacles and came up trumps! Thank you and great customer service for me!

Slow, but not a scam.
I would usually reserve a 1 star review for a company that is a scam. GreatArt is not a scam. It exists, and my art supplies (which were not available elsewhere) did indeed arrive. They took longer than expected, which was already longer than we are used to in the age of Amazon Prime. I believe GreatArt would be greatly served by explaining on their order form that they are a small operation with limited resources and being more transparent about how long you should expect to wait.

Shockingly SLOOOOOOW delivery
If you're happy to wait a month for delivery then go ahead and give them a try; otherwise, take a little look at their reviews here and on Google and consider spending your money elsewhere. Sorry to have to give such a poor rating (it would be less than one star if possible), but this company is best avoided.
Responsive to customer service emails, but supply erroneous tracking information; they seem to sit on orders for weeks before despatch. Seriously need to up their game if they wish to trade online.
Eventually received my order and had the postage charges refunded, which is appreciated.

Really bad service
Really bad service - no contact or tracking provided and the customer service is unhelpful. 3 months and order has still not arrived.I ordered a parcel back in February and still waiting for it to arrive (it's now May!) I have contacted them 3 times to resend the parcel and each time nothing arrives and no contact from them. On my most recent contact with them they have denied any correspondence from me. Obviously I can prove them to be wrong and sent all the dated emails they deny. Really disappointing and unaccountable behaviour.

Really poor service
Really poor service. Delayed delivery of a canvas, with no notification. This was for a commission which has now been made very difficult.
I won’t be using great art again, or recommending them.

Stay clear!!
Took well over the estimated delivery time, no tracking number until the day before delivery, called multiple times to enquire about it with no answer from them. After I did get through I was told someone would call me, they did not until I involved PayPal. I ordered from a different company which is in France a whole week after I ordered from Greatart and it arrived first! Total joke and will never buy from them again

Non delivery of ordered items
Very disappointed that I have not received my delivery of paints which were ordered 24th February 2022. It is now 21st March 2022.

Placed an order. They've taken the money from our bank account. But no order has arrived.
Impossible to contact them to find out what's happening.
Another devious company using "covid" to take peoples money, not provide the items and making it impossible to find out what's happening.
There's a name for that it begins with dishonest.

GreatArt, non delivery, no communication. Worst experience of an online company I've ever had.
It is now "working" day 13 waiting for a delivery from GreatArt. I have written two emails and tried phoning customer services 6 times. No response to emails and phone line always engaged. So no way of communicating with them. In reality no customer service. No idea how or when I'm going to get my order or indeed get my money back. I strongly advise you not to use this company.

The only place that sold a particular pencil I needed for a great price. Very accommodating when I pointed out a delivery cost issue and sorted it immediately. Delivery not the quickest but I was happy to wait to get what I wanted. Thanks to customer service colleagues for your help.

Possibly worst online seller ive dealt…
Possibly worst online seller ive dealt with in a while. Item took 24days to arrive. They said that it would take 7-10days to arrive. Never provided tracking details didnt reply to emails. Even 10 days is an excessive delivery time. Looks like the item had been shipped from germany. Sellers should be upfront about delivery times on their websit and provide proof of despatch.

Order not delivered
I placed an order for a sable brush (not cheap!) on 4th February which should have arrived within 10 working days, according to the GreatArt website. It still hasn’t arrived and there is still no tracking available. I have been fobbed off on the phone with no end of false promises and different excuses. They eventually agreed to send me one direct from their store which arrived the next day but I had to really battle for that and had to pay the purchase price again. I have been told that if the other one doesn’t arrive I have to wait the legal maximum of 30 days before they will issue a refund. Needless to say I will never shop with them again.

Absolutely Awful
Absolutely Awful. I’m a professional artist and have placed a few orders with GreatArt in the past but I won’t be using them again. I placed an order on 19th January, after ten days I emailed to say my order hasn’t arrived, they said it would arrive that week. I asked multiple times for a tracking number and was ignored. Order didn’t arrive. Emailed again, they said in the next few days. Still a no-show. Emailed again, it’s coming the next week. It’s ridiculous. Today I asked for a refund as it’s been nearly a month since I placed my order, AND I FINALLY GET A TRACKING NUMBER. Apparently it will arrive by the end of the week. Why does it take me having to ask for a refund for me to finally get a tracking number??? Yodel says they only received the parcel today, so has it only just now been sent???? Absolute joke of a company. Let’s see if it even arrives. I’ll be using Jackson’s Art from now on.

