The cost of this trip was the best i found and I travel frequently to many countries

We have traveled with Great Vacations several times and have had no problems. This time we opted to visit Ireland and Scotland and use B&B's for flexibility rather than their pre-booked hotels.
This method worked well in Ireland with no additional costs with our chosen B&Bs. Ireland also had an excellent B&B website where you booked directly with the owners of the B&B.
In Scotland we had to book through Circle Hotel Group which proved more difficult to finally getting bookings. While our hotels were nice accommodations - all were apparently rated Category 9 resulting in an additional $ 3,000.00 charge.
This was obviously very a disturbing surprise making this trip quite a bit more expensive than our original payment to Great Value Vacations.
I am writing this review to let vacationers know this drawback to booking this choice of accommodations in Scotland.

Friends and family could not believe what a great deal we got on this trip to Oahu. A flight on American Airlines from LAX and a stay at a Double Tree in a great location in Waikiki! Accommodations and staff at the Double Tree were fabulous. Location of the hotel was key. Very walkable area right next to the Waikiki Brewing Company. Would definitely plan to come back here every year if this deal was still on offer!

Thank you for giving my family of four an opportunity to experience three great cities of Spain (Madrid, Seville and Barcelona) something I would have struggled to plan on my own.

From the Return Flight on WestJet to the Pick up and drop off transfer experience to the Airports was excellent. Planning three days in each city and two days for travel was a good package. Also the one day in each of the cities with one unplanned day and a half worked fine for us as we used the metro and the hop on hop off buses to maximize all that the cities / sites that the Spanish culture had to offer.
Good job on the selection of all the three hotels, unlimited wifi, buffet breakfast, tours and all encounters we had with staff was very pleasant.

On the downside, when I was looking in to the trip, I was under the impression that the quote was in Canadian dollars but when the final invoice showed up in Us dollars ( 40 % plus more than what I had budgeted for) it was a bit of a shocker but an expensive learning experience for me.

I would give the experience of Spain for my family of four organized by GVV 4.5 Stars but if the transfers were provided to and from the Rail stations would be a definite 5+Stars.

10/10 every time I have used this company! Only had 1 of 4 hotels that I wasn't completely over the moon about. Such a great experience for the cost.

Great value vacations set up our trip and it was smooth from start to finish. All voucher numbers were account vendors without problem. Every hotel was ready to accept us upon arrival. Flight and train tickets were perfect.
Locations of our 3 hotels were outside the city centers, but very close to public transportation and w/in a 20 min bus ride. Once we figured out how to use the bus systems, we were comfortable with the locations.
We felt happy with the plan this company put together for us. We’ve decided to try GVV again for future travels, through the TravelZoo app.

Booking through Great Value made things very seamless for us! It was so nice to have everything arranged and transports set up and ready to go! We did Rome, Athens, and Santorini for 11 days. We had ZERO hiccups! All of our hotels were good and located in central, safe locations with easy walking. Our Santorini hotel has the most amazing view I’ve seen in my life (and we travel a lot). Our transports were on site and early for every pick up. All the drivers were super kind and informative. Peter was the Great Value rep that met us at the Athens Airport and he was a WEALTH on information. We love good food and asked for recommendations. He gave 3 options to us- we tried them all and were blown away!!! Our included sunset catamaran cruise was fantastic!! We did the freedom package and loved having the ability to do our own thing without planning the boring stuff like taxis and ferries. Wasn’t sure what to expect with Great Value but we were pleasantly surprised. Took the guess work out of it all. We would absolutely use this service again!

We used GVV 6 years ago, was a much better organized trip. This time the facilities were not as nice as last time and the flight schedule was not all that great. Had to fly to Canada to get to Ireland and on our return trip our Air Canada flight was cancelled and we were not notified until we got to the airport in Dublin. Air Canada transferred us to United Airlines but our family of 4 had to sit in middle seats in different sections of the aircraft just to get home.

Our 3-city trip to Italy was superb! The airfare, the hotel rooms, the trains, the website dashboard, documentation and communication, the price … obviously… Everything was excellent! I really couldn’t be more pleased.

Our Costa Rica vacation with Great Value Vacations was nice. The price was reasonable and the services of our tour were excellent. Recommend Great Value Vacations for good vacation with reasonable cost

First time taking a GVV I was very happy with my experience. Cost was very reasonable. Lodging was nice some stays better than others. I like that there was a few excursions and free time to explore on your own. I plan on taking another trip with GVV.

The trip worth $. Hope GVV can negotiate parking as part of package deal.

The trip went so smoothly. Everything was perfectly timed from the pickup at the airport to the transfers and bringing us back to get home. The hotels were 5 stars beautiful places with excellent service. We planned our own excursions but the hop on hop off buses were a good way to get from one activity to the next. I would recommend Great Value Vacations

Excellently arranged trip to Dublin, Ireland for the two of us. The flights were great, the tours were amazing, and the Bonnington Dublin Hotel was just fine.

Hotel selections were great. Activity selections were great.

There was a lot to see in 10 days. Much time was spent in transport. The cost covered flights and ferry, which used up 3 1/2 of the days. No transport to hotels from terminals took a lot of extra work, and added about 900 or more to the cost. Hotels were clean but not fancy at all. one hotels breakfasts were good, but other hotels not great. We added tours on our own. We saw a lot but it was exhausting and I think we added over $ 3000 to 3500 to the cost with transports, tours and food. If I do one like this again I would keep the destination to one or two places so less time is in transport. Or one that would make sense to rent a car.
