Kerrie is the best!!
If I could rate Kerrie in the Air Department I would give her a 10 star review. Unfortunately the other people we talked with were pretty worthless, for lack of a better word. Kerrie, however, was super friendly, patient, knowledgeable, thorough and transparent. She is a huge asset to this company and may be the only reason I would consider using GVV again. I hope her superiors realize how valuable she is and compensate her appropriately for that. The options to rebook after having to cancel our trip to Hawaii because of hurricane Lowell were very limited, even having full credit for a future trip. All the options were considerably more expensive due to the time restrictions we had to complete travel for the rescheduled trip. But Kerrie did some digging and found us some very good options that we were not able to find online nor through the original customer service reps we talked to. So thankful to Kerrie and so fortunate we got to work with her on our trip. Thank you Kerrie!

It was a fantastic trip
It was a fantastic trip! However, the only thing I would point out is that the trip was underneath a Vacation Type of Solo Traveler, so I assumed this was a tour for solo travelers only and it was not. Still enjoyed the trip and would do it again, but I definitely had the wrong idea that everyone would also be a solo traveler on a trip found under Solo Travel. I assumed these were specific tours that didn’t include a solo traveler supplement and curated specifically for those traveling solo. Not the case, but still met a ton of wonderful people and had a great time!

If I could give a zero, I would. First they refused to cancel our trip to Dubai when the war started and continued. Finally, 3 days before the trip, agreed to issue a credit. Needless to say we missed our vacation as ot was too late to book anything else. I used the credit on a trip to Portugal and they nickle and dimed me on everything and the customer service was horrific. They also gave me a return flight from Lisbon at 9:50am, knowing that I will be in Algarve right before that and have a 3 hrs drive to Lisbon! They are only nice before you book, not after. I had a horrible experience from day one. Their tours are extremely expensive and are so poorly planned. Horrible company

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We appreciate the opportunity to clarify the circumstances surrounding your booking and address your concerns.
At the time of your original Dubai vacation, Travel Protection had not been purchased. As a result, a voluntary cancellation would have resulted in the loss of the funds paid toward the trip. Based on our experience, we recommended waiting to see whether the airline would make a decision regarding the suspension of flights. Once the airline did so, you were able to receive a full travel credit for all monies paid toward the vacation.
When your new trip was arranged, a promotional discount was applied. While promotional discounts are not ordinarily permitted when rebooking with travel credits, we were pleased to extend this discount to you as a gesture of goodwill.
We also understand there was some confusion regarding the information available to the booking agent at the time the new arrangements were made. The agent assisting with the booking was not aware of your separate stay in the Algarve, and we have previously provided documentation reflecting the information that was available to us at that time. Had changes to the flights subsequently been requested, the applicable airline change fees and any fare difference would have been determined by the airline. Great Value Vacations did not add any additional change fees of our own.
With respect to pricing, we stand by the value of our vacation packages and believe they are competitively priced within the marketplace.
We hope this provides additional clarity regarding the circumstances and the steps taken on your behalf. Thank you for giving us the opportunity to address your concerns once again.

Not really a bed and breakfast.
This was my second trip with Great Value Vacations, and while everything started great, I was deeply disappointed by how the second half of my trip was. I feel that I was mislead by GVV and how they described the "Bed and Breakfast" part of my trip. The bed and breakfast part of our trip was more like staying in a guest house, without any amenities one would expect from a bed and breakfast. When I reached out to GVV for help, it look over 18 hours to get a response from GVV, even though I was actively traveling. The response I received was basically too bad, so sad. I felt completely brushed off and not like I was being valued as a customer at all.

Great Vacation
We have used GVV before and were very pleased with the results. This trip included a car rental at both locations. In did not read anything in the description of this vacation about parking for the car at the hotels. The hotel in Sorrento did have parking just up the street but at a cost of over 20 euros per night. I did call the hotel before our trip and asked about parking so while I was not happy about the additional cost I was ready to pay as there was no other option. The hotel in Taormina was a different story. I called them and they said they had parking. When I arrived they said they only had 4 spaces and all of them were taken. Parking in the Cable Car lot was about 20 euros a day as well. Please update your description of this vacation letting future guests know to expect to pay another 140 euros for parking their rental car
The hotels were very nice and excursions were nice.

This is the first time I've had such a terrible experience! I made a reservation for four people, two couples, and to my surprise, they put us in a single room. I thought that since the offer said it was for double occupancy per room, I didn't realize it until days later when I called customer service. They offered no solution, only that I would have to pay $2,000. We had to book a room through Airbnb. We are very frustrated by this situation.