Not Great anymore
I used to order my supplies regularly from Great art. Never an issue. I even recommended them to other artists. But this was some years ago.
I ordered something as a present 3 weeks ago (not as long as other people) but if I'd bothered to check out Trust pilot, I wouldn't have bothered.
Customer service doesn't work. The voice box of the uto answer is always full. I managed to speak to a human at the London store who tried to be helpful. She said customer service would contact me that day. Of course that didn't happen. I've had no updates via email or texts.
So, what's gone wrong Great Art? How can you offer a service SO BAD when before it wasfine. Please don't blame brexit alone. What is wrong with emailing or texting a customer to tell them that there's even a delay? It's really shoddy management and it's that simple.
Judging by the appalling reviews, I expect to write off the money I spent with Great Art.

Nearly three months of hassle
I ordered paint and bubble wrap as I am starting a small business and needed supplies. The prices for their supplies were great in comparison to other suppliers. I ordered from them 14/12/2021, expecting my order to be here the following week, maybe after the new year. On 31/12/2021, the bubble wrap I had the ordered arrive. I contacted again on 03/01/2022 to see where my paints were, and was told on 05/01/2021 that my original order was part of the "high volume of parcels running late".
A thing to not about this company, sure they are a UK company, but they ship supplies from Germany, so knowing this, I gave them the benefit of the doubt since they were coming from overseas.
Anyway, back to the story; I contact them again on 14/01/2022 to ask if any tracking had been provided, as I had not been sent any sort of update past what their customer service team provide. I receive a response almost immediately, saying that they believed that my parcel was one of many in a pallet stuck in transportation. At this point, a replacement was offered - which I accepted, hoping that this would arrive sooner - and I received an email from them on 19/01/2022 that the replacement had been booked, and would be here in 7-10 days. 01/02/2022 I contact again to ask for tracking for either the original order, or the replacement, so that I could be sure I would be home when they arrived, and because I had not received any sort of update between 19/01/2022 and 01/02/2022. 02/02/2022 I receive a reply saying the parcel should have arrived that day by the latest, and that I should expect my order to arrive by Monday 07/02/2022. Monday comes, still no parcel, so again they are contacted to ask what course action I should take next. I am trying to remain calm and friendly with then, but by this point I am pretty annoyed. 08/02/2022 I am told that my parcel is still delayed, but that they have "received concrete news from the transportation company that everything is now moving and the parcels are arriving at the distribution centre today and tomorrow". I should expect my parcel by Friday 11/02/2022. I was also told that they could provide a refund, but asked if I could wait a little longer. 11/02/2022 comes, still no parcel. I contact them again, this time requesting a refund. I receive nothing back. Complete silence. I have sent them another email today 14/02/2022, again requesting a refund, and now awaiting a reply. I am going to the bank today to see if they can help with getting a refund, as I now need to find where else I can purchase the paints I need from, and see if I can somehow make some pieces ready for next month when I start trading.
I made the mistake of not looking for reviews beforehand, and took a risk which did not pay off. Do not make the same mistake I did.
Update: I got a reply stating that a refund has been issued, and will be in my bank account in 2-3 days.
I have looked all over their website, and on their social media, and there is no update to say that they are experiencing shipping delays with their transportation companies, so customers are non the wiser about this issue unless they look at the reviews on here, or purchase and experience the same as what so many of us have already.
Update 2: I received a full refund on Thursday 17/02/2022, despite only asking for a refund for the missing paints. I have since ordered the paint I needed from another supplier, however I will be trying to order from GreatArt again in the future when I am requiring more as their prices are incomparable, and they should have their new tracking system up and running.
I am going to change this review to two stars, as the customer service team were very helpful in giving updates when I asked, but one thing to not is that unless you ask, you will more than likely not receive an update or contact about changes.
