The transfers from the airport to hotel and to all ferries are exactly on time. All of the accommodations are great and in perfect locations. The cost is phenomenal. We have used them 4 times now.

Would be perfect if at least 2 full…
Would be perfect if at least 2 full days in Prague coz 1 1/2 days is not enough. Overall, it was a good experience seeing three places in compacted schedule. The one thing I noticed is that the Up hotel in Budapest is very fancy, like the cleanliness and location but the front desk people are not helpful and dont have a welcoming face.
All the breakfast buffet are really good.

The trip itself was great value - lacking in communication
The trip itself was an excellent value. However I was disappointed with the inability to communicate to the 3rd party you booked with (Cosmos) to better plan activities despite several attempts calling you and Cosmos. This would have changed my experience and reduced unnecessary stress and duplicate planning and prob then provide a “4” rating.

Not a castle.…
Most of the places we stayed were very nice. However, as this was supposed to be staying in castles, our stay in Ennis was a golf resort hotel. The room was just ok. This was a let down after all the other places. Also, without showing on papers received about our trip, there was nothing to show I paid extra for our flight. Received nothing for the upgrade.

Not staying only 1 day beginning and the end of the week in Daublin, we would rather spend 2 consecutive days at each city, the hotels change their check in to 4:00 PM not 3:00, PM please correct at the itinerary

The travel experience was well planned and did not have any problem with any booking or reservation. Sights were all beautiful. From beginning to end. Only con would be wish there was a better way to contact a live representative with any questions or issues prior or during travel plans. I did not have any major issues, but still nice to know that someone is available without having to use email or only if emergent.

Traveling France, Dealing with the Unexpected
Overall it was nice to have the company plan and book our excursion through Paris and Bordeaux. We loved having a flexible itinerary that allowed us to explore on our own.
Unfortunately, there were a few glitches that made our trip less than stellar. The first was using the 2 day Go City Pass. I used the pass to book tickets to the Eiffel Tower and ended up with a $451 charge on my credit card! It doesn't even cost that much for tickets never mind that they were already paid for - I was just getting tickets to gain entry.
When picking up our car rental, we were told they had no cars and there would be at least an hour wait. Customers that were there before us said they had already waited several hours and still hadn't received a car. We decided to go to another car rental place and put the purchase on our credit card. While I realize this is beyond the control of Great Value Vacations, they need to work with car rental companies who do not overbook so this doesn't happen to others.
I do have good memories from the trip, France is a wonderful country, but when I return home, I'll have to deal with a scam charge for tickets and getting reimbursed for a car rental. I understand things can go wrong when you travel, but this was more than I anticipated.

So I was admittedly skeptical about this company as the deal seemed too good to be true but GVV lived up to what they promised and then some! We were very happy with the accommodations and ease of airport transfers all at a great value! We would definitely use them again to plan another vacation.

Our family just came back from Italy (Venice, Florence, and Rome) and we had an amazing time! Great Value Vacations scores high for us! The hotels were clean, comfortable and within easy access to trains, trams and the Metro. This was our first time booking through GVV, but we're already looking for our next destination!

The trip was well organized and the transportation pickups and dropoffs were on schedule. The accommodations were great for the price point. Breakfasts were decent, although some were missed due to early transportation schedules.
Only one glitch the entire time. Driver from one hotel left without us early but did come back and get us to our ferry on time.
I would not be hesitant to use this company again.

Fantastic tours lined up! Truely great experience and saw so much of Ireland, especially when driving yourself! Great Value Vacations did a great job with Itinerary! Loved the idea of knowing you just had to be at hotel, the rest was up to us and got to do back road touring on our own. This was my 5th time with Great Value Vacations.
