The hotel rooms were fantastic. Better than I expected. Everything was scheduled very well. flights were mostly on time. walking tours were very educational. Even the train trip to munich was great. Over great trip and very well planned. would definetly book again on this site

We had a wonderful time in Ireland. The accommodations were very nice, especially in Belfast. We fell in love with the Titanic Hotel. And the Giant's Causeway! Simply amazing!

I got to see the Torc Waterfall, which has long been on my bucket list.

All of the tour buses were comfortable, and the drivers were funny and knowledgeable. Good drivers too. Yikes! I don't know how they do it

We had beautiful weather. Thanks, Great Value, for arranging that. The only rain we encountered was on the train returning to Dublin from Belfast. Other than that, sunshine and warm temps.

The one and only drawback was Air Canada. Chaos reigned. Gate changes, delays, lonnnnng waits. I won't use them again.

Overall, an A+++ for Great Value Vacations.

Great value vacation is very good, no problem. You get what they say.

I booked a trip through GVV several years ago and it was wonderful. However, when I booked this trip, I did not have the same experience. First, the price advertised turned out to be a lot higher once I started booking the trip. I was already committed so I paid it anyway. Then I found out the place I was staying for a week did not have air conditioning and a week before I went the accommodation's suggested bring mosquito nets. It was 98 degrees while I was there and not having a/c was horrible. I did bring mosquito nets and needed them...but again, was never informed about mosquito nets or the lack of a/c by GVV. Furthermore, I decided to change my flights and called GVV before my flight departed and they would not refund me for the flight or even refund me for the return portion of the flight. Based on all of these things I would not recommend using GVV for your travel plans.

Everything worked. Hotel rooms were ready, tours happened.

We just got back from Italy our trip was amazing.we have been traveling with GVV since 2017 and have always loved seeing the sights and views of the special places you have set for us Can’t wait for our next adventure

It was my first trip through Great Value Vacations. I did not know what to expect. After all, the team of Great Value Vacations did all the hard work, so me and my family could have relaxed Vacation. Thank you Great Value Vacations! I will definitely be your customer for my next trip!

We had a great time. Our resort was very nice. The only issue I would mention is our flights that were originally booked, were changed and then changed again. We barely had any layovers and this actually caused issues with such things as even being able to eat. That being said, heck and double check what your flights will be. However, the rest of the plans we had were fine and we made many memories!

Having not used Great Value Vacations previously, I was happily surprised that all went smoothly. The flights were in place, as described, when I went to check-in, and I was able to print all hotel vouchers in advance of the trip. Hotel check-in was smooth with the vouchers and the arrangements in place.

The times of one flight was challenging (6am), and any change of seats (at check-in) required additional costs. We also had to pay extra for the hotels (at booking) to ensure that we got two beds instead of one king. Usually one king works well, but in this case, we needed two beds.

I feel confident using GVV now and would definitely consider using them again in the future.

We did not know what to expect in Rio Brazil and had some nervousness about going. Booking it through Great Value Expectations made us much more comfortable and we ended up having a great trip experiencing all that Rio has to offer.

The trip was arrange perfectly. The hotel was amazing, flights were great, connection times very good and customer service was excellent. Can't wait to book my next vacations with this company again!

We loved the organization and details that were put into this trip. Our tour guide and bus driver were extremely knowledgeable and made the trip seamless. The historic and beautiful sights that we visited made this a once in a lifetime trip for our family. Would definitely recommend this company to do any trip!

All of our hotels were 3-4 Stars and provided breakfast which is convenient and $ saving. The Living Kaiser Franz Joseph Hotel in Vienna was not conveniently located and we spent a lot of time and money in Vienna transporting to and from the sights. The only issue we really had any trouble with was train transportation. The reservations and tickets are in German and not knowing the way things worked, we ended up on the right train, but wrong car and we got kicked out of our seats. We found an employee in the restaurant car that spoke English that could decipher the car and seat selections for us. This was the only snafu on an 11 day trip. We will use Great Value vacations again, it was an excellent value overall.

Too expensive for what is offered or not offered in package that included airfare, such as no transfers to airport, train stations or hotel.
DO NOY PLAN TO USE AGAIN.

This was one of the best trips we ever took with great value vacations. Vienna is fantastic. Prague was wonderful and Budapest was nice Everything went smoothly.
I suggest people taking ground transport from the airport in Budapest use Uber and not miniBud.

This was my fourth time booking an unbelievable trip with Great Value Vacations!!
Booking is so easy and the itinerary that they send you is so easy to follow and always have it on handy so you’re able to look up everything whenever you’re needed to do.

Being able to be in the cities and be there and enjoy everything and not have to stress.

The locations were unbelievable being able to start this adventure in Venice and then do two days in Florence and then two days in Rome was literally like a dream.

I couldn’t even imagine booking this kind of vacation on my own, and they took all the heavy lifting and made it a once in a lifetime memorable experience.

When I printed out all the necessary documents, apparently how to read a train ticket was not included. It was apparently a separate attachment. I called and talked to a representative and she promised to get the information back to me. I never heard from her. I then went and sent an email that said that they would get back to me in eight hours. They did not get back to me in eight hours. I submitted another email. The next morning I finally received an email to answer my questions. I’m not sure what would’ve happened had this been a true emergency since nobody seemed to be responding to me in any sort of timely manner. I also had a transfer to the airport on my final day. My flight had changed and I wanted to try and change my pick up time. The number on the voucher was not a number that could be accessed during the weekend. When I spoke to the driver, he said nobody mans that number. So I got to sit at the airport for an extra three hours.
The first hotel we stayed at in Budapest had air-conditioning that did not work. We spoke to the front desk clerks many times and they assured us it would be taken care of. It was not. Since we didn’t have a window that opened it was extremely hot. They informed us that they could not change rooms because the hotel was booked. The front desk clerk suggested that we send an email to them about this situation. I have done that with no response.
I have booked previous trips through Great Value and not had a problem. I have recommended Great Value on a regular basis. This is the first time I’ve had any sort of issue. However, had I waited to call I could’ve possibly missed my train since nobody seemed interested in getting this information to me.

Great Value Vacations provided an easy traveling experience. I was searching for an England trip for me and my girlfriend to have a Beatles fan experience. Great Value has it.

A couple of minor issues arose toward the end of the trip though but were resolved quickly. Part of my trip included train travel. The train arrived over an hour late to the destination. The train company announced that partial refunds on the ticket could be claimed. Unfortunately you needed to set up an account with them for automated delay repay prior to your date of travel to file the claim for refund. Great Value might want to give its customers a heads up on this.

Also, a driver that was to provide a transfer to the airport arrived at the wrong hotel. The driver contacted me and was rerouted to the correct hotel where I was staying. Luckily it only took less than 10 minutes for the driver to get to the correct hotel.

one hotel was nice the other two - not good. Poor locations, the train times were poorly placed. I will not use this service again.

This was an excellent holiday Down Under; we had a great itinerary with delightful excursions and hotels. We're hopeful GVV will offer Australia+New Zealand options in 2027.
